Hải Châu district

Thanh Khê is a Da Nang urban district in Vietnam's South Central Coast area. The district has a total size of 9 km2 and a population of 160,953 people in 2003. The district capital lies at Xuân Hà ward. There are ten wards (phường) in the district: An Khê Chính Gián Tam Thuận Tân Chính Thạc Gián Hòa Khê Xuân Hà Vĩnh Trung Thanh Khê Đông Thanh Khê Tây

Duy Tân University (Vietnamese: Trường Đại học Duy Tân) is a private research university in Da Nang, Vietnam. The name derives from the Modernisation Movement, or phong trào Duy Tân, of 1906–1908. In 2019, the school was awarded the "First Class Labor Medal" ("Huân chương Lao động hạng Nhất").Duy Tân University cooperates with many international universities and in 2023/2024 appears in globally/internationally university rankings as the highest ranked Vietnamese university . However, it was also involved with a number of scandals, including author fraud, unfair admission practices, employment of workers, and finances.

Thanh Khê station is a railway station on the North–South railway (Reunification Express) in Vietnam. It serves the district of Thanh Khê, on the outskirts of Đà Nẵng.

Da Nang or Danang ( dah, də NANG, NAHNG; Vietnamese: Đà Nẵng, [ʔɗaː˨˩ naŋ˦ˀ˥] ) is a class-1 municipality and the fifth-largest city in Vietnam by municipal population. It lies on the coast of the East Sea of Vietnam at the mouth of the Hàn River, and is one of Vietnam's most important port cities. As one of the country's five direct-controlled municipalities, it falls under the administration of the central government. The city was known as Cửa Hàn during early Đại Việt settlement, and as Tourane (or Turon) during French colonial rule. Before 1997, the city was part of Quang Nam - Da Nang Province. On 1 January 1997, Da Nang was separated from Quảng Nam Province to become one of four centrally controlled municipalities in Vietnam. Da Nang is designated as a first class city, and has a higher urbanization ratio than any of Vietnam's other provinces or centrally governed cities.Da Nang is the commercial and educational center of Central Vietnam and is the largest city in the region. It has a well-sheltered, easily accessible port, and its location on National Route 1 and the North–South Railway makes it a transport hub. It is within 100 km (62 mi) of several UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including the Imperial City of Huế, the Old Town of Hội An, and the Mỹ Sơn ruins. Da Nang has a Human Development Index of 0.779 (high), ranking fifth among all municipalities and provinces of Vietnam.

Da Nang Air Base (Vietnamese: Căn cứ không quân Đà Nẵng) (1930s–1975) (also known as Da Nang Airfield, Tourane Airfield or Tourane Air Base) was a French Air Force and later Republic of Vietnam Air Force (RVNAF) facility located in the city of Da Nang, Vietnam. During the Vietnam War (1959–1975), it was a major base with United States Army, United States Air Force (USAF), and United States Marine Corps (USMC) units stationed there. Air Vietnam also used the facility from 1951 to 1975 for civilian domestic and international flights within Southeast Asia.

Đà Nẵng station is one of the main railway stations on the North–South Railway (Reunification Express) in Vietnam and one of the five largest stations in Vietnam. It serves the city of Đà Nẵng. Đà Nẵng station is one of the three largest train stations of Vietnam serving daily trains from the north to the south and vice versa that stop for long enough for a relatively large number of passengers to get on or off. The facilities of Đà Nẵng station are relatively modern, secure and hygienic. Besides North–South routes, the station serves provincial routes such as to Huế, Quảng Bình, Vinh, Quy Nhon, and Ho Chi Minh City. Passengers have diverse options with different classes to any of these stations: odd numbers (E1, S1, S3, S5, S7 and SD1) go from the north to the south coded, even numbers (E2, S2, S4, S6 and S8) go from the south to the north.

Đà Nẵng Women's Hospital is the third largest hospital in the Vietnamese city of Đà Nẵng, behind Đà Nẵng Hospital, and Đà Nẵng C Hospital.

Chi Lăng Stadium (Vietnamese: Sân vận động Chi Lăng) was a multi-purpose stadium in Đà Nẵng, Vietnam. Built on the banks of the Hàn River in 1954, the stadium played host to a number of memorable games, most notably Vietnam's 3–2 win over China at the 2000 AFC U-17 Championship, featuring goals from future star Phạm Văn Quyến.The stadium was also used for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2016 Asian Beach Games. The stadium was the home stadium of SHB Đà Nẵng of the V-League until 2016, when the club moved to the Hòa Xuân Stadium. The stadium was demolished in early 2018 to make way for two 33-story apartment complexes.

Đà Nẵng Hospital (Vietnamese: Bệnh viện Đà Nẵng) is the largest hospital in the city of Đà Nẵng, Vietnam. It was established prior to 1945 as the Hôpital de Danang.

Đà Nẵng C Hospital is the second-largest public hospital in the Vietnamese city of Đà Nẵng, after Đà Nẵng Hospital. It is located at 122 Hai Phong Street.

The Zone 5 Military Museum (Bao Tang Khu 5) is a military museum located at 3 Duy Tân, Da Nang, Vietnam. It covers all Vietnamese resistance to foreign occupation from the Chinese occupation, the First Indochina War with the French, the Vietnam War and the current standoff with China over the Spratly Islands and the Paracel Islands. The Museum's opening hours are from 07:30 to 10:30 and from 13:30 to 16:30 daily except Monday. Admission is free for Vietnamese and VND 60,000 for non-Vietnamese, plus VND 10,000 to take photos.

The University of Danang (Vietnamese: Đại học Đà Nẵng) is a regional multi-disciplinary university system in Central Vietnam.
