Manly Waterworks

The Manly Cove Pavilion is a heritage-listed former dressing pavilion and amenities block and now public amenities and restaurant at West Esplanade, Manly, Northern Beaches Council, New South Wales, Australia. The property is owned by Roads & Maritime Services, an agency of the Government of New South Wales. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 18 April 2000.

Manly Sea Life Sanctuary (formerly Oceanworld Manly) was a public aquarium located in Manly, Sydney, Australia. It featured sharks, giant stingrays, sea turtles, little penguins and other marine life. It also allowed guests to take part in Shark Dive Xtreme, where they could swim with grey nurse sharks over three metres long.

The Manly Art Gallery and Museum (MAGAM), located in Manly, New South Wales, Australia, was the first metropolitan-based regional gallery in New South Wales and holds an extensive collection of Australian ceramics and 130 works by Antonio Dattilo Rubbo. Since 1982, MAGAM has also been a museum of beach culture and the history of Manly and the Northern Beaches. The permanent collection numbers over 6,000 objects in a range of media including paintings, works on paper, ceramics and museum objects, documents and photographs.

Brighton College (also known as Brighton College for Girls) was a non-denominational day and boarding private girls' school in Manly, New South Wales, Australia. It operated from 1889 to 1960 in the suburb of Manly, Australia.

Manly Council was a local government area on the northern beaches region of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, first incorporated in 1877. On 12 May 2016, the Minister for Local Government announced that Manly Council would be subsumed into the newly formed Northern Beaches Council. The last mayor of Manly Council was Cr. Manly Wharf is a heritage-listed passenger terminal wharf and recreational area located at West Esplanade and serving Manly, a Sydney suburb in the Northern Beaches Council local government area of New South Wales, Australia. Since the 1850s, it has served as the Manly embarkation and disembarkation point for the Manly to Sydney ferry service. The wharf has been redeveloped a number of times since the first structure was constructed in 1856. New facilities were added in the early 20th century, and it was rebuilt in a modernist style in the early 1940s, the basic form of which remains today. The wharf was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 18 April 2000.In addition to passenger services, a cargo service was also run to Manly until the 1928-opening of the Spit Bridge. Following the closure of the cargo service, an amusement park, Manly Fun Pier, was opened on the east wharf in 1931 which closed prior to the 1990 redevelopment of the wharf.

Ivanhoe Park cultural landscape is a heritage-listed former clubhouse, croquet court, cycling, tramway and pleasure garden and now scout hall, sports venue, commemorations, park, passive recreation, childcare centre and community building at Sydney Road, Manly, Northern Beaches Council, New South Wales, Australia. It is also known as Ivanhoe Park (including Manly Oval) cultural landscape and Manly Park. The property is owned by the Department of Industry, a department of the Government of New South Wales. The site was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 23 August 2019.

The Manly Fun Pier (or Manly Amusement Pier) was a small amusement park located on a wharf in Manly, New South Wales, Australia. It was in operation from 1931 until its closure in 1989.

The Manly Town Hall is a landmark civic building in Manly, a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The building is located at the junction of The Corso, Gilbert Street and Belgrave Street, opposite Manly ferry wharf. Designed in the Inter-war Stripped Classical style with Egyptian Revival style columns by Samuel Reginald Maisey, it replaced the previous town hall on the site, a Victorian Mansion built in 1879. The Town Hall was the seat of Manly Council from 1937 to 2016, when it became the site of the first meeting of the new Northern Beaches Council.

Manly Oval is a sporting ground located in Manly, New South Wales, Australia, primarily used for cricket and rugby union. The ground serves as the home ground for the Manly Marlins and Manly Warringah District Cricket Club. Manly Oval has also previously been used to host National Rugby Championship games as a home ground for the Sydney Rays. The ground primarily hosts Shute Shield and Sydney Grade Cricket matches.

St Andrew's Presbyterian Church is a Presbyterian church at Raglan Street, Manly, a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. The foundation stone for the church was laid in 1889. Designed by Sir John Sulman, the church is recognized as being one of the best examples of the Romanesque building style in Australia. It was later renovated under government grant in 1960 to include a school building addition in the rear of the property.
