Dejvická (Czech pronunciation: [ˈdɛjvɪtskaː]) is a Prague Metro station on Line A. It lies at the eastern end of the main boulevard Evropská Třída.

The Czech Institute of Informatics, Robotics and Cybernetics (Czech: Český institut informatiky, robotiky a kybernetiky, CIIRC) was established as a part of the Czech Technical University in Prague on July 1, 2013. In the premises of the CTU in Dejvice there has been two new buildings for CIIRC built since November 2013. CIIRC will reside in a new building, which used to serve as a Technical University canteen and one of the biggest Billa hypermarkets. CIIRC consists of eight research departments, CYPHY: Cyber-physical systems, INTSYS: Intelligent systems, IIG: Industrial informatics, RMP: Robotics and machine perception, IPA: Industrial production and automation, COGSYS: Cognitive systems and neurosciences, BEAT: Biomedical engineering and Assistive technologies, PLAT: Research Management of Platforms. The head of CIIRC is Ondřej Velek.

Semafor is a theatre in Prague, Czech Republic, established by Jiří Suchý and Ferdinand Havlík in 1959. Suchý has performed there for many years and is the current owner. The theatre was a starting point for many famous Czech musicians, including Karel Gott and Hana Hegerová.The name "Semafor" is an acronym for Sedm Malých Forem (Seven Small Forms), referring to forms of theatre.

Spejbl and Hurvínek Theatre (S+H) is a puppet theatre located in Prague, Czech Republic. Founded in 1930 by puppeteer Josef Skupa, Spejbl and Hurvínek was the first professional puppet theatre established in Czechoslovakia and the present-day Czech Republic.Helena Štáchová, a puppeteer who played the well known roles of Manicka and Mrs Katerina in the company, served as the head of Spejbl and Hurvínek from 1996 until her death in 2017, following Miloš Kirschner (1956/1966-1996) and founder Josef Skupa (1930-1956). In 2008, a court awarded Štáchová the right to use the popular Spejbl and Hurvínek puppet characters after an eight-year legal dispute, which allowed the S+H Theatre to continue its programs.

The Czech National Library of Technology (Czech: Národní technická knihovna, abbreviated as NTK) is located at Technická 6 in Prague 6. The building also houses a branch of the Municipal Library of Prague. The former site of the National Library of Technology was the Clementinum in the Old Town of Prague, from which all books and materials were moved to the library's current location after completion of the current building in 2009. The building was designed by architects Roman Brychta, Adam Halíř, Ondřej Hofmeister and Petr Lešek of Projektil Architekti after winning first prize in an architectural competition held in 2000.Construction of the current building began in 2006 and was completed in January 2009. The library opened to the public on 9 September 2009 and now boasts the most extensive collection of Czech and international documents in the field of technology and applied natural and social sciences related to technology in the Czech Republic.The user-friendly design philosophy for the building has been described as a "high-tech living room for students" by the institution's Director Martin Svoboda.

Bubeneč is a district in the north-west of Prague. 52% of the district is in Prague 7, but most of the built-up area is in Prague 6. Sparta Prague football club and their stadium Generali Arena is situated at the south-eastern edge of Bubeneč, and the district also covers Stromovka park (Královská obora) and a convention centre Výstaviště. The name Bubeneč is masculine, although Czech grammar rules also allow its use as a feminine. Bubeneč is sometimes informally called "Little Moscow" due to the high concentration of various entities and buildings related to the Russian government and private businesses, including the vast Embassy of Russia and the office of Rossotrudnichestvo.

The University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague (UCT Prague; Czech: Vysoká škola chemicko-technologická v Praze, VŠCHT Praha) is the largest university specializing in chemistry in the Czech Republic. Though founded in 1952, UCT Prague has origins dating back to the early nineteenth century and Prague Polytechnic, a precursor to the present-day Czech Technical University in Prague, and, since that time, it has been one of the leading chemistry research universities in Central Europe. More than 3,600 students are accepted every year. In 2014, UCT Prague had 510 academic staff and 361 research staff.

Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Czech Academy of Sciences (shortened as IOCB Prague) (Czech: Ústav organické chemie a biochemie Akademie věd České republiky) is a research institute under the Czech Academy of Sciences (CAS). The institute centers around research in the fields of organic chemistry, biochemistry and neighboring disciplines, mostly oriented at applications in medicine and environment. It is known for its contribution in the development of key drugs against HIV and HBV. The institute also takes part in university education, supervising master's and doctoral theses.

Czech Technical University in Prague (CTU, Czech: České vysoké učení technické v Praze, ČVUT) is one of the largest universities in the Czech Republic with 8 faculties, and is one of the oldest institutes of technology in Central Europe. It is also the oldest non-military technical university in Europe.In the academic year 2020/21, Czech Technical University offered 130 degree programs in Czech and 84 in English. It was considered one of the top 10 universities in emerging Europe and Central Asia in the same year.

Faculty of Information Technology, Czech Technical University in Prague (FIT CTU) was established on the 1st of July, 2009, as the eighth and the youngest faculty of Czech Technical University in Prague. The school offers undergraduate and graduate programmes including doctoral programme. FIT CTU is part of many alliances and associations such as Informatics Europe.

The Hotel International Prague is a four-star hotel located in the Dejvice quarter of Prague, in the Czech Republic. It was completed in 1956 in the socialist realism style, and is a Czech cultural monument. The hotel has retained much of its original interior artwork, contains 278 guest rooms, and was originally designed as a military hotel before public use as a luxury hotel. It has previously operated under the names Hotel Družba, Hotel Čedok, Hotel Holiday Inn and Hotel Crowne Plaza.
