Wallington, Victoria

Designed by Melbourne architect Kerstin Thompson from 1999–2002, House at Lake Connewarre is located in Leopold, Victoria. It is a house characterised by its black, flat, long roof blending into the landscape around Lake Connewarre. The architect described the house as “a simple gesture across the landscape”. The house is an attempt to create dialogue with nature in a poetic way and the house design is strongly influenced by the landscape.

Leopold is a residential eastern suburb of Geelong and is a gateway to the Bellarine Peninsula. At the 2016 census, Leopold had a population of 12,814.

Curlewis is a bounded rural locality of the City of Greater Geelong local government area on the Bellarine Peninsula, Victoria, Australia. At the 2021 census, Curlewis had a population of 4,175. Its surrounding suburbs are Drysdale, Leopold and Wallington, with waterfront access to Port Phillip Bay to the north.

Adventure Park is Victoria's biggest water theme park. The park offers many rides and attractions such as water slides, water playgrounds, action rides and family rides. The park was the first water park in Victoria, though has since also installed dry theme park attractions, such as a Crazy Coaster and a Ferris wheel.

Lake Connewarre (Aboriginal Wathawurrung language: Kunawarr keelingk literally meaning black swan lake), a shallow estuarine 880-hectare (2,200-acre) lake on the Barwon River, is located on the Bellarine Peninsula southeast of Geelong in the Australian state of Victoria.

The Bellarine Wetlands Important Bird Area comprises a group of wetland sites, with a collective area of 46 km2, at the western end of the Bellarine Peninsula in Victoria, south-eastern Australia. The site is important for waterbirds and orange-bellied parrots.

The Bellarine Peninsula (Wadawurrung: Balla-wein or Biteyong) is a peninsula located south-west of Melbourne in Victoria, Australia, surrounded by Port Phillip, Corio Bay and Bass Strait. The peninsula, together with the Mornington Peninsula, separates Port Phillip Bay from Bass Strait. The peninsula itself was originally occupied by Indigenous Australian clans of the Wadawurrung nation, prior to European settlement in the early 19th century. Early European settlements were initially centred on wheat and grain agriculture, before the area became a popular tourist destination with most visitors arriving by paddle steamer on Port Phillip in the late 19th century. Today, approximately 70,000 people live on the Bellarine, and this population doubles at peak periods during summer. The peninsula is a growing tourist region with a variety of beaches and seaside resorts and wineries; most of the peninsula is a part of the City of Greater Geelong.

Moolap () is a residential and industrial suburb of Geelong, Victoria, Australia. The name Moolap is derived from an Aboriginal word for nearby Point Henry, moo-laa, thought to mean 'men gathering to go fishing'.Moolap is located in the City of Greater Geelong. At the 2016 census Moolap had a population of 1,373.

Ocean Grove is a seaside town in Victoria, Australia, located on the Bellarine Peninsula. At the 2016 census, Ocean Grove had a population of 14,165.

The Ocean Grove Nature Reserve is a rectangular, 1.43 km2 nature reserve next to the town of Ocean Grove and 25 km south-east of the city of Geelong, on the Bellarine Peninsula, Victoria, Australia. It contains the only significant remnant of native woodland on the Bellarine Peninsula as it was prior to European settlement and the extensive land clearing that ensued. It is surrounded by agricultural land and a housing estate and is managed by Parks Victoria. Records of its birdlife illustrate the changes occurring in an isolated woodland remnant.
