Saint-Sixt

La Roche-sur-Foron (French pronunciation: [la ʁɔʃ syʁ fɔʁɔ̃]; Arpitan: La Roche) is a commune in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in Southeastern France. It is located about 23 km (14.2 mi) southeast of Geneva, Switzerland. La Roche-sur-Foron station has rail connections to Lyon, Annecy, Saint-Gervais and Geneva.

The canton of La Roche-sur-Foron is an administrative division of the Haute-Savoie department, southeastern France. Its borders were modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in La Roche-sur-Foron.It consists of the following communes:

Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ pjɛʁ ɑ̃ fosiɲi]) is a commune in the Haute-Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in Eastern France. It is located in the historical province of Faucigny in Savoy hence its name. The town had 6,389 inhabitants in 2016. It was born from the fusion in 1965 of the communes of Passeirier, Saint-Maurice-de-Rumilly and Saint-Pierre-de-Rumilly. Saint-Pierre-en-Faucigny is situated between Bonneville just to the east and La Roche-sur-Foron to the west.
