Zalk en Veecaten is a former municipality in the Dutch province of Overijssel. The area is now part of the municipality of Kampen. The municipality covered the villages Zalk, on the south bank of the River IJssel, and Veecaten on the other side. Zalk en Veecaten was a separate municipality until 1937, when it became a part of IJsselmuiden.The coat of arms depicts a black lion rampant, flanked by the capital letters Z and V in black, on a shield of gold (yellow). The flag is an armorial banner.Zalk en Veecaten has about 1,450 inhabitants.

Zalk is a village on the west bank of the river IJssel within the municipality of Kampen in the Dutch province of Overijssel. It is situated just behind the winter dike of the IJssel river across from Wilsum.

Mastenbroek is a polder in the Dutch province of Overijssel. It lies north of the city of Zwolle. "Mastenbroek" is also the name of an hamlet, built around a church in the middle of the polder. The polder is part of three municipalities: the western part, including the hamlet Bisschopswetering and half of the village of Mastenbroek, lies in Kampen; the southeastern part lies in Zwolle; and the northeastern part, including the hamlet of Nieuwe Wetering and the other half of the village of Mastenbroek, lies in Zwartewaterland. It used to split into six municipalities.It was first mentioned in 1277 as Mastenbroic. The etymology is unclear. In 1169, it was attested as Vorsterbruc, but that name was reference to the entire wilderness between the IJssel and Zwarte Water. In 1369, a church was built in the hamlet. The current church dates from around 1647. In 1864, the inhabitants petitioned the government to construct a railway station in their hamlet which was initially denied. The stop was built 7 kilometres (4.3 mi) from the village, and closed in 1933.

Zwolle Stadshagen is a railway station in Zwolle, Overijssel, Netherlands. It serves the Kamperlijntje between Zwolle and Kampen. The station was opened on 15 December 2019.The station was originally planned to be opened in December 2017. It was discovered, however, that the renovation of the track was done with a technical error, and the trains could not go as fast as planned. In 2018, the technical issues were solved, and, after a short trial, the decision was made to open the station on 15 December 2019, when the new schedule of the Dutch Railways was enacted.

't Zand is a hamlet in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is located in the municipality of Hattem, about 6 km west of the city of Zwolle.'t Zand is not a statistical entity, and the postal authorities have placed it under Hattem. It consists of about 15 houses.

Wilsum is a small city in the Dutch province of Overijssel. It is located in the municipality of Kampen, about 4 km southeast of that city.

Zwollerkerspel (Low Saxon: Zwollerkärspel) is a former municipality in the province of Overijssel, Netherlands. It covered the countryside around the city of Zwolle. Zwollerkerspel was a separate municipality from 1802 until August 1, 1967, when it became a part of Zwolle, Hasselt, Heino, IJsselmuiden and Genemuiden.

IJsselhallen is a convention center located in Zwolle, Netherlands, which has hosted many concerts. It hosted Legoland 2010. IJsselhallen has a floor space of 20,000 m2 and was built in 1972. The IJsselhallen proposed to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 but pulled out because it is too small, the roof is too low and the capacity would not reach the EBU’s requirement.

Bouches-de-l'Yssel ([buʃ.də.li.sɛl]; "Mouths of the IJssel"; Dutch: Monden van de IJssel) was a department of the First French Empire in the present-day Netherlands. It was formed in 1810, when the Kingdom of Holland was annexed by France. Its territory corresponded with the present-day Dutch province of Overijssel. Its capital was Zwolle. The department was subdivided into the following arrondissements and cantons (situation in 1812): Zwolle, cantons: Hasselt, Kampen, Steenwijk, Vollenhove and Zwolle. Almelo, cantons: Almelo, Delden, Enschede, Goor, Oldenzaal and Ootmarsum. Deventer, cantons: Deventer, Hardenberg, Ommen and Raalte.Its population in 1812 was 145,000, and its area was 340,000 hectares.After Napoleon was defeated in 1814, the department became part of the United Kingdom of the Netherlands.

Wezep is a town in the municipality of Oldebroek, Netherlands. Located in the province of Gelderland, it had about 13,500 inhabitants in 2012. The Wezep railway station, located on the Utrecht–Zwolle railway, is the town's main landmark. The municipality's TV station is called LOCO TV.

The Jachin en Boazkerk is a church of the Netherlands Reformed Congregations in Genemuiden, Overijssel, the Netherlands. It was built in 2003, and can hold 1,850 people.
