Brenz Castle

Brenz an der Brenz is a borough of the village of Sontheim in the Heidenheim District of Baden-Württemberg in Germany. Brenz an der Brenz was an independent village until it merged with Sontheim. The borough has about 1100 inhabitants.

Niederstotzingen Castle is a Neoclassical residence located in Niederstotzingen in the district of Heidenheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. The new castle was built on the site of the medieval castle. The castle is first mentioned around 1050 in connection with the von Stotzingen family. It was partly destroyed in 1340, and cleared and rebuilt in 1366. The repaired castle was then again destroyed in 1378. It was built as a new castle around 1530. In 1775-83 it was totally rebuilt and expanded by the Baron vom Stain in its current form. The castle is currently the property of the von Maldeghem family.

Gundelfingen an der Donau (Swabian: Gundelfinga) is a town in the Bavarian district Dillingen in Swabia. Gundelfingen is located at the river Danube (Donau), between Stuttgart, Munich and Augsburg (latitude 48° 33" 15' and longitude: 10° 22" 9'). It has some 8,000 inhabitants and still resembles the town of the Middle Ages. The town is the seat of the municipal association Gundelfingen an der Donau, which includes the towns Bächingen, Haunsheim and Medlingen.

Oberstotzingen Castle is located at the north end of Niederstotzingen in the district of Heidenheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. At present it is a hotel and restaurant, though both are currently closed.The site is first mentioned in 1286, though the castle was built around 1300 by the von Stotzingen family. The castle was first expanded in 1500–50, followed by further expansions in 1608-10 and 1747–51. During its history the castle was also owned by the von Sontheim, the von Jarsdorf and the von Ungelter families. During World War II the castle was used to house displaced Jews by the Nazi government.Every year around Easter, concerts are presented in the castle during weekends as part of the Niederstotzinger Musiktage ("Niederstotzingen Music Days").
