Gmina Nieporęt

Nieporęt [ɲɛˈpɔrɛnt] is a village in Legionowo County, Masovian Voivodeship in east-central Poland. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Nieporęt. It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) east of Legionowo and 24 km (15 mi) north of Warsaw.

Zegrze [ˈzɛɡʐɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Serock, within Legionowo County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It lies approximately 7 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Serock, 11 km (7 mi) north-east of Legionowo, and 28 km (17 mi) north of Warsaw. The village gave its name to the nearby Zegrze Reservoir, a man-made lake constructed in 1963 with a hydroelectric complex producing 20 Megawatts of power, a popular place of recreation for the residents of Warsaw.is the location of a historic palace built in 1847 by the noble Krasiński family, given as a dowry of Jadwiga Krasińska in 1862, to her new husband Prince Maciej Radziwiłł. The palace, surrounded by a park, serves as a convention centre and a small hotel.

Izabelin [izaˈbɛlin] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Nieporęt, within Legionowo County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) south-east of Nieporęt, 10 km (6 mi) east of Legionowo, and 20 km (12 mi) north of Warsaw. The village has a population of 226.

The Zegrze Fortress (Polish: Twierdza Zegrze) is a military structure located in Zegrze, Poland, on a high escarpment over the Narew River. Built in late 19th century by the Russian Empire, it was to guard a river crossing across the Narew. Modernised between 1902 and 1907, it was part of the so-called Warsaw Fortified Area (Russian: Варшавской укрепленной район) comprising three major nodes: the Warsaw Fortress, Modlin Fortress and Zegrze. The main body of the fortress consisted of two forts joined with an earthwork fortification, the so-called Large Fortification (Polish: Umocnienie Duże, Fort Ordon) and Small Fortification (Polish: Umocnienie Małe, Fort Karlinek). In addition to that, the fortress also commanded two additional forts: Fort Dębe located some 10 kilometres downstream, in the direction of Modlin, and Fort Beniaminów located across Narew. Apart from fortifications, the complex also included barracks at Beniaminów, Zagroby and Zegrze, seven munitions depots and a garrison church. The fortress took part in the Great Retreat of the Russian forces from Poland in 1915, during World War I. After 1918 it was taken over by Poland and took part in the battle of Warsaw of 1920 and later the defence against the Nazi and Soviet invasion of Poland in 1939. In recent years the Large Fortification was acquired by the National Bank of Poland.

Zegrze Południowe [ˈzɛɡʐɛ pɔwudˈɲɔvɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Nieporęt, within Legionowo County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north-west of Nieporęt, 9 km (6 mi) north-east of Legionowo, and 27 km (17 mi) north of Warsaw. Zegrze Południowe is the terminus of a 3.5 kilometres (2.2 mi) long railway line from Wieliszew, but passenger service on the line ceased in 1994. In late 2019, Polish railway infrastructure manager PKP PLK called for tenders for the works required to reopen the line, which was reopened to passengers in June 2023. It is currently the terminus of the SKM line S4.

It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) south of Nieporęt, 9 km (6 mi) east of Legionowo, and 19 km (12 mi) north of Warsaw. The village has a population of 1,102.

Rembelszczyzna [rɛmbɛlʂˈt͡ʂɨzna] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Nieporęt, within Legionowo County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south of Nieporęt, 9 km (6 mi) east of Legionowo, and 19 km (12 mi) north of Warsaw. As of 29 October 2008, the parish had 235 hectares of land and 483 inhabitants.

Józefów (Polish pronunciation: [juˈzɛfuf]) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Nieporęt, within Legionowo County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It lies approximately 6 kilometres (4 mi) south-west of Nieporęt, 6 km (4 mi) east of Legionowo, and 19 km (12 mi) north of Warsaw. The village has a parish church, Parafia pw. Najświętszej Maryi Panny Królowej w Józefowie k. Legionowa, built in 1997–2004.
