The National Sports Center (NSC) is a multi-sport complex located in Blaine, Minnesota. Its 600-acre (240 ha) site includes a soccer stadium, over 50 full-sized soccer fields, a golf course, a meeting and convention facility, and an eight-sheet ice rink, the Super Rink. The National Sports Center has hosted numerous National and World Championship events in soccer, hockey, figure skating, short track speedskating, broomball, rugby, ultimate frisbee and lacrosse. The National Sports Center opened in 1990 after 1987 legislature created the Minnesota Amateur Sports Commission (MASC) and appropriated $14.7 million for the construction of the NSC. The facility has over 3.8 million visitors annually, making it the most-visited sports facility in the state of Minnesota. The Herb Brooks Foundation, the foundation created by the hockey coach's family, has partnered with the National Sports Center to develop the Herb Brooks Training Center, a dryland and ice hockey training facility that is part of the Super Rink. Currently the space is leased to partner organization who trains youth both on and off the ice surface. Each July, the National Sports Center plays host to USA CUP, the largest soccer tournament in the Western Hemisphere with over 1,100 teams and participants from 19 countries.

The Super Rink at National Sports Center is a 300,000-square-foot (28,000 m2) ice rink facility that features eight sheets of ice and is the largest ice arena complex in the world. The 3M Championship was a professional golf tournament in Minnesota on the PGA Tour Champions, played annually at the TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, a suburb north of Minneapolis. Based in Saint Paul, 3M was the main sponsor of the tournament. It debuted 31 years ago in 1993 as the Burnet Senior Classic, and was originally held at the Bunker Hills Golf Course in nearby Coon Rapids. After eight editions, the tournament moved to the year-old TPC Twin Cities in 2001, when 3M took over as sponsor. The purse in 2017 was $1.75 million, with a winner's share of $262,500.Within the tournament was the "Greats of Golf Challenge," an exhibition scramble on Saturday among teams of former major winners and hall of famers of both genders. Recent participants include Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Lee Trevino, and Nancy Lopez. In 2018, it was announced that the 2018 3M Championship would be the final playing of the event, as it would be replaced by the 3M Open on the PGA Tour starting in 2019. Kenny Perry was the final champion of the event, winning his third 3M Championship on August 5, 2018.

The 3M Open is a professional golf tournament in Minnesota on the PGA Tour, held at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, a suburb north of Minneapolis. Announced by the PGA Tour in June 2018, the tournament debuted in 2019 on July 4–7. Minnesota-based company 3M is the title sponsor of the event. It succeeded the 3M Championship, a PGA Tour Champions event for 26 years (1993–2018), held at TPC Twin Cities since 2001.

TPC Twin Cities is a private golf club in the north central United States, located within the subdivision of Deacon’s Walk in Blaine, Minnesota, a suburb north of Minneapolis. Opened in 2000, the 18-hole championship golf course was designed by Arnold Palmer in consultation with Tom Lehman; who is a member of the Tournament Players Club network operated by the PGA Tour. Since 2001, it has hosted the 3M Championship on the PGA Tour Champions. On June 18, 2018, it was announced that the 3M Championship would end after 2018, and be replaced by the 3M Open, a PGA Tour event starting in 2019.

Anoka County–Blaine Airport (ICAO: KANE, FAA LID: ANE), also known as Janes Field, is a public use airport in Anoka County, Minnesota, United States. Owned by Metropolitan Airports Commission, it is 10 nautical miles (19 km) north of the central business district of Minneapolis. The airport is located in the city of Blaine. This facility is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2017–2021, which categorized it as a general aviation reliever airport.This airport is assigned a three-letter location identifier of ANE by the Federal Aviation Administration, but it does not have an International Air Transport Association (IATA) airport code (the IATA assigned ANE to Angers – Marcé Airport in France).

Paladin Career and Technical High School is a Minnesota public charter school in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, in the United States. It opened in September 2002 and teaches grades 9–12.

Northtown Mall is a shopping mall located in Blaine, Minnesota, United States. The mall's anchor stores are Hobby Lobby, Best Buy Outlet, 2 Becker Furniture World stores, and Burlington. In addition, Northtown Mall features over 100 stores and restaurants, as well as a food court and Paladin Career and Technical High School public charter school which was open in September 2002. The mall is owned by Washington Prime Group. Over 5.5 million people visit the mall every year.At the time of its grand opening in October 1972, it was the third largest shopping center in the Twin Cities. It was the first regional shopping center in the Twin Cities that was not owned by the Dayton Corporation, which developed the Southdale Center and later "Dales" shopping centers. Northtown Mall was located on 83 acres of land, and built at a cost of $30 million.
