Aberdeen was a census-designated place (CDP) in Palm Beach County, Florida. The population was 2,672 at the 1990 census. It now serves as a neighborhood in the vast swathe of undifferentiated suburbia that is west of Boynton Beach, Florida. Although the Census Bureau no longer recognizes Aberdeen as a census-designated place, the neighborhood continues to exist and prosper.

South Florida National Cemetery is a United States National Cemetery, located in western Lake Worth, Florida. It is maintained by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, and it is also one of the newest national cemeteries in the United States, when it opened to the public on April 16, 2007, although the official dedication of the cemetery was on March 9, 2008. The federal approval for the 313-acre (127 ha) cemetery was in October 2000.

Green Cay Wetlands (or Green Cay Wetlands and Nature Center) is a nature preserve located in Boynton Beach, Florida. The 100-acre (0.40 km2) property was purchased in 1999 from Ted and Trudy Winsberg, who used the property for farming. The Winsbergs sold the property for 1/3 of its appraised value with the condition that it would be made into a wetland. Construction began in July 2003. It was created jointly by the Palm Beach County Utilities Department and the Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation Department in 2004. This park includes 1.5 miles (2.4 km) of an elevated wooden boardwalk, which takes visitors through various habitats, including cabbage palm hammock, cypress swamp, wetland hammock, and tropical hardwood hammock. The boardwalk also features a Seminole chickee hut as well as several gazebos, which have descriptive signs offering information on the wildlife and plant life. The Nature Center showcases exhibits on the water cycle as well as a turtle pond, frog terrarium, American alligator hole with young live alligators, and a wetland diorama. There is also a theater, gift shop, owl, and an exhibition hall inside. The park is a water reclamation facility, and naturally filters millions of gallons of water each day.

St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary is a Roman Catholic seminary located in Boynton Beach, Florida for the education and formation of seminarians to the Roman Catholic priesthood. St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary was established to form men for the diocesan and religious priesthood for the Catholic Church in North America, Central and South America, and the Caribbean. Laity are accepted into the program as well. It serves as the only Roman Catholic theologate in the Southeastern United States (located 1000 miles from the nearest seminary to the north, and 800 miles from the nearest seminary to the west), and serves as only one of two bilingual seminaries in the United States.

WRMF (97.9 FM) is a commercial radio station in Palm Beach, Florida. It serves the northern sections of the Miami metropolitan area, including West Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale. The station airs a hot adult contemporary radio format and is owned by Hubbard Broadcasting. The studios and offices are on Northpoint Parkway in West Palm Beach. For the past three decades, WRMF has been at or close to #1 in the West Palm Beach radio market ratings. WRMF has an effective radiated power of 100,000 watts. The transmitter is in Lake Worth, west of U.S. Route 441. WRMF is licensed to broadcast in the HD Radio digital format. The HD2 subchannel simulcasts the talk radio format on sister station WFTL, while the HD3 subchannel carries Haitian Creole talk and contemporary hits from co-owned WPBR.

WEAT (107.9 FM) is a commercial radio station in West Palm Beach, Florida. It airs a classic hits radio format, switching to Christmas music for much of November and December. It is owned by Hubbard Broadcasting, through licensee WPB FCC License Sub, LLC. The studios and offices are on Northpoint Parkway in West Palm Beach. The station plays 1970s, '80s, and '90s hits from the Top 40 charts of those decades. WEAT has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 100,000 watts. The transmitter is located off Route 7 at 60th Street North in West Palm Beach.

The Gulfstream Polo Club was a polo club in Lake Worth, Florida. Since 1923, Gulfstream Polo Club was one of the most prominent polo clubs in North America, particularly during the Florida season (December–April). Gulfstream was managed by Marla Connor for 18 years until it closed in May 2016 at the end of the polo season. Throughout its long history it offered a wide array of tournaments, with 4, 6, and 10 Goal Leagues as well as Ladies Tournaments.

The Wakodahatchee Wetlands is a park located in Delray Beach, Florida. The park was created on 50 acres (20 ha) of unused utility land and transformed into a recreation wetlands open to the public with a three-quarter mile boardwalk that crosses between open water pond areas, emergent marsh areas, shallow shelves, and islands with shrubs and snags to foster nesting and roosting. The boardwalk has interpretive signage as well as gazebos with benches along the way. This site is part of the South section of the Great Florida Birding Trail and offers many opportunities to observe birds in their natural habitats.

On June 18, 2018, 20-year-old American rapper and singer-songwriter Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, known professionally as XXXTentacion, was murdered in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Onfroy was fatally shot by 22-year-old Michael Boatwright after being robbed in his car by Boatwright and his accomplices Trayvon Newsome, Dedrick Williams, and Robert Allen outside RIVA Motorsports, an upscale seller of motorcycles and watercraft in Deerfield Beach. Authorities charged the four men with first-degree murder and robbery with a firearm. On August 12, 2022, Robert Allen pleaded guilty to robbery with a firearm and to the lesser conviction of second-degree murder in a plea deal in exchange for his testimony against the others. Boatwright, Newsome, and Williams were convicted of first degree murder and robbery with a firearm at their trial on March 20, 2023. On April 6, 2023, Newsome and Williams were sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole; Boatwright received two consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole, plus another consecutive 30 years in prison.On May 17, 2023, Robert Allen was sentenced to 7 years in prison with credit for time served, plus 20 years probation after he is released.
