Salins-les-Thermes

Salins-Fontaine (French pronunciation: [salɛ̃ fɔ̃tɛn]) is a commune in the Savoie department of southeastern France. Established on 1 January 2016, it consists of the former communes of Salins-les-Thermes and Fontaine-le-Puits.

The Archdiocese of Tarentaise (Latin: Tarantasiensis) was a Roman Catholic diocese and archdiocese in France, with its see in Moûtiers, in the Tarentaise Valley in Savoie. It was established as a diocese in the 5th century, elevated to archdiocese in 794, and disbanded in 1801. The diocese of Tarentaise was again formed in 1825, and united with the diocese of Chambéry and diocese of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne to form the Archdiocese of Chambéry, Maurienne and Tarentaise in 1966.

Villarlurin (French pronunciation: [vilaʁlyʁɛ̃]; Arpitan: Vlolèrin) is a former commune in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. On 1 January 2016, it was merged into the new commune of Les Belleville.

Moûtiers Cathedral (French: Cathédrale Saint-Pierre de Moûtiers) is a Roman Catholic church in Moûtiers en Tarentaise, France. The cathedral is a national monument, and was formerly the seat of the Archdiocese of Tarentaise, which was abolished under the Concordat of 1801. It was afterwards the seat of the re-formed Bishopric of Tarentaise from 1825 until 1966, when the diocese of Tarentaise, Diocese of Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne and the Archdiocese of Chambéry were amalgamated to form the present Archdiocese of Chambéry, Maurienne and Tarentaise.

Moûtiers-Salins-Brides-les-Bains station is a railway station in the Savoie department of Southeastern France. The station, which is located in the town of Moûtiers, is served by three major high-speed services: the TGV and Eurostar. It is the principal gateway point for the Les Trois Vallées ski resorts if travelling by train. Passengers alight at this station and catch the frequent bus services to the various Les Trois Vallées resorts. Juxtaposed controls were in operation in the station for Eurostar passengers travelling to the UK. They cleared exit checks from the Schengen Area (carried out by Customs officers) as well as UK entry checks (conducted by the UK Border Force) in the station before boarding their train.

Moûtiers (French pronunciation: [mutje]; Arpitan: Motiérs), historically also called Tarentaise, is a commune in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in Southeastern France. Moûtiers is the main access point to the Les Trois Vallées ski region in the French Alps. Its railway station, although not on a high-speed rail line, is consequently a seasonally important destination for TGV services from Lyon, Paris and elsewhere, including abroad.

The canton of Moûtiers is an administrative division of the Savoie department, southeastern France. Its borders were modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Moûtiers. It consists of the following communes:

Fontaine-le-Puits (French pronunciation: [fɔ̃tɛn lə pɥi]; Arpitan: Fontâne) is a former commune in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. On 1 January 2016, it was merged into the new commune of Salins-Fontaine.

La Coche Power Station (French: Centrale de la Coche), also known as Sainte-Hélène la Coche, is a hydroelectric power plant in the commune of Aigueblanche (near Moûtiers), in Savoie, France. It is one of the six main pumped-storage hydropower plants in France.

Feissons-sur-Salins is a commune in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France.

Grand-Aigueblanche (French pronunciation: [ɡʁɑ̃.t‿ɛɡblɑ̃ʃ]) is a commune in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. It was established on 1 January 2019 by merger of the former communes of Aigueblanche (the seat), Le Bois and Saint-Oyen.

Aigueblanche (French pronunciation: [ɛɡblɑ̃ʃ]; Arpitan: Èguablantse) is a former commune in the Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region in south-eastern France. On 1 January 2019, it was merged into the new commune Grand-Aigueblanche.
