Cedar Hill Cemetery (Hartford, Connecticut)

The Engine Company 9 Fire Station is located at 655 New Britain Avenue in Hartford, Connecticut. Built in 1929, it is a distinctive application of the Tudor Revival to firehouse design, and it was one of the city's first "suburban" fire stations, set in an originally less-developed outlying area. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 2, 1989. It continues to serve its original function, housing Engine Company 9 of the Hartford Fire Department.

Northam Memorial Chapel and Gallup Memorial Gateway, also known as Cedar Hill Chapel and Gateway, are a historic chapel and gateway in the Cedar Hill Cemetery at 453 Fairfield Avenue in Hartford, Connecticut, USA. Although not part of that cemetery's original rural cemetery design, they are a prominent work of architect George Keller, designed in 1882 and completed in 1889. The Gothic Revival structures were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

It opened with the line on March 28, 2015. The station consists of one island platform to the side of the busway, with passing lanes to allow express buses to pass buses stopped at the station. A CTrail Hartford Line commuter rail platform is planned to open in 2022 under the name West Hartford.

W1AW is both the amateur radio call sign and the primary operating station of the American Radio Relay League (ARRL). This station, which is commonly called the Hiram Percy Maxim Memorial Station, is located on the grounds of ARRL Headquarters in Newington, Connecticut. It was inspired by Maxim's 1AW callsign which predated the use of the AA-AL, K, N and W prefixes. The station routinely transmits bulletins and Morse code practice using common amateur radio frequencies. During a communications emergency bulletins are transmitted hourly in order to keep amateur radio operators informed.

Colt's Manufacturing Company, LLC (CMC, formerly Colt's Patent Firearms Manufacturing Company) is an American firearms manufacturer, founded in 1855 by Samuel Colt and is now a subsidiary of Czech holding company Colt CZ Group. It is the successor corporation to Colt's earlier firearms-making efforts, which started in 1836. Colt is known for the engineering, production, and marketing of firearms, most especially between the 1850s and World War I, when it was a dominating force in its industry and a seminal influence on manufacturing technology. Colt's earliest designs played a major role in the popularization of the revolver and the shift away from earlier single-shot pistols. Although Samuel Colt did not invent the revolver concept, his designs resulted in the first very successful ones. The most famous Colt products include the Colt Walker, made in 1847 in the facilities of Eli Whitney Jr., the Colt Single Action Army or Peacemaker, the Colt Python, and the Colt M1911 pistol, which is currently the longest-standing military and law enforcement service handgun in the world and is still used today. The two companies remained in the same West Hartford, Connecticut location cross-licensing certain merchandise before reuniting in 2013. Following the loss of its M4 contract in 2013, the reunited Colt was briefly in Chapter 11 bankruptcy, starting in 2015 and emerging in January 2016. The company was bought by Česká zbrojovka Group in 2021. In April 2022, Česká zbrojovka Group announced it had changed its name to Colt CZ Group.
