Alinea is a restaurant in Chicago, Illinois, United States. In 2010, Alinea was awarded three stars from the Michelin Guide. As of April 2021, Alinea is the only Chicago restaurant to retain a three-star status, Michelin's highest accolade.

Halsted was a station on the Chicago Transit Authority's North Side Main Line, which is now part of the Brown Line. The station was located at 1618 N. Halsted Street in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. Halsted was situated south of Armitage (and, until 1942, south of Willow) and north of Larrabee, which closed at the same time as Halsted. It was one of only four "L" stations that were built on s-curves; Sheridan, Indiana, and Sacramento were the other three. Halsted opened on May 31, 1900, and closed on August 1, 1949, along with 22 other stations as part of a CTA service revision.

Boka is a Chicago restaurant which has retained a one-star ranking from the Michelin Guide since 2010. Its name is a portmanteau of the surnames of its founders, Kevin Boehm and Rob Katz. Boka received 3 stars from the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Magazine. The executive chef is Lee Wolen. Boka won Chef of the Year for Lee Wolen in 2015 in the Chicago Tribune, and Restaurant of the Year at the Jean Banchet Awards. Wolen was also awarded the best Chef in America award from Highlights magazine.

The Yondorf Block and Hall is a historic building at 758 W. North Avenue in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The building was built in 1887 to serve as a meeting hall for the various social organizations in Lincoln Park; while its first floor was dedicated to retail space, it had six meeting rooms on its upper floors. Chapters of national fraternal organizations and ethnic clubs formed by immigrants in the neighborhood met in the building, and its largest hall hosted speeches and performances as well. Designed by Frederick Alschlager, the building combines Victorian Gothic and Romanesque Revival elements. While its terra cotta clad storefronts and metal cornice are typical of the former style, its use of decorative brickwork and stone is inspired by the latter.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 13, 1984.

North/Clybourn (read as "North and Clybourn") is an "L" station on the CTA's Red Line. It is a subway station with two side platforms, located at 1599 North Clybourn Avenue, in the Near North Side neighborhood of Chicago, at the southeastern edge of the commercial Clybourn Corridor. North/Clybourn station is located at the intersection of North Avenue, Halsted Street, and Clybourn Avenue. North/Clybourn was opened on October 17, 1943.

Willow was a station on the Chicago Rapid Transit Company's North Side Main Line, which is now part of the Chicago Transit Authority's Brown Line. The station was located at 940-44 W. Willow Street in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. Willow was situated south of Armitage and north of Halsted, which is now closed. Willow opened in 1905 and closed on May 17, 1942, to allow for the construction of a new portal to the State Street subway.

The Clybourn Corridor is a shopping district in Lincoln Park, stretching into the Near North Side in Chicago, Illinois. It serves as the residential Northside's main shopping district and includes retailers like Apple Inc., Crate & Barrel & CB2, Eddie Bauer, Forever 21, and Sur La Table, among many others. The newly opened New City shopping center includes Dick's Sporting Goods, while also having Chicago's first ArcLight Cinemas, a Kings Bowl, and Chicago's largest Mariano's grocery store. The development also includes a sleek-looking apartment tower featuring 199 units. This is part of a continuing trend of adding apartments and condos to the corridor in an effort to stem rising prices in the surrounding area. The CTA Red Line stops in the heart of the shopping district at North/Clybourn. In a dual effort, Apple Inc. and the CTA redesigned a former bus turnaround separating the Apple Store and CTA Station into a pedestrian plaza with Parisian park chairs and a water feature. The plaza serves as a refuge from the chaotic Clybourn/Halsted/North intersection and has proven a popular meeting place for commuters and shoppers alike.

The Roger Brown Home and Studio is a historic building at 1926 N. Halsted Street in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. The building was the home of artist Roger Brown, an influential figure in the Chicago Imagists movement of the mid-twentieth century. Locally, Brown's art has been featured in the Art Institute of Chicago and on the front of 120 North LaSalle; on a national level, his works graced the cover of two issues of Time and have appeared in the New York Times and several major American art museums. Though it was constructed as a store in 1888, Brown and his partner George Veronda purchased the building in 1974 and converted it to a studio and living space. Brown's artistic style inspired his redesign of the home and its back garden; in turn, the home inspired many similar buildings in his artwork. Brown lived and worked in the home until his death in 1997.The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places on February 22, 2011.

British International School of Chicago, Lincoln Park (BISC Lincoln Park) is a private international school for Pre Nursery to Year 6 students (ages 15+ months to 11) located in the Clybourn Corridor of Cook County, Illinois. In September 2001, BISC Lincoln Park was the fourth school to open in the United States by the British Schools of America and first campus to open in the Midwest. The private elementary school is divided into three learning stages: Early Years Foundation Stage (pre nursery, nursery school and Pre-K, ages 15+ months to 5), Key Stage 1 (primary school, ages 5 to 7), and Key Stage 2 (primary school, ages 7 to 11).

RANCH Triangle is a small neighborhood within Lincoln Park, Chicago. The word is an acronym composed of the boundaries of the neighborhood: Racine Avenue, Armitage Avenue, North Avenue, the Chicago River and Halsted Street. The neighborhood is largely residential, and known for its historic brownstones, parks, and theaters such as The Steppenwolf. The nonprofit community organization RANCH Triangle Community Conservation Association was founded in 1963 to promote the interests of neighborhood residents.

iO, or iO Chicago, (formerly known as "ImprovOlympic") was an improv theater and training center in central Chicago, with a former branch in Los Angeles called iO West and in Raleigh, North Carolina called iO South. The theater taught and hosted performances of improvisational comedy. It was founded in 1981 by Del Close and Charna Halpern. The theater has many notable alumni, including Amy Poehler and Stephen Colbert.The theatre closed in 2020, though the building was purchased in 2021 with hopes of reopening.

1800 N. Clybourn was an enclosed shopping center located at 1800 N. Clybourn Ave. in the Clybourn Corridor area of Lincoln Park, Chicago. The building was once a factory making springs and later Turtle Wax, which was converted to a three-level enclosed specialty shopping center that retained the structure's wood beams and brickwork. At its opening, developer Tem Horwitz described it as "an industrial environment with the atmosphere of a traveling fair come to town." News reports pointed out the interior's exuberant architecture and unconventional merchandising plan, and that only half its 40 spaces were leased at its opening. Among the tenants in 1990 included "pricey apparel and accessories stores, gift shops, and such services as a travel agency, a nail salon and a family aerobics club," plus restaurants and entertainment venues like "Goose Island Brewery; Metropolis 1800; Par Excellence, an artist-designed miniature golf course; Muddler's Pool Room; and its adjoining espresso bar, Caffe Lupi." Entertainment was a major focus; the mall opened with Willow Street Carnival, a 450-seat cabaret-style theater founded by Bernard Sahlins, and had proposed a 10-screen cinema on site.What Horwitz called a "wild and crazy and fun" mall did not last long amidst a recession, and the building was foreclosed upon in April 1993 amidst numerous store closures. The building was soon purchased by CRM Properties, which demolished the richly decorated enclosed courts and left three buildings separated by parking lots. As of 2015, one large L-shaped building houses anchor Bed Bath & Beyond, Goose Island Brewery (the only original tenant remaining), plus a furniture retailer and real estate offices on upper floors. Two smaller buildings house Patagonia and GapKids. The building's pair of crenellated, four-story towers still face Clybourn, but much of the structure between them was demolished.
