Alexander Brown House

Trinity Episcopal Church, now known as the Faith by Love Church, is a historic Episcopal church located in the Southwest / Near Westside neighborhood of Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York. The church was built in 1914–1915, and is a one-story, Collegiate Gothic style stone building. It has a steeply pitched front gable slate roof and a massive square tower with corner buttresses. Also on the property is the contributing Parish House. It is a two-story, Second Empire style frame dwelling with a mansard roof. The Jaynes Memorial Hall was added to the rear of the Parish House in 1926. The congregation was established in 1855, and remained at the location until 1994.: 4 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.The Trinity Church, Leyfield Parish House and William J. Gillett House were listed as sold in December 2017, for $185,000.

The William J. Gillett House, also known as Trinity Exchange Shop Building or William J. Gillett Residence, is a building in Syracuse, New York. It was designed by William J. Gillett. Gillett was born in 1840 and served in the Union Army during the American Civil War. He designed and built this house ca. 1875, and died in 1903.It was listed in 1982 for its architecture. A local neighborhood group purchased the property, along with the Trinity Episcopal Church next door, in 2018. They expected to begin stabilization and renovations of the structure in 2023.

Westside is a Syracuse, New York neighborhood, directly west of Downtown Syracuse. It corresponds to Onondaga County Census Tracts 21 and 22. Several families of Polish descent, even direct immigrants, still live in the neighborhood. The Polish Home, a banquet and bar facility on Park Avenue, serves as a major neighborhood meeting facility. While the neighborhood lacks pedestrian-friendly connections to its neighbors, the Lakefront, Near Westside, Far Westside, and downtown, it is served by three major bus corridors that pass along the north, south, and through the center of the neighborhood. The Westside of Syracuse is known for its large and continuously growing Hispanic population. This neighborhood is full of businesses that are owned by, and cater to, Spanish speaking clients. The C.G. Meaker Food Company Warehouse, Harriet May Mills House, St. Paul's Armenian Apostolic Church, Alton Simmons House, and West Brothers Knitting Company are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Lipe Art Park is a public art project and outdoor art venue, and a public recreation space, comprising approximately 2 acres (0.81 ha) of vacant greenspace located on West Fayette Street in Syracuse, New York in the Warehouse District. The park began in 2007 as a project of (R)Evolution studios, a local artist group, and Syracuse's Public Arts Task Force (a sub-group within "40 Below", a project of the city's Metropolitan Development Agency). Its initial aim was to use an urban vacant lot as a space for creative activity for the community.

The Onondaga Creekwalk is a mostly paved, partly bricked, multi-use trail running 4.8 miles (7.7 km) in Syracuse, New York, which has so far seen more than three decades of planning, construction, and delays, starting in 1988. The trail is designed for bicyclists, skaters, and pedestrians to approximately parallel any desired portion of Onondaga Creek's run connecting Kirk Park on Syracuse's South Side, downstream through downtown at Armory Square, and then on to Onondaga Lake at the creek's ultimate mouth. During both of the two overall phases completed so far, designers were able to route the trail partly as a brand new, dedicated path that stayed within view of Onondaga Creek. Other parts were built as compromises in the face of creekside obstacles, generally co-locating the trail with pre-existing street and sidewalk pavement, usually at a significant distance from the water. When added to pre-existing parkways and city streets paralleling Onondaga Creek between West Colvin Street at Kirk Park, upstream to Ballantyne Road in The Valley neighborhood, the total available creekway distance can be interpreted as a paved run of 6.1 miles (9.8 km).
