Stoke Mandeville Stadium is the National Centre for Disability Sport in England. It is sited alongside Stoke Mandeville Hospital in Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire. Stoke Mandeville Stadium is owned by WheelPower, the national organisation for wheelchair sport.

Turnfurlong (also known historically as Turn Furlong) is an area of Aylesbury (where at the 2011 Census the population was included) in Buckinghamshire, England. It is roughly defined as the area of housing that adjoins the two roads, Turnfurlong and Turnfurlong Lane (about a mile in combined length).

Aylesbury High School (AHS) was founded in 1959, in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, when the previously co-educational Aylesbury Grammar School (founded 1598) split to become two single-sex grammar schools. The two institutions remain on adjacent sites. The school takes its pupils from a wide area as far from Aylesbury as Oxford and Milton Keynes, as admissions are determined by the eleven-plus. The current headmistress is Marieke Forster. The school is colloquially referred to by locals as "Aylesbury Girls'" and by the students as "the High" or "AHS".

Walton (perhaps formerly known as Walcot) is a hamlet in the parish of Aylesbury, in Buckinghamshire, England. Although Aylesbury has grown to such an extent that it completely surrounds Walton by a couple of miles in each direction, the hamlet is still marked on modern maps. Walton sits north of the junction between two major turnpike roads, and was once the location of a toll gate and the toll keeper's cottage. It has also, in its time, been the location of a foundlings hospital and a leper colony.

Aylesbury Grammar School is an 11–18 boys grammar school in Aylesbury, in the English county of Buckinghamshire, which educates approximately 1300 boys.Founded in 1598 by Sir Henry Lee, Champion of Queen Elizabeth I, Aylesbury Grammar School celebrated 100 years on its current site in Walton Road in 2007. It is commonly referred to by its students, staff and others in the local area by the abbreviation AGS.

Queens Park is a late Victorian and early Edwardian area of Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire, England. It was one of the first developments outside the historic centre of the town, lying just south of the Aylesbury branch of the Grand Union Canal. Queens Park is mainly made up of terraced cottages with the occasional later semi-detached or detached property. Non-residential property is limited to the Queens Park Centre, a local arts and crafts venue, and the Millwrights public house. Bordering Queens Park to the south is the former hamlet of Walton.

South Aylesbury Halt was a railway station which was opened in 1933 and was closed in 1967. It was located on the Aylesbury–Princes Risborough line.

Bedgrove is one of the housing estates of the modern town of Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire, though it takes its name from a farm and hamlet that stood in the area until the area was cleared for building in the late 1950s. At the time it was built it was the largest housing estate of its kind in the country. The housing estate is on the south side of the town. The farm (and associated cottages) was where Pevensey Close now stands. In the 2001 census the population of Bedgrove was 9,171 people. Also the ancient village of Caldicot was thought to be situated approximately where Caldicot Close is today, hence the name of the new road.

The Mandeville School is a coeducational secondary school and sixth form located in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England.Built in the 1960s, there are approximately 1050 students currently attending Mandeville, aged between 11 and 18 years.
