Northport is a town on Penobscot Bay in Waldo County, Maine, United States. The population was 1,550 at the 2020 census. The coastal Bayside residential area is home to over one hundred Victorian seaside cottages, a marina, and the Cobe Estate.

The Ducktrap River is a river in Waldo County, Maine. From the outflow in Tilden Pond (44°21′41″N 69°06′16″W) in Belmont, the river runs 10.0 miles (16.1 km) southeast, through Camden Hills State Park, to West Penobscot Bay in Lincolnville.

The George Ulmer House is a historic house at 3 South Cobbtown Road in Lincolnville, Maine. Built in 1799, it was the largest and most elaborate house in the area at the time. It was built for George Ulmer, who oversaw the rise and fall of a small business empire on the adjacent Ducktrap River between 1784 and 1812. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Grindel Point Light is a lighthouse in Islesboro, Maine, marking the west entrance to Gilkey Harbor at the westernmost point of the eponymous island. The light station was established in 1850, and the present tower and keeper's house were built in 1874. The station was deactivated in 1934 and reactivated in 1987. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987. The keeper's house now houses the Grindel Point Sailor's Museum and the lighthouse tower is open for tours in the summer.

Warren Island State Park is state-owned island and public recreation area on Penobscot Bay in the town of Islesboro, Waldo County, Maine, United States. The 70-acre (28 ha) state park sits about ½-mile from Islesboro Island and 3 miles (4.8 km) offshore from the mainland at Lincolnville. The island was acquired by the state of Maine for one dollar in 1959. Hiking trails, campsites, and open-faced shelters are found on the island; a pier allows access by private boat.

Lincolnville is a town in Waldo County, Maine, United States. The population was 2,312 at the 2020 census. Lincolnville is the mainland terminal for Maine State Ferry Service transport to Islesboro.

The Cobe Estate, also known as Cariad or Oak Hall, is a historic summer mansion house on Bluff Road in Northport, Maine. Overlooking Penobscot Bay, this 1910s mansion is one of the largest Colonial Revival houses in the state. It was built in 1912-14 for Chicago lawyer Ira M. Cobe, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

Islesboro Airport (FAA LID: 57B) is a town owned public use airport located one nautical mile (1.85 km) west of the central business district of Islesboro, a town in Waldo County, Maine, United States. This airport is included in the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2009–2013, which categorized it as a general aviation facility.

The Bayside Historic District encompasses the historic core of a former religious summer camp meeting community in Northport, Maine, USA. It includes the original grounds of the Northport Wesleyan Grove Camp Meeting, established in 1848, with most of surviving architecture built between about 1870 and 1920. It is the largest surviving such area in the state, and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. It is now the heart of the Bayside village, a secular seaside summer resort community.

Islesboro is a town in Waldo County, Maine, United States, comprising Islesboro Island and several smaller islands. The population was 583 at the 2020 census. It has a summer colony accessible by state ferry service from Lincolnville Beach three miles to the west, by private boat, or by air taxi service. Home to Warren Island State Park, Islesboro includes the village of Dark Harbor.

The Alice T. Pendleton Memorial Library is the public library of Islesboro, Maine. It is located at 309 Main Road, in an architecturally distinguished Colonial Revival building built in 1917, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Previously known simply as the Islesboro Free Library, it was named in honor of Alice Pendleton, the town's first librarian and a major force in the library's establishment.

The Little River is a short river in Waldo County, Maine. From its source (44°22′53″N 69°04′58″W) in Belmont, the river runs 8.0 miles (12.9 km) east to Belfast Bay, on the border between Belfast and Northport.
