Achensee Railway

Jenbach railway station serves the municipality of Jenbach, in the Schwaz district of the Austrian federal state of Tyrol. It is the only station in Austria at which railway lines of three different gauges meet. The most important line leading to Jenbach station is the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB) standard gauge Lower Inn Valley railway, which passes through the station. Jenbach also has two terminating narrow gauge lines - the metre gauge Achensee Railway, and the 760 mm (2 ft 5+15⁄16 in) gauge Zillertalbahn. The station is 2,437 metres (7,995 ft) long, has 5 main lines, 7 sidings and 3 private sidings.

Tratzberg Castle is a castle in Jenbach, Tyrol, Austria. Tratzberg Castle is located on a steep ridge above Jenbach in the Austrian part of Tyrol. It is an excellent example of palace architecture typical for the alpine parts of the Holy Roman Empire during the late Gothic and early Renaissance period. The castle was built in its present form in 1500 mostly by the brothers Veit-Jakob and Simon Tänzl. Today Tratzberg Castle is owned and inhabited by Count Ulrich Goëss-Enzenberg and his wife Katrin Goëss-Enzenberg. Tratzberg is also one of the best preserved castles in Austria, having many of its original furnishings and fittings.

Lake Achen (German: Achensee) is a lake in Austria, north of Jenbach in Tyrol. Lake Achen is also called "Fjord of the Alps" and "Tyrolean Sea". The largest lake within the federal state, its maximum depth is 133 metres (436 ft). Together with the Achen Valley, it parts the Karwendel mountain range in the west from the Brandenberg Alps in the east. Water quality is near that of drinking water, with sight up to ten metres (33 ft) below the surface. An alpine lake, water temperature is accordingly low, rarely above 20 °C (68 °F). Its size and wind conditions make it suitable for windsurfing. Eben am Achensee, Achenkirch, and Pertisau are municipalities on the lake. The Achensee and its hinterland serves as the model for the 'Tiernsee', setting of the Chalet School series of children's books by Elinor M. Brent-Dyer.

The Bärenkopf is a mountain, 1,991 m (AA), in the Rauer Knöll-Verzweigung in the southeastern Karwendel south of Pertisau at the Achen Lake in Tyrol.Mountain hikers reach the summit in a three-hour mountain hike from Pertisau. A few metres west of the summit plateau, a rock step and a further section of the trail with ropes are present.

Stans is a municipality in the Schwaz district in the Austrian state of Tyrol. It is located in the Inn valley, some 3 km away from Schwaz.
