Náměstí Republiky (Republic Square) is a city square in Prague, Czech Republic, lying at the boundary of the Old Town and New Town. On the square, or in the very near vicinity, are these significant buildings: Kotva Department Store, Municipal House, Powder Tower, Czech National Bank and Palladium shopping mall. From the square leads Na příkopě street, the most expensive street among the all states of the V4, connecting it with the Wenceslas Square.

Palladium is a shopping mall located in the centre of Prague in the Czech Republic. It opened in 2007. The mall contains 170 shops and 30 restaurants, with a retail area of 39,000 square metres (420,000 sq ft). There is also designated office space in the building totalling 19,500 square metres (210,000 sq ft). It is one of the biggest shopping centres in the Czech Republic. It is directly opposite another shopping centre, Kotva Department Store.

Náměstí Republiky (Czech pronunciation: [ˈnaːmɲɛsciː ˈrɛpublɪkɪ]) is a Prague Metro station on Line B in the Prague 1 district. Its two exits serve the Republic Square (Náměstí Republiky) area and the Masaryk suburban railway terminal (Praha Masarykovo nádraží) respectively. The station was opened on 2 November 1985, as part of the inaugural section of Line B between Sokolovská and Smíchovské nádraží.

Libri Prohibiti is a nonprofit, private, independent, archival research library located in Prague, Czech Republic that collects samizdat and exile literature. The organization is maintained and run by Jiří Gruntorád and includes more than 29,200 monographs and periodicals, about 2,900 reference resources, and over 5,000 audiovisual materials.

The Czech National Bank, (Czech: Česká národní banka, ČNB) is the central bank and financial market supervisor in the Czech Republic with its headquarters in Prague, and a member of the European System of Central Banks. The Bank's governor is Jiří Rusnok. In accordance with its primary objective, the CNB sets monetary policy, issues banknotes and coins and manages the circulation of the Czech koruna, the payment system and settlement between banks. It also performs supervision of the banking sector, the capital market, the insurance industry, pension funds, credit unions and electronic money institutions, as well as foreign exchange supervision.

Municipal House (Czech: Obecní dům) is a civic building that houses Smetana Hall, a celebrated concert venue, in Prague. It is located on Náměstí Republiky next to the Powder Gate in the center of the city.

The Embassy of the Philippines in Prague is the diplomatic mission of the Republic of the Philippines to the Czech Republic. Opened in 1997, it is located in the New Town quarter of central Prague, near the Jubilee Synagogue and the city's main railway station.

The Powder Tower or Powder Gate (Czech: Prašná brána) is a Gothic tower in Prague, Czech Republic. It is one of the original city gates. It separates the Old Town from the New Town.

The Czech Radioactive Waste Repository Authority (Czech: Správa úložišť radioaktivních odpadů, abbreviation SÚRAO) was established on 1 June 1997 as a state organisation established by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. In 2001, SÚRAO assumed the status of a government agency. The Authority is headed by its managing director, Dr. Jiří Slovák (since 2014). The governing body of SÚRAO consists of its Board which is made up of representatives from the government, radioactive waste producers and the general public. The managing director and members of the Board of SÚRAO are directly appointed by the Minister of Industry and Trade.

Praha Masarykovo nádraží (Prague Masaryk railway station) is a terminal railway station located in the New Town area of Prague, near Republic Square (náměstí Republiky). It was the first railway station in the city to serve steam trains, and the second oldest railway station in Prague, Czech Republic (the first is Praha-Dejvice, formerly Bruska on the Lány Horse-drawn Railway). The station was designed by Antonín Jüngling and came into service in 1845. During the Prague uprising against German occupation in 1945, the station was captured by the Waffen-SS on 8 May and 53 surrendered resistance fighters and noncombatants were massacred.Nowadays the station only serves regional and suburban trains, because the larger Praha hlavní nádraží does not have enough capacity. In 2010 it served 48,838 trains and 9.6 million passengers. The station is currently being reconstructed, and will become the terminus of the planned railway connection with Václav Havel Airport Prague.

Hotel Paris Prague (Czech: Hotel Paříž Praha) is a 5-star luxury hotel in Prague, Czech Republic. It is located in the centre of Prague in Old Town. It was built in 1904 according to plans of Jan Vejrych. Its architectural style is a mixture of Art Nouveau and Gothic Revival. It featured as a location in Bohumil Hrabal's book I Served the King of England. In 1984 it was declared as a historical monument.

Kotva Department Store is a department store in Prague at the Náměstí Republiky (Republic Square). Its name, meaning anchor in English, comes from an older neighboring building. It has been a member of the International Association of Department Stores from 1993 to 2000.
