Wick River

County Offices was a municipal structure at the corner of High Street and Market Place in Wick, Caithness, Scotland. It was built in 1894 as a post office and served as the main offices of Caithness County Council from 1930 onwards. In 1965 the council's offices were expanded to also include an adjoining older terrace called Stafford Place. The County Offices passed to the Highland Council on local government reorganisation. The building was demolished except for Stafford Place in 2013. A new building called Caithness House was built on the site to serve as an area office for the Highland Council, opening in 2015. Stafford Place is a Category B listed building.

Pulteneytown Central Church was a Christian church in the Pulteneytown area of Wick in Caithness in the far north of Scotland. It ran church services from 1806 to 1990. The site is now used by a Baptist church.

Pulteneytown Parish Church is located in Argyle Square, Pulteneytown, Wick, Caithness, Scotland. It is a congregation in the Church of Scotland. The church building was opened in 1842, but following the Disruption of 1843 the Rev David Mitchell left to become a minister of the Free Church of Scotland in Glasgow. The small rural parish church at Thrumster (5 miles south of Wick) was united with Pulteneytown Church in 1961, both congregations henceforth being served by the same minister. From 1929 until 1990 the congregation was known as "Wick St Andrew's", but following a union with (the now disused) Wick Central Church the original name of Pulteneytown was restored. The building was extensively refurbished in 2003. In 2007, the Rev William (Bill) F. Wallace, who was one of the candidates for nomination as Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland. Mr Wallace was previously a missionary dentist in Ethiopia. A previous minister, Robert McGhee, was also nominated for the position. Both represented the evangelical wing of the Church, Mr. Wallace having been the head of the Forward Together group. The church continues under an evangelical ministry with the appointment of the Rev Andrew Barrie, formally of Kinmylies Parish Church in Inverness.

Wick Town Hall is a municipal building in Bridge Street, Wick, in the Highland area of Scotland. The structure, which is used as a community events venue, is a Category B listed building. It formerly served as the meeting place of both Wick Town Council and Caithness County Council.

Ebenezer Place, in Wick, Caithness, Scotland, is credited by the Guinness Book of Records as being the world's shortest street at 2.06 m (6 ft 9 in). The street has only one address: the entrance to No. 1 Bistro, which is part of Mackays Hotel. The hotel has other frontages onto Union Street and River Street, with its main entrance on Union Street. Ebenezer Place originated in 1883, when 1 Ebenezer Place was constructed; the owner of the building was instructed to display a name on the shortest side of the hotel. It was officially declared a street in 1887. Ebenezer Place was only recognised by the Guinness Book of Records in 2006, after the owner of the Mackays Hotel building made an entrance into a new bistro. It replaced the previous record of 5.2 m (17 ft), held by Elgin Street, Bacup, England.

Wick Lifeboat Station is located at the harbour town and royal burgh of Wick, Highland, in the NE corner of Scotland, in the historic county of Caithness. A lifeboat was first stationed here by the British Fisheries Society in 1848. It was taken over by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) in 1895. Since 1997, the station has operated a Trent-class All-weather lifeboat, 14-20 Roy Barker II (ON 1224).

Old Pulteney distillery is a malt whisky production and aging facility in the Pulteneytown area of Wick, Caithness, in the Highland area of Scotland. The distillery produces the Old Pulteney single malt whisky at a number of ages and has a visitor centre in Huddart Street.

Wick railway station is a railway station located in Wick, in the Highland council area in the far north of Scotland. It serves the town of Wick and other surrounding areas in the historic county of Caithness, including Staxigoe, Papigoe and Haster. The station is the terminus of the Far North Line, 161 miles 36 chains (259.8 kilometres) from Inverness. It is managed by ScotRail, who operate all trains serving the station.

Harmsworth Park is a football ground in Wick in the Scottish Highlands of Scotland, which is the home ground of Highland Football League side Wick Academy F.C. It is located on South Road in the south of the town and has a capacity of 2,412 with 102 seated. The ground is the home of the most northerly senior football club in the United Kingdom.
