National Board of Health and Welfare (Sweden)

Västerbroplan is a traffic intersection in Kungsholmen, Stockholm. It lies just west of Västerbron and just south of Fridhemsplan. It is also the location of DN-Skrapan, the offices of several newspapers and associated agencies. While its namesake, Dagens Nyheter, no longer resides in the building, it is still very much associated with press and journalism.

The National Archives of Sweden (Swedish: Riksarkivet, RA) is the official archive of the Swedish government and is responsible for the management of records from Sweden's public authorities. Although the archives functions primarily as the government archive, it also preserves some documents from private individuals and non-public organizations. The mission of the archives is to collect and preserve records for future generations.

Marieberg is a district located on the island of Kungsholmen in Stockholm City Centre, Sweden. Marieberg is part of the Borough of Kungsholmen. It is located west of Fridhemsgatan/Riddarfjärden, south of Drottningholmsvägen and east of Essingeleden/Viktor Rydbergs gata. In the south Marieberg borders the Mariebergsfjärden.

Rålambshovsparken (English: Rålambshov Park) is a park in the Marieberg district on the island of Kungsholmen in Stockholm, Sweden.

The Stockholm Institute of Education (Swedish: Lärarhögskolan i Stockholm) was a university college in Stockholm, Sweden that was founded in 1956. It was incorporated into Stockholm University on January 1, 2008.

Saint Göran Hospital (Swedish: Sankt Görans sjukhus) is a hospital in Stockholm, Sweden. It is located on Kungsholmen, a small island in the lake Mälaren in the city center. St. Göran is one of Sweden's oldest hospitals. It was mentioned in letters from the 13th century. With Karolinska Hospital (Karolinska sjukhuset) it is Stockholms's main hospital and a primary trauma center. Its name refers to Saint George (Sankt Göran in Swedish).

Cheiron Studios (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈɕɛ̌ɪrɔn]) was a recording studio located in the Kungsholmen district of Stockholm, Sweden. Founded in 1992 by Denniz PoP and Tom Talomaa, it was famous for being the place where popular music acts of the late 1990s/early 2000s such as Backstreet Boys, Boyzone, Robyn, NSYNC, Britney Spears, and Westlife, produced many of their greatest hits. In addition, Cheiron Studios was also a record label (Cheiron Records) in affiliation with BMG for a while, and a music publishing service (Cheiron Songs), although those ventures were abandoned in favor of music production. After Denniz PoP's death in 1998, Cheiron closed in 2000. Talomaa and Max Martin reformed the company as Maratone, while Kristian Lundin and Jake Schulze formed The Location and David Kreuger and Per Magnusson started A Side Productions. The studio is currently owned by Roxy Recordings which also includes the Hanssonic Studios of Anders Hansson.

Konradsberg or Konradsbergs hospital is a former mental hospital on the island of Kungsholmen in Stockholm, Sweden. The Stockholm Institute of Education now uses the old hospital building. From August 2009 the charter school Stockholm's International Montessori School used the building. Campus Konradsberg is named after the psychiatric hospital.

Thorildsplan is a small park in the residential area of Kristineberg in Stockholm, Sweden. Thorildsplan is northwest of Kungsholmen, west of Lindhagensgatan and north of Drottningsolmsvägen. Thorildsplan Stockholm Metro station was commissioned in 1952 when the Hötorget-Vällingby metro was opened. The park was named in 1925 after the writer Thomas Thorild (1759–1808).In the late 1920s, a maternity clinic (Pro Patria) was built, designed by Carl Westman. It was located close to Thorildsplan on Thorildsvägen 5. In 1980, the property was sold to the building board. Today it is a residential building.

Thorildsplan metro station is a station on the Green line of the Stockholm metro. It takes its name from the nearby park of Thorildsplan, which in turn is named after the writer Thomas Thorild, and is in the district of Kristineberg, which is in the borough of Kungsholmen in central Stockholm. The station has a single island platform and is located in the centre of Drottningholmsvägen, with access from a pedestrian underpass at its eastern end that passes under both road and rail line. The distance to Slussen is 6.1 km (3.8 mi).The station was inaugurated on 26 October 1952 as a part of the section of line between Hötorget and Vällingby.As part of Art in the Stockholm metro project, the station has two distinct art works. A relief of a sun on the track wall is by Huck Hultgren and dates from 1975. A painting of concrete surfaces on the theme of Thomas Thorild, genius, inventor, thinker is by Tobias Apelgren and Lou Åberg and dates from 1998.

Draken (English: The Dragon) was a cinema and music venue located in Stockholm, Sweden. It opened in 1938 as one of Stockholm's biggest cinemas, featuring a capacity of 1,125 people. The architect was Ernst Grönwall with assistance of Olle Zetterberg. The neon sign outside was drawn by the artist Ragnar Person and made by Ruben Morne. It became one of the best known neon signs in Sweden. During the 1980s it was a very popular concert venue with many notable performances by artists such as Def Leppard, Dio, Ozzy Osbourne and Camel. The venue was closed in 1996 and in 2010 turned into a self storage facility.

Västerbron (lit. 'the western bridge') is an arch bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. With a total length exceeding 600 m, 340 m of which stretches over water, it is one of the major bridges in Stockholm, offering one of the most panoramic views of the central part of the city centering on Gamla stan, the old town. Its inauguration on 20 November 1935 made it the second stationary connection between the southern and northern parts of the city, saving the citizens the effort of a ferry ride, which had previously been required, or the congested detour through Gamla stan.
