St John Fisher Catholic High School, formerly known as St. John Fisher RC Comprehensive School, is situated in the city of Peterborough, England, and is the only Catholic school in Cambridgeshire. The school moved back onto the Park Lane site and was reopened on 25 February 2009.

Eastfield is a residential area of the city of Peterborough, in the Peterborough district, in the ceremonial county of Cambridgeshire, England. For electoral purposes it comprises part of Peterborough East ward, together with Fengate and Parnwell. In 2001 it had a resident population of 8,424. Fengate is a predominantly industrial area of the city of Peterborough, in the Peterborough district, in the ceremonial county of Cambridgeshire, England. For electoral purposes it forms part of Peterborough East ward. The industrial estate is known as Eastern Industry. Peterborough Power Station is located here. Flag Fen, the Bronze Age archaeological site, was discovered here in 1982 when a team led by Dr. Francis Pryor carried out a survey of dykes in the area. Probably religious, it comprises many poles arranged in five long rows, connecting Whittlesey with Peterborough across the wet fenland. This structure has been compared in rarity and importance to the Balbridie site in Aberdeenshire. The museum exhibits many of the artefacts found, including what is believed to be the oldest wheel in Britain. An exposed section of the Roman road known as the Fen Causeway also crosses the site.

The Town Ground in Peterborough, England, is a cricket ground which was used by Northamptonshire County Cricket Club in First-class matches for 60 years between 1906 and 1966. It is now used predominantly for Northamptonshire Premier League games, serving as the home ground of Peterborough Town CC.

Peterborough Greyhound Stadium was a greyhound racing track located in Fengate, less than a mile from the centre of Peterborough, England.Racing at the stadium took place every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday night with racing starting at 7:30 pm.On Tuesday 19 May 2020, the stadium announced that it would cease trading with immediate effect after 75 years.

Central Park is a Green Flag-awarded public park in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, north of the city centre. Attractions include a paddling pool, sandpit, tennis courts, formal gardens, an aviary, bowling greens, a croquet lawn and a café. Various shows are held throughout the year, including dog shows and a Viking heritage day.

The Diocese of Peterborough forms part of the Province of Canterbury in England. Its seat is the Cathedral Church of Saint Peter, Saint Paul and Saint Andrew, which was founded as a monastery in AD 655 and re-built in its present form between 1118 and 1238.

Peterborough Cathedral, properly the Cathedral Church of St Peter, St Paul and St Andrew – also known as Saint Peter's Cathedral in the United Kingdom – is the seat of the Anglican Bishop of Peterborough, dedicated to Saint Peter, Saint Paul and Saint Andrew, whose statues look down from the three high gables of the famous West Front. Although it was founded in the Anglo-Saxon period, its architecture is mainly Norman, following a rebuilding in the 12th century. With Durham and Ely cathedrals, it is one of the most important 12th-century buildings in England to have remained largely intact, despite extensions and restoration. Peterborough Cathedral is known for its imposing Early English Gothic West Front (façade) which, with its three enormous arches, is without architectural precedent and with no direct successor. The appearance is slightly asymmetrical, as one of the two towers that rise from behind the façade was never completed (the tower on the right as one faces the building), but this is only visible from a distance.

Peterscourt is a building in Peterborough, on City Road, which was designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott and completed in 1859. It is Grade II listed.

Peterborough Castle, also known as Mount Thorold and Touthill, was a medieval motte and bailey castle in Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, England.

Greater Peterborough University Technical College (GPUTC) is Peterborough's only STEM and built environment specialist school for students aged 13 to 19. Located in Peterborough city centre, the £12 million state of the art school opened in September 2016. UTCs are secondary schools for young people that are sponsored by university providers and local employers. They were set up by the government to encourage young people to study academic and technical subjects and to give them the opportunity to learn the skills that employers are looking for. Students can join GPUTC in Year 9, Year 10 or Year 12; years 9 and 10 study STEM subjects along with their core GCSE subjects. Students are also given the opportunity to pick from employability GCSEs such as computer science, business studies or art and design. Alternatively, students can join in Year 12 and choose to study a technical qualification in either engineering or the built environment, or traditional A-levels. GPUTC's employer and education sponsors are represented on the governing body and work closely with the school and students. This is done through offering work experience, industry exposure and a guaranteed job interview upon completion of study in Year 11 or Year 13, dependent on results at the end of the study.
