The former Asia Insurance Building (Chinese: 亚洲保险大厦; pinyin: Yàzhōu Bǎoxiǎn dàshà), now named Ascott Raffles Place, lies in the heart of the Central Business District of Singapore, at the corner of Finlayson Green and Raffles Quay. Standing at 270 feet (82 metres), it surpassed the Cathay Building to be the tallest tower in Singapore until the completion of Meritus Mandarin Tower 1 in 1971. Designed by one of Singapore's pioneer architects, Ng Keng Siang, the office building was completed in 1955 and served as the headquarters for the Asia Insurance Company, one of the first local insurance companies. In 2006, the building was acquired by the Ascott Group and the office tower has since been refurbished into a serviced apartment residence. Renamed as Ascott Raffles Place, the building sits on a 999-year leasehold site with a building footprint of about 950 square meters.

Lau Pa Sat (Chinese: 老巴刹; pinyin: Lǎo Bāshā; lit. 'Old Market'), also known as Telok Ayer Market (Malay: Pasar Telok Ayer; Chinese: 直落亚逸巴刹), is a historic building located within the Downtown Core in the Central Area of Singapore. It was first built in 1824 as a fish market on the waterfront serving the people of early colonial Singapore and rebuilt in 1838. It was then relocated and rebuilt at the present location in 1894. It is currently a food court with stalls selling a variety of local cuisine. The market remains one of the oldest Victorian structures in South-East Asia and one of the first structures built in pre-fabricated cast iron in Asia. It is also the only remaining market left that served the residents in the central district of early Singapore.

CapitaGreen, also known as Market Street Tower, is an office tower located in Raffles Place, Singapore. The building was designed by Toyo Ito and completed in 2014. With a height of 245 m (804 ft), it is one of the tallest skyscrapers in Singapore.

One Raffles Quay (Chinese: 莱佛士码头一号) is an office building complex located at Raffles Place, the central business district of Singapore. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox, One Raffles Quay (ORQ) consists of the 50-storey North Tower and the 29-storey South Tower, totalling about 1.3 million square feet of office space. The building was purpose-built for banking and financial corporations in August 2006. ORQ is home to international banks such as Barclays Capital, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank AG, Societe Generale Private Banking and UBS, as well as professional services firms Thomson Reuters and Ernst & Young and QBE Insurance. It also has amenities and is directly linked to Raffles Place MRT station via a Retail Link, and can be accessed from Downtown MRT station via underground link too.

Marina Bay Suites is a condominium located in Marina Bay, Singapore. It is one of six towers of the Marina Bay Financial Centre. It was developed by Keppel Land, Cheung Kong Holdings and Hongkong Land. It stands at 227 metres (745 ft), with 66 floors, making it Singapore's 14th tallest tower. It consists of 108 three-bedroom units (1,572 square feet (146.0 m2) to 1,604 square feet (149.0 m2)), 110 four-bedroom units (2,045 square feet (190.0 m2) to 2,695 square feet (250.4 m2)), and three penthouses (4,682 square feet (435.0 m2) to 8,181 square feet (760.0 m2)). It is expected to be completed on 31 July 2017.In the early pre-dawn hours of 14 January 2014, a fire broke out on the 65th floor's service lift lobby. Two security officers' charred bodies were found in the midst of renovation material. Other residents had evacuated the building and were unharmed.

Republic Plaza is a skyscraper in Downtown Core, Singapore. It formerly shared the title of "tallest building" with the OUB Centre and UOB Plaza One, until the completion of Tanjong Pagar Centre in 2016. At a height of 280 meters, it was officially opened on 18 January 1998 and incorporates earthquake proof features despite the city being relatively far from earthquake zones.Designed by Kisho Kurokawa, the building was constructed by Shimizu Corporation. The building is owned and operated by City Developments Limited.

One Marina Boulevard, sometimes called NTUC Centre, is a 32-storey, 110 m (360 ft) skyscraper at 1 Marina Boulevard, in the zone of Raffles Place and Marina Bay, in the central business district of Singapore. The building is near other skyscrapers, such as One Raffles Quay, The Sail @ Marina Bay and Ocean Building, all of which are around 100 metres away. It has a direct link to Raffles Place MRT station via an air-conditioned underground mall.The building is a Grade A office building, and its basement contains retail space. It sits on a land parcel of approximately 11,366.9 square metres. The gross floor area is 48,302 square metres. There is a total of 39,000 square metres of office space.The site on which the development sits was the first opened up for development in the new downtown, Marina Bay, after the Singapore Labour Foundation Management Services was allocated the site by the government. The National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) occupies floors 11 to 14 in the building. In 2005, One Marina Boulevard received a Certificate of Merit in the Best Buildable Design Awards, under the Commercial and Office Buildings Category.

The Sail @ Marina Bay is a waterfront lifestyle condominium located in the Marina Bay area in Singapore. It was completed in 2008. The first tenants have moved into Central Park Tower in July 2008. Residents moved into Marina Bay Tower a few weeks later. The structure of The Sail is 245 m (804 ft) with 70 storeys and is one of Singapore's tallest condominia/apartment buildings. This development offers panoramic city view of Marina Bay and the sea. It is close to some of Singapore's famous landmarks such as Suntec City, Marina Bay Sands, Esplanade, Telok Ayer Market and the Singapore River. The Downtown MRT station is built a few meters to the West of the building. The building was erected on reclaimed land, and the Central Linear Park is built on the South Side next to the building.

One Shenton Way is a high end real estate redevelopment project with 341 apartments along Shenton Way in the Tanjong Pagar area of Singapore. It consists of two towers, the tallest of which is 50 stories. It was completed in 2011 and is notable for its two tower construction. Two sides of each tower is clad in gold and two sides in blue glass panels. The first floor is retail space and includes a convenience store, a wine bar, cafes and award winning restaurants. The car park has 383 lots and is available to both residents and non residents at competitive rates. New facilities were added over the years catered to families and long term residents. One Shenton is the only high rise building in Singapore that is fitted with biometric entrance access at all entry points, increasing safety and eliminating the need for residents to carry access cards.

The Samsung Hub, formerly 3 Church Street, is a skyscraper located in the central business district of Singapore. Located at 3 Church Street, it is situated just next to the Prudential Tower. It is a 30-storey office building development, which includes a 6-storey podium block on a 35,000 m2 (380,000 sq ft) plot of land. The development is a freehold Grade A office tower.

SGX Centre is a twin tower high-rise complex in the city of Singapore. The development consists of two 187 m (614 ft) skyscrapers, located in Shenton Way. The two towers are named SGX Centre One and SGX Centre Two, and are situated together on an elongated, rectangular site. The towers house the Singapore Exchange Centre. A unique feature of the development is that it borders the existing business district, and serves as a gateway to the new downtown at Marina South.

Telok Ayer MRT station is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Downtown line (DTL). Situated in Outram, Singapore, the station serves various offices and commercial developments around the junction of Cross Street and Telok Ayer Street. The station is operated by SBS Transit. First announced as Cross Street MRT station in 2005 as part of the Circle line's Downtown extension, constructing the station required diverting the traffic on Cross Street to a temporary viaduct while building the DTL tunnels above the operational East West line tunnels. The station, which opened in 2013 along with the DTL Stage 1 stations, features an Art-in-Transit artwork Charm of Bay by Lim Shing Ee.
