The Canal de Savières (French: [kanal də savjɛʁ]) is a canal in eastern France. It joins the Lac du Bourget to the Rhône at Chanaz. It is 4.5 km (2.8 mi) long with one lock. It was a natural watercourse until canalised in the 19th century.

Culoz station (French: Gare de Culoz) is a French railway station located in commune of Culoz, Ain department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region. It is located at kilometric point (KP) 101.355 on the Lyon–Geneva railway. The station is equally the origin of Culoz–Modane railway. The station was put into service in 1857 by the Compagnie du chemin de fer de Lyon à Genève. As of 2020, the station is owned and operated by the SNCF and served by TER Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes trains.

Culoz-Béon (French pronunciation: [kyloz beɔ̃]) is a commune nouvelle in the Ain department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. It is the result of the merger, on 1 January 2023, of the former communes of Béon and Culoz.

Conjux (French: [kɔ̃ʒy]) is a commune in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in southeastern France. Since January 2017, the commune has formed part of the conurbation of Grand Lac, following the fusion of the former Communauté de communes de Chautagne into this larger agglomeration. At 175 ha, the smallest commune in the region of Chautagne, Conjux extends for 5 km along the northwestern coastline of Lac du Bourget; it is bounded to the north by the Canal de Savières and backed by Mount Landard to the west. The commune of Conjux includes the hamlets of La Chatière, Portout and Semelas. Reflecting its mixed role as a residential and recreational location, 42% of its residential buildings are counted as secondary residences.

Culoz (French pronunciation: [kyloz] or [kylo]) is a former commune in the Ain department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region of France. On 1 January 2023, it was merged into the new commune of Culoz-Béon.

Le Marais de Lavours is a French nature reserve of 474 hectares (1,170 acres), it spans the communes of Culoz, Béon, Ceyzérieu, Flaxieu and Pollieu; in Ain, southeastern France. The reserve was created on 22 March 1984.
