Forest Hills Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia, United States, is a public facility owned by Augusta University. It features an 18-hole course designed by Donald Ross in 1926, and re-designed by Arnold Palmer Company in 2004. Thirteen of the original holes and the clubhouse survive, though recent renovations have been done to the entryway.

The Stephen Vincent Benét House, commonly referred to as Benét House, is a historic house on the Summerville campus of Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia. The house was built 1827–29 as the Commandant's House of the Augusta Arsenal, and is a much-altered example of Federal period architecture. The house was designated a National Historic Landmark in 1971 for its association with the Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Stephen Vincent Benét (1898–1943), who lived here in the 1910s. The house, which housed the official residence of the Augusta State University for a time, presently houses the Summerville campus's office of admissions.

The Augusta Arsenal was a 19th-century fortification in Augusta, Georgia. Established in 1816 and initially completed on the Georgia bank of the Savannah River in 1819, it was moved to the former Belle Vue estate in the Summerville neighborhood of Augusta in 1827 due to health concerns after several fever epidemics.

Augusta State University was a public university in Augusta, Georgia. It merged with Georgia Health Sciences University in 2012 to form Georgia Regents University, later known as Augusta University.

The George A. Christenberry Fieldhouse is a 3,026 seat facility on the campus of Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia, and is home to the athletics department as well as some classes. It is home to the Augusta Jaguars men's and women's basketball teams as well as the women's volleyball team. The first game at Christenberry Fieldhouse was held on February 2, 1991, against the University of South Carolina, a 76–62 loss. Christenberry Fieldhouse hosted the first four Peach Belt Conference Basketball Championships from 1992 to 1995, and again in 2004 and 2005. In addition, the arena has been the host venue of the NCAA Southeast Region of the NCAA Men's Division II Basketball Championship each year from 2007 through 2011.Augusta University's men's basketball team, which competed as Augusta State University from 1996 to 2012, amassed a winning streak of 48 consecutive games played at Christenberry Fieldhouse that began on December 15, 2008, with an 80–68 defeat of conference foe Georgia College & State University. The streak ended with a 75–73 loss in the 2011 NCAA Southeast Region Championship to Anderson University on March 15, 2011. Entering the 2012–2013 season, the Jaguars had amassed a home record of 74-4 (94.9 win percentage) from the 2007–2008 season through the 2011–2012 season. In October 2011, a set of bleachers were added to one end zone of Christenberry Fieldhouse. The new bleachers are the new location of Augusta University's student section, known as "JagSwag". These new bleachers officially hold room for 405 spectators, raising the official capacity of the Fieldhouse from 2,216 to 2,621. A second set of bleachers were added to the opposite end zone during the 2012 offseason, boosting the official seating capacity to its current figure of 3,026. The record attendance of 3,718 was set on February 3, 2010, in a 73–59 win over archrival University of South Carolina Aiken. This figure also marked the highest attendance ever to witness an Augusta State athletic event, and also marked a new Peach Belt Conference attendance record.The Fieldhouse hosts many events, ranging from the Elite32 Summer Jam to badminton leagues and Tai Chi classes.Then-President Bill Clinton visited the venue on February 5, 1997. There is a plaque located near the main entrance to the arena honoring his visit.

University Hospital Summerville was founded in 1952, as a private Roman Catholic tertiary care facility known as St. Joseph Hospital located in Augusta, Georgia. The hospital is known for its comprehensive diagnostic services, including cardiac catheterization, magnetic resonance imaging, and osteoporosis treatment.

Summerville, (commonly referred to locally as "The Hill"), is a large, affluent residential area and historic district located northwest of downtown Augusta, Georgia. The district is site of the historic homes of John Milledge, George Walton, and Thomas Cumming.

Westminster Schools of Augusta was founded in 1972 as a private, Christian, college-preparatory school located in the western section of Augusta, Georgia, United States. It serves students in grades pre-kindergarten through 12. The school is divided into three age groups, lower (pre-K to grade five), middle (grades six to eight), and upper (grades nine to 12). The school consists of two main areas on its 34 acres (140,000 m2) campus. The original houses with the newest building, Knox Hall, which was opened in 2017, house grades six through 12. Pamplin Hall, constructed in 1999, houses pre-kindergarten through grade five.

The Sand Hills Historic District in Augusta, Georgia is a historic district which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. The district included 334 contributing buildings and a contributing site in a 231 acres (0.93 km2) area roughly bounded by Monte Sano and North View Aves., Mount Auburn St., Johns Rd., and the Augusta Country Club.It is also known as Elizabethtown Historic District. The district "is a historic African-American neighborhood located in the western part of Augusta adjacent to the National Register-listed Summerville Historic District. The neighborhood is laid out in an incomplete grid pattern and consists of a historic African-American cemetery, residential buildings, commercial buildings, community landmark buildings, and landscaped yards and median of a road. The neighborhood's development is closely associated with the development of the Summerville neighborhood. The Sand Hills Historic District has statewide significance in the areas of Architecture, Ethnic Heritage: African American, Community Planning and Development, and Landscape Architecture."It is roughly bounded by Monte Sano Ave., North View Avenue, Mount Auburn Street, Johns Road, and the Augusta Country Club.It borders on the Augusta Country Club, which itself borders on the Augusta National Golf Club.

College Hill, also known as George Walton House, Harper House, or Walton-Harper House, is a historic house at 2116 Wrightsboro Road in Augusta, Georgia. It was built in 1795, and was the home George Walton, a signer of the United States Declaration of Independence, from then until his death in 1804. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1971. It is a private residence, and is not open to the public.
