Wykeham House School is a former independent day school for girls and boys in market town of Fareham, Hampshire in South East England. Until its closure Wykeham House School was the only school in the Borough of Fareham offering specialised single sex education for both girls and boys. In October 2015 the proprietors of neighbouring Boundary Oak School disclosed to parents that they were in discussion with Wykeham House School for a possible acquisition or merger. In response, Wykeham House School invited parents of Wykeham House pupils to an urgent meeting on 15 October 2015 at which the existence of confidential merger discussions was confirmed. A subsequent reduction in pupil numbers at Wykeham House led to Wykeham House School formally announcing its closure on 12 November 2015. The School closed at the end of Autumn Term on 16 December 2015. Administrators were appointed on 11 January 2016.

Fareham Common is a suburb and small village near Fareham, Hampshire. The village lies 1.3 miles (2.8 km) north from the town of Fareham. The suburb is only made up of a few industrial estates. It is north of the M27 motorway Nearest villages are Knowle and Wickham.

The borough covers much of the semi-urban area between the cities of Southampton and Portsmouth, and is part of the South Hampshire conurbation. The neighbouring districts are Eastleigh, Winchester, Portsmouth and Gosport. The district's southern boundary is the coast of the Solent.

Ashcroft Arts Centre is a performing arts venue in Fareham, Hampshire. It is named after Dame Peggy Ashcroft, and opened by her in 1989, after being refurbished from its original use as a school. Since 2014, the arts centre has been operated by Hampshire Cultural Trust.

Solent Arena ( SOH-lənt) was an indoor arena, in Fareham, Hampshire. It was located alongside River Wallington by the M27 motorway.

Fareham Shopping Centre is at the heart of the centre of the medium-sized Hampshire town of Fareham. Built in two phases between 1975 and 1981, the centre contains many well known retailers and is quite large for a town of its size. The shopping centre is part of a wider scheme of buildings in the town centre that were constructed around the same time.

The Church of the Sacred Heart is the Roman Catholic parish church of the town of Fareham in Hampshire, southern England. It opened in 1878 on a centrally located site, replacing a converted shed which had been used for worship since 1873. John Crawley, a London-based architect whose other nearby Catholic churches include Portsmouth's Catholic cathedral and St Joseph's Church, Havant, was responsible for the design—a "small and well-detailed essay" in flint and brick, in the Decorated Gothic Revival style. The parish has a second church in an outer part of Fareham, but another in the nearby village of Portchester has closed and has been demolished.

Cams Hall at Fareham, Hampshire, United Kingdom, is a Palladian mansion set in parkland overlooking Portsmouth Harbour. The land at Cams Hall was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 and a manor house was recorded here as far back as the 13th century. The current building, designed by the architect Jacob Leroux, was constructed of Portland stone and yellow bricks around 1770. Later adaptations to the house have been attributed to the famous Georgian architects the Adam Brothers. The building fell into disrepair in the 1950s and was listed as a derelict building in 1989 but was restored in the 1990s.

Westbury Manor Museum is the main town centre museum located at 84 West Street, Fareham, Hampshire, England. It features a variety of exhibits on local history, such as the use of Fareham red bricks in the construction of the Royal Albert Hall. It also has a small café and gift shop. The museum is housed in an 18th-century Grade II* listed building with formal Victorian style gardens to the rear, formerly used as the offices of Fareham Urban District from 1934 to 1976. Westbury Manor Museum opened in 1990.In 2014 ownership of the museum was transferred to the Hampshire Cultural Trust as part of a larger transfer of museums from Hampshire County Council and Winchester City Council.

Fareham ( FAIR-əm) is a market town at the north-west tip of Portsmouth Harbour, between the cities of Portsmouth and Southampton in south east Hampshire, England. It gives its name to the Borough of Fareham. It was historically an important manufacturer of bricks, used to build the Royal Albert Hall, and grower of strawberries and other seasonal fruits.

Fareham Academy is a medium-sized mixed secondary school, with five tiers of entry (ages 11–16), located in St Anne's Grove in Fareham, England. Along with The Henry Cort Community College and Cams Hill School, it is one of the three main state schools which serve the town of Fareham. The school was called Neville Lovett Learning Community High School until 2013. Fareham Academy is a Converter Academy, which means that it voluntarily converted in 2013 to allow it to manage its own finances and have more independence in the curriculum that it delivers. In 2016, the Attainment 8 Score for the Academy was 51.7, with a Hampshire average of 51.1 and a National average of 48.5. The Progress 8 score of 0.3 puts the Academy in the top 25% of schools in the country.

Cams Hill School is a medium-sized mixed secondary school for ages 11–16, located in Shearwater Avenue in Fareham, England. Along with The Henry Cort Community College and Fareham Academy, it is one of the three main state schools which serve the town of Fareham, Hampshire. The school attracted national media attention in 2002, when then-headteacher David Wilmot recruited teachers at a nearby Sainsbury's supermarket. He told The Daily Telegraph that he had struggled to recruit and retain newly qualified teachers. The recruitment crisis was highlighted as a "major concern" in an OFSTED report later that year. The school had an OFSTED inspection in 2007 and was reported as a "good school". During an additional inspection in music during October 2008, the school was graded "good" for music provision. Later, in 2011, the school was rated "outstanding" by OFSTED and subsequently converted to an academy. In 2019, the school was rated as "good" overall by OFSTED.In 2018, a teacher at the school was banned from the profession after sending shirtless photos of himself to a pupil he was teaching at the time.
