Lyminster

The Slayer's Slab is a title given to a medieval gravestone formerly in the graveyard of Lyminster church in West Sussex, England. It has now been moved inside the church to protect it from weathering. According to legend it is the gravestone of the dragonslayer who killed the Knucker who lived in the nearby knuckerhole. The stone has a cross on it overlaying a herringbone pattern, but no inscription to identify the tomb's occupant.

Lyminster Priory was a priory in Lyminster, West Sussex, England. It was a possible Saxon royal minster of Benedictine nuns and was founded or refounded about 1082AD by Roger de Montgomery, Earl of Sussex, who granted land to St. Peter's Abbey, Almenesches. The Priory was dissolved in about 1414AD and is now the Parish Church of St Mary Magdalene. According to the Hagiography of the Medieval Secgan Manuscript, Saint Cuthflæd of Lyminster is buried in or nearby the priory.

Wick Football Club is a football club based in Wick, near Littlehampton, England. Wick joined the Sussex County League Division Two in 1964. In the 1998–99 season, they reached the 4th round of the FA Vase. Prior to the 2013–14 season, they merged with near neighbours Barnham. However the clubs split again in 2016, reverting to Wick FC and are currently members of the Southern Combination Division One.

Arundel railway station serves the market town of Arundel in West Sussex. The station is on the eastern side of the town, about 550 yards (500 m) from the High Street, across the River Arun. It is 58 miles 28 chains (93.9 km) down the line from London Bridge via Redhill. The station is situated on the A27 and is the transport hub for many settlements in the Arun District area, including Angmering and Wick, for passengers joining London-bound services to the capital and Gatwick Airport. The station is served by the No. 9 Stagecoach bus service that operates between Arundel, Littlehampton, Rustington, and Shoreham; bus stops are outside the station on the A27.The station can accommodate 12 coach trains and is one of the few stations along the Arun Valley route that does not have coach restriction announcements.

Wick is a suburb of Littlehampton in the Arun District of West Sussex, England. Originally a separate village, it now forms part of the built up area around the town and is on the A284 road 1 miles (1 km) to the north of Littlehampton. There is an annual summer festival held in Wick. The Church Hall (Wick Hall) is one of the largest in the area, there are several flint Victorian buildings including All Saints Church, Lyminster School and one thatched cottage.

The Littlehampton Academy (TLA, formerly Littlehampton Community School) is an 11–18 mixed, Christian, secondary school and sixth form with academy status in Littlehampton, West Sussex, England. It was formerly a community school that was established in 1972, and adopted its present name after becoming an academy in 2009. It is part of the Woodard Academies Trust.

South Marsh Mill is a grade II listed tower mill at Arundel, Sussex, England which has been converted to residential use.

Arundel Blackfriars, otherwise Dominican Priory, Arundel, was a friary of the Dominican Order in Arundel, West Sussex, England. The date of foundation was before 1253, when Saint Richard, bishop of Chichester, mentioned it in his will. The friary remained small and poor throughout its history. It was dissolved in 1538.There are structural remains of the friary's south range in Mill Lane, which were previously misidentified as the Maison Dieu.

Arundel Museum is a local museum in the town of Arundel, West Sussex, just inland from the south coast of England. Arundel Museum is run by the Arundel Museum Society, a registered charity. The museum is manned by volunteers and relies on subscriptions, donations and fundraising events for its survival.

Arundel Football Club is a football club based in Arundel, West Sussex, England. They are currently members of the Southern Combination Division One and play at Mill Road.

Littlehampton railway station is in Littlehampton in the county of West Sussex, England. The station and the trains serving it are operated by Southern. The station is a terminus at the end of a short branch off the West Coastway line. It currently has 4 platforms, two of which are of twelve carriage length, one of eight carriage length and one of seven carriage length. It is served by and Class 377 "Electrostar" trains.
