Old Town Farm is a historic poor farm building in Methuen, Massachusetts. The brick two story building was built in 1846, after Methuen lost its earlier poor farm due to the loss of part of its territory to newly founded Lawrence. The building is five bays wide and deep, with entries on the front and side; the front entrance is recessed with a fanlight and sidelights. The building has shed dormers that run much of the length of the roofline, and its end walls are topped by parapets and double chimneys, features not seen elsewhere in the town.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984; it is now a private residence.

Canobie Corkscrew was a steel sit-down roller coaster located at Canobie Lake Park amusement park in Salem, New Hampshire. Canobie Corkscrew is one of many Arrow Development Corkscrew models produced between 1975 and 1979. The coaster was removed in 2021.

Canobie Lake Park is an amusement park in Salem, New Hampshire, located about 31 miles (50 km) north of Boston. It was founded as a trolley park on the shore of Canobie Lake in 1902. Three local families currently run the park, which draws visitors from throughout the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions. Canobie Lake Park's age and history inspired author Stephen King to use rides and elements from the park in his Joyland novel. It is one of only thirteen trolley parks still operating in the United States as of 2021. The park originally featured botanical gardens, with few amusement rides. After the automobile became the most popular mode of travel in the United States, the trolley line serving the park was closed. Attendance in the park declined until it was purchased by Patrick J. Holland. He installed a wooden roller coaster named Yankee Cannonball in 1936, a ride which was designated as an ACE Roller Coaster Landmark by American Coaster Enthusiasts in 2013. The park recovered, and the Arrow Development designed Canobie Corkscrew was installed in 1987, after being relocated from the Old Chicago amusement park in Illinois, where it was named the Chicago Loop. Untamed, a Euro-Fighter coaster, is the only coaster with an inversion.

Canobie Lake is a 375-acre (1.52 km2) body of water located in Rockingham County in southern New Hampshire, United States, in the towns of Salem and Windham. It is approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) long, and on average 0.4 miles (0.64 km) wide, though two arms of the lake combine to produce a width of 1 mile (1.6 km) at the lake's center. Canobie Lake Park, an amusement park, is located on the lake's east shore. The lake is the water supply for the town of Salem, New Hampshire. Canobie Lake is predominantly spring-fed. Aside from the amusement park, the shores of the lake are primarily lined with houses. Water from the lake flows via Policy Brook to the Spicket River and thence to the Merrimack River in Lawrence, Massachusetts. The lake is classified as a warmwater fishery, with observed species including largemouth bass, smallmouth bass, chain pickerel, brown bullhead, black crappie, rainbow trout, brook trout, bluegill, and pumpkinseed.

Cobbetts Pond is a 302-acre (1.2 km2) water body located in Rockingham County in southern New Hampshire, United States, in the town of Windham. It is approximately 2 miles (3 km) long, and the shoreline forms the shape of an 8. The average depth is 33 feet (10 m), with a maximum depth of 50 ft (15 m).Cobbetts Pond is home to many different types of lakeside homes, ranging from seasonal cottages to year-round multimillion-dollar houses. These homes are all part of the Cobbett's Pond Village District. Located on the west edge of the pond is the Windham Town Beach, which is open to the public and has an enclosed swimming area. The area is supervised by a lifeguard. During the summer months, watersport shows, boat parades, and fireworks take place. There are no posted speed limits for boats, but there is a warden that occasionally patrols the pond by boat. The winter months are less busy on the pond, since most homes are only seasonal and fit to be used in warm weather. Ice fishing and skating are common activities during the winter. Cobbetts Pond is primarily a spring-fed body of water. Water from the pond flows via Golden Brook and Beaver Brook to the Merrimack River in Lowell, Massachusetts. The pond is classified as a warmwater fishery, with observed species including smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, chain pickerel, brown bullhead, and bluegill.

The Yankee Cannonball is a wooden out-and-back roller coaster built in 1930 at Lakewood Park and relocated in 1936 to Canobie Lake Park, Salem, New Hampshire.

The Mall at Rockingham Park is the largest shopping mall in the state of New Hampshire, with 1,024,171 square feet (95,148.6 m2) of floor space. The mall is located in the town of Salem, about 30 miles (48 km) north of Boston. The mall is adjacent to Interstate 93 and the former Rockingham Park race track in Salem, and was the state's third shopping mall to be built. The mall now hosts 144 stores. The mall features the traditional retailers Macy's, JCPenney, and Dick's Sporting Goods. The mall is managed by Simon Property Group, which owns 28.2% of it. As of March 2015, the mall was Simon's highest grossing center, with annual sales of $2,105 per square foot.Like the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua, the Mall at Rockingham Park is located close to the Massachusetts state line and draws many customers from that state. New Hampshire has no sales tax on most goods. The success of the Mall at Rockingham Park, which opened in August 1991, caused the Methuen Mall across the line in Methuen, Massachusetts, to close in 1997; it was replaced with The Loop, a "big box"-style center. The Mall at Rockingham Park also caused the adjacent (and older) Rockingham Mall to convert into a "big box" center, as Salem could no longer support two shopping malls. In 2006, the mall's original Macy's store (formerly Jordan Marsh) was closed with all Filene's converting into Macy's. In 2012, Lord & Taylor renovated and converted the former Macy's space, opening its only New Hampshire store in March 2012. In 2015, Dick's Sporting Goods reconstructed Sears' second floor as part of a deal with the company while Sears consolidated to an updated store format. Dick's opened October 2015. On August 22, 2018, it was announced Sears would shutter as part of an ongoing decision to eliminate its traditional brick-and-mortar store format. A Cinemark Theatres complex opened in 2020 near the site of the original Sears Auto Center, which is separate from the rest of the mall. On August 27, 2020, it was announced that upscale specialty department store retailer Lord & Taylor would shutter its traditional brick and mortar format as a direct result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Ararat Armenian Congregational Church is an Armenian Evangelical church in Salem, New Hampshire, United States. The church is located at 2 Salem Street in Salem. Prior to the establishment of the Ararat Armenian Congregational Church, the Bethel Armenian Congregational Church in Lawrence, Massachusetts, a mission of the Lawrence Street Congregational Church, served as the primary place of worship for the area's Armenian community. In the late 1800s and early 1900s, several Armenian families, many refugees fleeing the Ottoman Empire, began to settle in Salem, New Hampshire. Frustrated with the distance of the existing Armenian church in Lawrence, in October of 1912 the Armenian population of Salem moved to establish a building committee for the creation of a new Armenian congregation within the town. The church was built on land provided by the Northeastern Street Railway Company, and construction was completed within a year. The church was dedicated on November 12, 1913.Services were originally conducted in Armenian, but are currently led in English.

Rockingham Park was a 1-mile (1.6 km) horse racing establishment in Salem, New Hampshire, in the United States. First built in 1906, it was used as an area for many to gamble on the weekends. Seabiscuit raced there in 1935 and 1936,: 65–66  and Mom's Command ran in her first race and gained her first victory there in 1984.: 334  Rockingham Park also hosted simulcasting and charity gaming. The last live horse racing at the track occurred in 2009. Rockingham Park closed its doors for good on August 31, 2016, and was sold for redevelopment of the property. The racetrack was demolished in the summer of 2017. It is currently being redeveloped as part of the Tuscan Village project.The New Hampshire Sweepstakes (now New Hampshire Lottery) was originated in 1964 and raced here from 1964 to 1967. The race was brought back in 1984 (though not connected with sweepstakes tickets) and was the feature event of the summer racing meet. In 1991, the Mall at Rockingham Park, currently the largest mall in northern New England, was constructed adjacent to the racetrack, and has Dick’s Sporting Goods, J. C. Penney, and Macy's (originally Jordan Marsh), for anchors. The mall is owned and managed by Simon Property Group and is not affiliated with the racetrack.

The Searles School and Chapel is located in Windham, New Hampshire, in the United States. Edward Francis Searles commissioned its design and construction, which began in 1907 and was completed in 1909. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on January 11, 1982.

The Moses Morse House is a historic house in Methuen, Massachusetts, USA. It is a rare surviving farmhouse in the town with 18th century origins, with its oldest elements dating to c. 1762. It is a 2½ story wood-frame house with a massive central chimney, and a small single story ell on the left side. The ell appears to date from near the house's original construction, and the chimney is slightly off-center, indicating the house may have been built in stages. The front door is sheltered by an elaborate Italianate portico that is a c. 1870s modification.The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
