The Lý Bát Đế Temple or Đô Temple (Vietnamese: Đền Lý Bát Đế [ʔɗen˨˩ li˧˦ ʔɓaːt̚˧˦ ʔɗe˧˦] or Đền Đô [ʔɗen˨˩ ʔɗo˧˧]), formal Buddhist name Cổ Pháp Điện, is a temple near Hanoi of which the central section was built in 1028 on the death of Lý Thái Tổ (李太祖), and the complex enlarged as seven of his descendant Lý dynasty emperors were also buried at the shrine – Lý Bát Đế means "Eight Lý Emperors." Traditionally, the shrine serves for ancestor worship of the eight emperors. It is located in Đình Bảng Commune, Từ Sơn District, in the Red River Delta province of Bắc Ninh. Another national monument, Đình Bảng communal house, is adjacent.

Đình Bảng communal hall is one of the largest village communal houses in Vietnam. It is located in Đình Bảng village, Từ Sơn district, in Bắc Ninh Province of the Red River Delta, 17 km from the nation's capital, Hanoi. The construction started in 1700 and was completed 36 years later. Đình Bảng communal house is used for the worshiping of Cao Sơn Đại vương (Mountain spirit), Thủy Bá Đại vương (Water spirit), and Bạch Lệ Đại vương (God of agriculture), together with the six individuals who rebuilt Đình Bảng village in the 15th century after it was devastated during the Ming occupation (1408-1428). The hall also functions as the village meeting hall and the seat of the local government office.

Research Institute for Aquaculture No 1, or RIA1, is a government organization under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development Vietnam. RIA1 is responsible for carrying out basic and applied research programs for inland, coastal, and marine aquaculture, including involvement in planning and development activities. RIA1 is now considered a national multifunction institute dealing with research, education, and extension in aquaculture and aquatic resources management. The Institute also plays an advisory role for many other aquaculture development projects.RIA1 was established in 1963 initially as a freshwater fish research centre.

Long Biên is an urban district (quận) of Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam. The district currently has 14 wards, covering a total area of 59.82 square kilometers. As of 2019, there were 322,549 people residing in the district, the population density is 5,400 inhabitants per square kilometer. Long Biên was incorporated as an urban district in 2003 from the northwestern portion of Gia Lâm district adjacent to the city center. The district is named for the formerly separate settlement of Long Biên (Chinese: Longbian), which served as the capital of Jiaozhou and Jiaozhi in imperial China and as the capital of Lý Bí's kingdom of Vạn Xuân. It is Hanoi's only urban district on the east side of the Red River. Several other locations in the city that have the name "Long Biên" such as Long Biên Railway Station, Long Biên Bus Terminal and Long Biên Market, however, are located on the western end of the Long Biên bridge in Hoàn Kiếm and Ba Đình districts.

Cổ Loa Citadel (Vietnamese: Thành Cổ Loa) is an important fortified settlement and archaeological site in present-day Hanoi's Đông Anh district, roughly 17 kilometers north of present-day Hanoi, in the upper plain north of the Red River. Various relics of the Bronze Age Phùng Nguyên culture and Đông Sơn culture have been found in Cổ Loa, although it was later established as the capital of Âu Lạc Kingdom during the 3rd century BCE (about 257 BCE). It might be the first political center of the Vietnamese civilization. The settlement’s concentric walls resemble a snail’s shell; it had an outer embankment covering 600 hectares.

Gia Lâm is the easternmost urban district (quận) of Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam. Prior to 2003, the district covered the entire area of Long Biên district, which included Long Biên Bridge, Gia Lâm Airport, Gia Lâm railway station, Gia Lâm bus station and the headquarters of Vietnam Airlines. On 22 September 2023, the Hanoi People Committee approved Gia Lam to become the next urban district of Hanoi.

Gia Lâm station is a railway station in Vietnam, in the north eastern Long Biên District of Hanoi. It serves the city of Hanoi. It is the terminus of the standard-gauge railway linking Vietnam to China, known as the Hanoi–Đồng Đăng railway. The daily train to Nanning (610 km) departs from this station instead of the main Hanoi railway station, which is served only by metre gauge tracks, as does the Beijing–Nanning–Hanoi through train.

The Lycée français Alexandre Yersin (LFAY) is a French international school in Long Bien District, Hanoi, Vietnam. The school is under the purview of the Agency for French Education Abroad (Agence pour l'enseignement français à l'étranger (AEFE)), which manages all French state schools outside France. Đông Anh station is a railway station in Vietnam. It serves the Đông Anh district of Hanoi. The station was the site of a military hospital for the Lính tập soldiers during the French colonial period.
