Frøyland og Orstad Church (Norwegian: Frøyland og Orstad kyrkje) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Klepp Municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the village of Orstad. It is the church for the Frøyland og Orstad parish which is part of the Jæren prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Stavanger. This parish is unique in Norway since it includes parts of two municipalities: Klepp and Time, encompassing the whole Kvernaland area. The white, concrete church was built in a rectangular style in 2008 using designs by the architects René de Groth, Erik Thesen, and Kolbjørn Jensen who are from the firm LINK signatur. The church seats about 630 people.The church was consecrated on 14 December 2008. The church cost 62.5 million kr. The church is the first church in the Church of Norway to have a baptismal pool in addition to a baptismal font.

Klepp Station (Norwegian: Klepp stasjon) is a railway station in the municipality of Klepp in Rogaland county, Norway. The station is located in the village of Klepp stasjon, about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) east of the municipal centre of Kleppe. The station on the Sørlandet Line. The station is served by the Jæren Commuter Rail between Stavanger and Egersund. The station is 24.84 kilometers (15.43 mi) south of the city of Stavanger.

Klepp Stasjon is a village in Klepp municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located on the shore of the lake Frøylandsvatnet, about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) east of the village of Kleppe and about 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) southwest of the village of Orstad. The larger Kvernaland area is an amalgamation of villages in Rogaland county, Norway. The village is located along the north end of the lake Frøylandsvatnet. The village is located in both the municipalities of Klepp and Time (and a very small part extends into Sandnes municipality as well). The eastern part of the village (in Klepp) is also known as Orstad and the western part of the village (in Time) is known as Frøyland or simply as Kvernaland. The village of Klepp stasjon lies just southwest of the village on the west side of the lake and the small village of Foss Eikjeland lies just north of the village, along the river Figgjo.The 4.27-square-kilometre (1,060-acre) village has a population (2019) of 7,358 which gives the village a population density of 1,723 inhabitants per square kilometre (4,460/sq mi). About 2.58-square-kilometre (640-acre) of the village is located in Klepp and that part has 4,058 residents. There are 3,267 residents in the 1.31-square-kilometre (320-acre) part located in Time. There is also a very small part of Kvernaland (0.38 square kilometres or 94 acres) located in Sandnes municipality with 33 residents.Kvernaland is home to several factories, mainly producing equipment for agriculture. The largest is Kverneland Group, the world's largest manufacturer of ploughing and agricultural equipment. The Museum of the municipality of Time (Time Bygdemuseum) is also located in Kvernaland. Their football club is called Frøyland IL. The Øksnevadporten Station, located on the Jæren railway line, is located in Orstad. Kvernaland is a parish in the Church of Norway. It is unique in Norway in that the parish crosses municipal boundaries. The Frøyland og Orstad Church is located in Orstad, but it serves the whole village.

Foss-Eikeland or Foss Eikjeland is a village in the western part of the large Sandnes municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. The village lies just south of the city of Sandnes, just north of the river Figgjoelva and the municipal border. The neighboring village of Orstad (in Klepp municipality) lies to the south, across the river. The Ålgård Line previously had a station at Foss-Eikeland, but the railway line is currently closed, but not abandoned.

Ganddal is a borough of the city of Sandnes in the west part of the large municipality of Sandnes in Rogaland county, Norway. The 12.1-square-kilometre (4.7 sq mi) borough is located in the southwest part of the municipality. Ganddal has a population (2016) of 7,318.It has one of the city's largest industrial areas and the Jæren Line railroad runs through the area, which is served by the commuter and goods station, Ganddal Station. The Norwegian National Road 44 runs through Ganddal's west side, providing easy access to central Sandnes. Ganddal is known for Stokkelandsvatnet which is a small lake in the centre of Ganddal. Sports clubs include Ganddal IL as well as the powerlifting and strongman club Ganddal AK. Ganddal has four schools. Ganddal skole and Sørbø skole which are primary schools. Sandnes Friskole is a private school from 1st to 10th grade and is organized by Familiekirken and Betel Hommersåk. Lundehaugen ungdomskole is a school from 8th to 10th grade.

Ganddal Station (Norwegian: Ganddal stasjon) is a railway station in the western part of the municipality of Sandnes in Rogaland county, Norway. The station is located just south of the centre of the city of Sandnes in the Ganddal borough. It sits along the Sørlandet Line with long-distance service to Stavanger to the north and Kristiansand to the southeast. The station is also served by the Jæren Commuter Rail with local service between Stavanger and Egersund. The station is 18.49 kilometers (11.49 mi) south of Stavanger. The station is simply a shelter and it has no bathrooms, food services, or ticket counters.

Frøylandsvatnet is a lake in Rogaland county, Norway. The 4.83-square-kilometre (1.86 sq mi) lake is located in the district of Jæren. It forms part of the municipal boundary line between Klepp and Time. The lake is quite shallow, with an average depth of 5.5 metres (18 ft). The town of Bryne is located at the south end of the lake. The villages of Klepp stasjon, Orstad, and Kvernaland are all located around the northern end of the lake. The origin of the name is from the Norse god Frey.

Lundehaugen (Norwegian: Lundehaugen videregående skole) was an upper secondary school in the municipality of Sandnes, Norway. The school offered several majors, mainly music, dance and drama. The school had close links with Forus Upper Secondary School. It also offered majors in media and communication and sales/services. Since the fall of 2010, Lundehaugen is no longer an upper secondary school but rather a middle school with grades 8th-10th, with higher education moving to the new Vågen Upper Secondary School.

Bogafjell Church (Norwegian: Bogafjell kirke) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in the western part of the large Sandnes municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the borough of Bogafjell, just south of the centre of the city of Sandnes. It is the church for the Bogafjell parish which is part of the Sandnes prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Stavanger. The gray, concrete church was built in a rectangular design in 2012 using designs by the architect Grete Gudmestad Krogedal from the company Rambøll Arkitektur. The 2,500-square-metre (27,000 sq ft) church seats about 400 people. The church was consecrated on 4 March 2012.

Julebygda Chapel (Norwegian: Julebygda kapell) is a parish church of the Church of Norway in the large Sandnes municipality in Rogaland county, Norway. It is located in the borough of Malmheim og Soma in the western part of city of Sandnes which lies in the far western part of the municipality. It is one of the two churches for the Gand parish which is part of the Sandnes prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Stavanger. The stone church was constructed in a long church design in 1957 using designs by the architect Valdemar Scheel Hansteen. The church seats about 200 people.

Malmheim og Soma is a borough of the city of Sandnes in the west part of the large municipality of Sandnes in Rogaland county, Norway. The 20-square-kilometre (7.7 sq mi) borough sits in the western part of the municipality and it has a population of 1,597. It was created in 2011 when the old boroughs of Malmheim and Soma were merged. The Julabygda Chapel is located in the small village of Julebygda in this borough.
