Kent Town is an inner urban suburb of Adelaide, South Australia. It is located in the City of Norwood Payneham & St Peters.

Lower North East Road is an arterial road in the northeastern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia. From west to east, it consists of North Terrace through Kent Town, Payneham Road and Lower North East Road proper. It links the north-eastern corner of Adelaide to Houghton in the Adelaide Hills, and is an urban alternative to North East Road. Payneham Road runs from the northern end of Fullarton Road across Portrush Road to Glynburn Road at Glynde, South Australia, and continues as Lower North East Road to Hope Valley, where it meets the aastern Terminus of Grand Junction Road. It continues up a ridge of the Adelaide Hills through Houghton and meets North East Road. Payneham and Lower North East Roads are initially on the south side of the River Torrens, mirrored by North East Road on the northern side.

The Adelaide Street Circuit (also known as the Adelaide Parklands Circuit) is a temporary street circuit in the East Parklands adjacent to the Adelaide central business district in South Australia, Australia. The 3.780 km (2.349 mi) "Grand Prix" version of the track hosted eleven Formula One Australian Grand Prix events from 1985 to 1995, as well as an American Le Mans Series endurance race on New Year's Eve in 2000 (Race of a Thousand Years). Between 1999 and 2020 and again from 2022, a shortened 3.219 km (2.000 mi) version of the circuit has been used for the Adelaide 500 touring car race. A sprint version of the circuit was used after 2014.

Rymill Park / Murlawirrapurka (previously spelt Mullawirraburka), and numbered as Park 14, is a recreation park located in the East Park Lands of the South Australian capital of Adelaide. There is an artificial lake with rowboats for hire, a café, children's playground and rose garden, and the Adelaide Bowling Club is on the Dequetteville Terrace side. The Adelaide O-Bahn passes underneath it, to emerge at the western side opposite Grenfell Street. Before and in the early days of the colonisation of South Australia, the eastern park lands were used as camping grounds for the local Kaurna people and later people from other nearby Aboriginal peoples, such as the Ngarrindjeri. The park underwent extensive redevelopment, including the construction of the lake, around 1959–1960. It has been used for many cultural and sporting events, in particular Adelaide Fringe, Feast and Festival of Arts events, Carnevale in Adelaide, the Adelaide International Horse Trials. The Fringe venue hub set up on the western side of the park is known as Gluttony.

The National Wine Centre of Australia (commonly the "Wine Centre") is a public exhibition building about winemaking and its industry in South Australia, opened in 2001. It contains an interactive permanent exhibition of winemaking, introducing visitors to the technology, varieties and styles of wine. It also has a wine tasting area, giving visitors the opportunity to taste and compare wines from different areas of Australia. The Wine Centre is situated at the eastern end of North Terrace, Adelaide in the east parklands and adjacent to the Adelaide Botanic Gardens. The building designed by Cox Grieve Gillett uses building materials to reflect items used in making wine. The exterior of the building looks like a section of a wine barrel. Outside the building are rows of grapevines, showing seven different varieties of grapes to curious visitors who normally would not have access to a vineyard to see the differences for themselves.

The Australian Grape and Wine Authority is responsible for research, development and extension of the wine industry in Australia, including protecting the reputation of Australian wine. It was created in 2014 by merging Wine Australia and the Grape and Wine Research and Development Corporation.The Australian Grape and Wine Authority includes a regulatory body that ensures wine production complies with the Food Standards Code and ensures that information on labels of Australian wine is accurate, including geographic indicators.

Hackney is an inner-eastern suburb of Adelaide, South Australia, in the City of Norwood Payneham St Peters. It is adjacent to the Adelaide Park Lands, the Adelaide city centre and North Adelaide. The O-Bahn Busway passes along Hackney Road, part of the City Ring Route, Adelaide, which forms its western boundary. Its other boundaries are the River Torrens (north), the continuation of North Terrace through Kent Town (south), and a series of small streets and lanes to the east. The suburb is dominated by St Peter's College, an independent boys' school, which is wholly located within the suburb and occupies a 75-acre (30 ha) site, about 60% of the suburb's area. Located at this site since 1854, the school grounds contain three heritage-listed buildings.Romilly House in the southwest corner of the suburb, on North Terrace, is also listed on the Heritage Register.Hackney is adjacent to Park 11 of the Park Lands, across Hackney Road from the Botanic Gardens, the Botanic Park and the National Wine Centre.

Rundle Park / Kadlitpina (formerly spelt Kadlitpinna), also known as Park 13, is a part of the Adelaide Park Lands in Adelaide, South Australia. It was known as Rundle Park until its Kaurna name was assigned as part of the dual naming initiative by Adelaide City Council in 2003. The park is bounded by East Terrace (to the west), Botanic Road (north), Dequetteville Terrace (east) and Rundle Road (south).

The Britannia Roundabout is a roundabout intersection on the eastern side of the City Ring Route near the city centre of Adelaide. Before it was upgraded in 2014, many minor accidents had occurred over the years at this former traffic black spot.The five roads which join the intersection in clockwise order are Fullarton Road (to the north), Kensington Road to the east, Fullarton Road (to the south), Wakefield Road (to the west) and Dequetteville Terrace (to the northwest). All five roads are two lanes incoming. Drivers travelling in a south easterly direction on Dequetteville Terrace faced difficulty at the intersection because Wakefield Road traffic came from well over their right shoulder. The angle is less than 45 degrees. The north western intersection of the roundabout was used as a hairpin corner on the Adelaide Street Circuit, the temporary motor racing track and for a long time was named Foster's Corner. The intersection takes its name from the Britannia Hotel, a pub located on the corner of Fullarton and Kensington Roads. There had been persistent calls for the intersection to be replaced or improved over many years. In June 2013, the State Government proposed a safer re-design of the roundabout, splitting it into two smaller roundabouts. The project cost was estimated at $3.2 million, and involved the removal of a small number of trees from the nearby parkland. In April 2014, the new and upgraded Britannia Roundabouts came into operation.

Kensington Road is a main road in the South Australian capital city of Adelaide. It serves the eastern suburbs, primarily the northern side of the City of Burnside and the southern side of the City of Norwood, Payneham & St Peters. Its western end, on the edge of the city centre, is at the Britannia Roundabout on the City Ring Route. Kensington Road continues into the city centre as Wakefield Road. It has also been subject to controversial development by the Shahin family for their OTR headquarters, with over five attempts of approval despite community opposition.

The State Herbarium of South Australia, sometimes called the South Australian Herbarium, and having the herbarium code, AD, is located in Adelaide, South Australia. It is one of several State and Commonwealth herbaria in Australia. The Department for Environment and Water is the state agency which is responsible for the Herbarium, but the Board of the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium (established by an Act of Parliament, most recently the Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium Act 1978) is charged with its establishment and maintenance. The herbarium is responsible for Electronic Flora of South Australia. It also produces the journal, Swainsona (formerly Journal of the Adelaide Botanic Gardens).

Hutt Street is the most easterly of the five major north–south roads running through the City of Adelaide. It runs from Pirie Street to South Terrace, from where it continues south as Hutt Road. Hutt Street is named after Sir William Hutt, a British MP who was heavily involved in colonial South Australia. Located within the Adelaide city centre, Hutt street is occupied by numerous heritage buildings of architectural significance with many dating to the nineteenth century. Hutt Street has many restaurants and small businesses, including professional premises. It is known within Adelaide as a boutique dining locality.The Adelaide Street Circuit racetrack of the former Adelaide 500, centred on nearby Victoria Park, included the northernmost 140 metres (460 ft) of Hutt Street. Between 1985 and 2020, a partial road closure often occurred during the events.Hutt Street's surrounding streets and lanes include large wealthy homes intermixed with small workers' cottages, reflecting the substantial social mixture of early South Australia.Calvary Wakefield Hospital was situated on the corner of Hutt and Wakefield Streets until its functions were transferred in 2020 to a large new hospital, Calvary Adelaide Hospital, in Angas Street. On the other side of Hutt Street is the Adelaide studio of commercial TV broadcaster Network 10.
