Brani Naval Base is the headquarters of the Police Coast Guard (PCG) of the Singapore Police Force (SPF). It was a naval base of the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN), which has since been relocated to Changi Naval Base and Tuas Naval Base.Pulau Brani was selected to house the naval base in the early 1970s and work started on 17 August 1972, with Brigadier Sir Bruce White as the consultant. The entire project cost S$35 million and was completed in January 1974. On 26 January 1974, Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew opened the Singapore Maritime Command Naval Base. The naval base had a new wharf and a supply base complex added in 1983 at the cost of S$16 million. Part of the base was subsequently redeveloped to accommodate the expansion of the adjacent port, and some of the facilities were relocated to the new Tuas Naval Base in 1995. On 12 October 2000, the remainder of the Navy's facilities were finally closed. On 23 March 2004, the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority's Coastal Command Headquarters was formally opened by Minister for Home Affairs Wong Kan Seng. The Police Coast Guard has since demolished and rebuilt its new headquarters at the old premises of the Navy, which begun operations on 20 March 2006 following the closure of its existing facilities in Kallang Basin.The Police Coast Guard's Brani Regional Base was formally opened by Minister for Home Affairs Wong Kan Seng on 8 February 2007.

Keppel Harbour (Chinese: 吉宝港口 or 岌巴港口; pinyin: Jíbǎo Gǎngkǒu or Jíbā Gǎngkǒu; Malay: Pelabuhan Keppel), also called the Keppel Channel and formerly New Harbour, is a stretch of water in Singapore between the mainland and the southern islands of Pulau Brani and Sentosa (formerly Pulau Blakang Mati). Its naturally sheltered and deep waters was to meet the requirements of British colonists attempting to establish a Far East maritime colony in that part of the world, thereby setting the stage for the eventual formation of Singapore as a successful independent state.

The "Double Tenth incident" (双十節事件 Sōjūsetsu jiken) or "Double Tenth massacre" occurred on 10 October 1943, during the Second World War Japanese occupation of Singapore. The Kenpeitai – Japanese military police – arrested and tortured fifty-seven civilians and civilian internees on suspicion of their involvement in a raid on Singapore Harbour that had been carried out by Anglo–Australian commandos from Operation Jaywick. Seven Japanese ships were sunk, but none of those arrested and tortured had participated in the raid, nor had any knowledge of it. Fifteen of them died in Singapore's Changi Prison.After the war ended, twenty-one of the Kenpeitai involved were charged with war crimes. Eight received the death sentence, seven were acquitted, and the remainder were given prison sentences varying from one year to life.

The Greater Southern Waterfront (abbreviation: GSW) is a major waterfront project under development situated in southern Singapore, straddling its coastline. At present, the area is occupied by the Tanjong Pagar and Brani terminals of the Port of Singapore, which will be progressively moved to the Tuas Megaport, as well as Keppel Golf Club. The GSW will span 30 kilometres (19 miles) across the southern coastline of Singapore when fully completed.

Prima Tower Revolving Restaurant is a Chinese restaurant in Singapore owned and managed by Prima Tower Pte Ltd.The restaurant opened in 1977, and was touted for being the "world’s only revolving restaurant nestled on a grain silo". It also serves Beijing cuisine, together with views of Sentosa, Mount Faber and the Cable Car.

Fort Serapong is a former coastal artillery battery on Mount Serapong hill on Sentosa Island in Singapore, then known as Pulau Blakang Mati. It was one of four major batteries on the island, along with Fort Siloso, Fort Connaught and the Mount Imbiah Battery.

The HSBC Women's World Championship is a women's professional golf tournament on the LPGA Tour first held in 2008. It was played on the Garden Course of the Tanah Merah Country Club in eastern Singapore, adjacent to Singapore Changi Airport from 2008 to 2012. It is now played at the Sentosa Golf Club in Sentosa (Serapong Course from 2013 to 2016, Tanjong Course since 2017). In 2008 and 2009, entrance in the tournament was open to 78 of the world's top golfers, based on world rankings, recent tour wins, and other criteria. The total purse in the first two years was US$2 million, with the winner's share at $300,000. In 2010, the field was reduced to 63 players and the purse reduced to $1.3 million. The purse increased to $1.4 million in 2011.The purse will increase from the $1.6 million in 2021, to $1.7 million in 2022.As a limited field tournament, there is no cut and all players in the field play all four rounds. Hong Kong-based financial services company HSBC is the title sponsor of the tournament. HSBC also sponsors several events like the WGC-HSBC Champions, Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship and the former HSBC Women's World Match Play Championship and HSBC Brazil Cup.

The Sentosa Causeway is a 380-metre (1,250 ft) causeway connecting mainland Singapore to the island of Sentosa. Initially as two separate links to Pulau Brani and Sentosa from the mainland, it was merged into one link in December 1986. There was debate over whether the link should be a causeway, bridge, or tunnel, with the tunnel allowing ships to pass through the Keppel Channel, though more expensive, whilst the causeway or bridge would be cheaper and more visually appealing. Although the government leaned to the tunnel, it was decided in November 1987 and February 1988 that the Pulau Brani and Sentosa links will be a causeway, respectively, as a causeway for the Pulau Brani link would reduce land transport time for cargo. The causeway opened on 16 December 1992.

St James Power Station is a building located in HarbourFront, Singapore. Built in 1926, it was Singapore's first power station, having supplied electricity to the nearby port and the surrounding industries, shipyards and residences. It was previously also the one and only coal-fired power plant in the country. After it was decommissioned in the 1970s, it became a warehouse and subsequently as a major music-themed nightlife venue until 2018. In 2009, St James Power Station was designated as one of the country's national monuments by the National Heritage Board. It is currently used as the headquarters for the technological company Dyson as well as being the site of a heritage trail and gallery tour dedicated to Singapore's port and industrial history.

Keppel MRT station is a future underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Circle line, located in Bukit Merah planning area, Singapore. This station is part of Stage 6 of the Circle line (CCL6) which will "close the circle" between the HarbourFront and Marina Bay stations. The station will be located along Keppel Road, near to the Keppel Harbour. Slated for completion by 2026, Keppel station will serve the upcoming Greater Southern Waterfront. First announced in 2015, construction of the station began in 2017. The station was to be opened in 2025 along with the other CCL6 stations, but was delayed to 2026 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Singapore.

Makam Diraja Johor Telok Blangah (Jawi: مقام دراج خوهر تاوق بلاڠه) is a Johor royal mausoleum co-located next to the grounds of Masjid Temenggong Daeng Ibrahim in Telok Blangah, Singapore. The royal cemetery is the final resting place of the descendants of the House of Temenggong from 1825 to 1900.

Masjid Temenggong Daeng Ibrahim (Jawi: مسجد تماڠڬوڠ دايڠ إبراهيم; Malay for Temenggong Daeng Ibrahim Mosque) also known as Masjid Diraja Teluk Blangah (Teluk Blangah Royal Mosque), is a historical royal mosque located along 30 Telok Blangah Road in Singapore. Near the mosque is the Johor Royal Mausoleum and Tanah Kubor Temenggong Johor, a small unkempt cemetery all co-located on site. The grounds of the mosque, mausoleum and cemetery are owned by the State of Johor for the Sultan of Johor. It is one of two mosques in the country not under purview by Majlis Ugama Islam Singapura but come under management of the Johor Religious Department.
