Liebenstein Castle (German: Burg Liebenstein) is a castle above the village of Kamp-Bornhofen in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany.

Boppard (German pronunciation: [ˈbɔpaʁt] ), formerly also spelled Boppart, is a town and municipality (since the 1976 inclusion of 9 neighbouring villages, Ortsbezirken) in the Rhein-Hunsrück-Kreis (district) in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, lying in the Rhine Gorge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The town is also a state-recognized tourism resort (Fremdenverkehrsort) and is a winegrowing centre.

Boppard Hauptbahnhof is a station in the town of Boppard in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate. It is located on the outskirts of the town near the Rhine. It is at a railway junction on the West Rhine Railway (German: Linke Rheinstrecke) between Köln Hauptbahnhof and Mainz Hauptbahnhof, and it is the starting point of the Hunsrück Railway (Hunsrückbahn) to Emmelshausen. It has three platform tracks. The station is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station. Less than five of the long-distance passenger services running on the left Rhine line stop at the station each day. It is served by one Regional-Express service (stopping every two hours) and two Regionalbahn stopping services (each stopping hourly). In addition to the main station, there are five other railway stations in Boppard.

Spay is a municipality in the district of Mayen-Koblenz in Rhineland-Palatinate, western Germany. It is located on the left bank of the Rhine. It lies within the Rhine Gorge which became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2002. Spay was probably founded by the ancient Celts from whom the name "Spay" stems. There exists also evidence of an ancient Roman Presence in the 4th century. Historically Spay was first mentioned 821 in a deed that placed the village under the protection of Louis the Pious. During the Holy Roman Empire Spay was owned by various feudal Lords and belonged to the archbishop elector of Trier who placed it under the administration of Boppard. It remained in the possession of the electors until it was absorbed by France during the Revolutionary epoch. It was assigned by the Congress of Vienna in 1815 to Prussia. Spay is home to Schottel GmbH, a propulsor-producing company. The village is also known for its excellent wines (mostly Riesling produced by the local winemakers.

Brey is a municipality in the district of Mayen-Koblenz in Rhineland-Palatinate, western Germany. It has a population of 1,446 (Dec. 2020).

The Marksburg is a castle above the town of Braubach in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is one of the principal sites of the Rhine Gorge UNESCO World Heritage Site. The fortress was used for protection rather than as a residence for royal families. It has a striking example of a bergfried designed as a butter-churn tower. Of the 40 hill castles between Bingen am Rhein and Koblenz the Marksburg was one of only two which had never been destroyed (the other being Maus Castle) and at least the only one that had never fallen into disrepair.

Braubach is a municipality in the Rhein-Lahn-Kreis, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated on the right bank of the Rhine, approx. 10 km southeast of Koblenz. Braubach has assorted medieval architecture intact, including portions of the town wall, half-timbered buildings, and castle Marksburg on the hill above. Braubach was the seat of the former Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") Braubach.
