The Xiaodongying Mosque (simplified Chinese: 小东营清真寺; traditional Chinese: 小東營清真寺; pinyin: Xiǎodōngyíng Qīngzhēnsì) is a mosque in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, China.

The Dafo Temple (Chinese: 大佛寺; pinyin: Dàfó Sì; literally Grand Buddha Temple) is a Buddhist temple in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. Located in Yuexiu District, Dafo Temple is a grand temple with a history of more than one thousand years and was built by Emperor Liu Yan in the Southern Han dynasty (917–971). It has been praised as one of the "Five Largest Temples of Guangzhou" in history. Later it was destroyed and rebuilt many times. In the late Ming dynasty, the temple was declining day by day and was devastated by the war while Shang Kexi and Geng Jimao conquered Guangdong in 1649. During the reign of the Kangxi Emperor in 1663, the temple was rebuilt and expanded by Shang Kexi continuously. According to the national policy of free religious belief, the temple was approved by the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government to be restored as a Buddhist temple in 1981. Then Master Guangming, vice-president of the Guangzhou Buddhist Association, served as abbot; he tried to revitalize Dafo Temple and restore the style of the large temple. On August 9, 1993, Dafo Temple was put on the list as a Municipality Protected Historic Site by the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government.

Peasant Movement Institute Station (simplified Chinese: 农讲所站; traditional Chinese: 農講所站; Jyutping: nung4 gong2 so2 zaam6; Cantonese Yale: Nùhnggóngsó Jaahm) is a station of Line 1 of the Guangzhou Metro. It started operations on 28 June 1997. It is located at the underground of the junction of Zhongshan 4th Road and Dezheng Road in Yuexiu District. Its name is from nearby the former site of Guangzhou Peasant Movement Institute, an institute established by the Chinese Communist Party to train youngsters for the peasants' revolutionary movement.

It means 'Provincial Experimental (school)', which abbreviates Guangdong Experimental High School. If unspecified, Guangdong Experimental High School refers to the senior high campus in Fangcun.

Guangzhou Martyrs' Memorial Garden is a park located in Zhongshan 3rd Road, Guangzhou, Guangdong, China that commemorates the death of the Chinese Communist party in the Guangzhou Uprising against the Kuomintang on December 11, 1927.

People's Park (Chinese: 人民公园; pinyin: Rénmín Gōngyuán) is an urban public park in Yuexiu District in central Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong province in south China. Established in 1921, it is the first public park in the city, built on the site that had been the location of successive regional governments since the Sui dynasty (581–618 AD). Due to its central location, it is colloquially called Central Park (中央公园).

The Sun Yat-sen or Zhongshan Memorial Hall is an octagon-shaped building in Guangzhou, capital of China's Guangdong Province. The hall was designed by Lu Yanzhi and was built with funds raised by local and overseas Chinese people in memory of Sun Yat-sen. Construction work commenced in 1929 and completed in 1931. The hall is a large octagonal structure with a span of 71 metres (233 ft) without pillars, housing a large stage and seats 3,240 people.

Hongqiao Subdistrict (simplified Chinese: 洪桥街道; traditional Chinese: 洪橋街道; pinyin: Hóngqiáo Jiēdào; lit. 'great bridge') is a subdistrict of Yuexiu District in the heart of Guangzhou, located near important landmarks such as Zhenhai Tower and the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall. As of 2011, it has 11 residential communities (社区) under its administration.
