Brione-Gerra

Brione (Verzasca) is a village and former municipality in the district of Locarno in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. On 17 October 2020 the former municipalities of Vogorno, Sonogno, Corippo, Brione (Verzasca) and Frasco merged to form the new municipality of Verzasca.

The Madom da Sgióf is a mountain of the Swiss Lepontine Alps, located between Maggia and Brione in the canton of Ticino.

The Poncione d'Alnasca is a mountain of the Lepontine Alps, located east of Brione in the canton of Ticino. It is located on the range south of the Cima di Gagnone. The south side consists of a pyramid-shaped and almost vertical rock face.

The Poncione Piancascia is a mountain of the Swiss Lepontine Alps, overlooking Brione in the canton of Ticino. It lies between the Valle Maggia and the Valle Verzasca. The Poncione di Piancascia has an elevation of 2,360 metres and is the highest summit on the range south of Pizzo delle Pecore.

Lavertezzo is a municipality in the district of Locarno in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland.

Cima di Gagnone is a medium sized mountain in the Lepontine Alps it is located in the Swiss canton of Ticino. It is located between the valleys of Verzasca and Leventina, south of Passo di Gagnone.

The Madone is a mountain of the Swiss Lepontine Alps, located between the valleys of Maggia and Verzasca in the canton of Ticino.

Corippo is a village and former municipality in the district of Locarno in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland. With a population of just 12 inhabitants in July 2018, and dropping to 9 by December 2019 it was the smallest municipality in Switzerland. Despite this, it possessed the trappings of communities many times its size: an official website (www.corippo.ch), its own coat of arms, a village church, a restaurant, and a mayor who led a town council consisting of three local citizens. The village had maintained its status as an independent entity since its incorporation in 1822. However, on 17 October 2020 the former municipalities of Vogorno, Sonogno, Corippo, Brione (Verzasca) and Frasco merged to form the new municipality of Verzasca with a combined population of then 640.

Cima di Bri is a mountain in the Lepontine Alps, located in the Swiss canton of Ticino. It is situated between Lavertezzo and Biasca, on the range that separates the valleys of Verzasca and Leventina. With an altitude of 2,520 metres, it is the highest summit of this chain south of Passo di Gagnone.

Cimetta is a mountain in the Lepontine Alps, it is located above Locarno and Lake Maggiore. The Locarno–Madonna del Sasso funicular links Locarno city centre with Orselina. From there a cable car connects to Cardada, from which a chair lift runs to the summit.
