Beverly Center

Beverly Park was an amusement park located in Los Angeles, California, at the corner of Beverly Boulevard and La Cienega. Owned and operated by David Bradley from 1943 to 1974, it was considered an important source of attractions for children during the 1950s. It was also an important source of inspiration for Walt Disney who, following Bradley's example, later founded Disneyland. The area welcomed a significant amount of citizens and visitors, so Beverly Park and the other Kiddielands experienced popularity and success during their operating years.

The studio zone, also known as the thirty-mile zone (TMZ), is an area defined by a 30-mile (48 km) radius of "Hollywood" used by the American entertainment industry to determine employee benefits for filmwork done within it. Its center has traditionally been regarded as the southeast corner of Beverly Boulevard and La Cienega Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. The boundaries of the 30-mile radius includes almost all of the southern half of Los Angeles County, as well as parts of eastern Ventura County and northwestern Orange County.

The Beverly Connection is a large power center in Beverly Grove, Los Angeles, across La Cienega Boulevard from the Beverly Center mall. It was originally proposed to be 1,100,000 square feet (100,000 m2) in size but was scaled down to its opening size of 296,000 square feet (27,500 m2) due to concerns about traffic congestion, availability of parking and overdevelopment in the neighborhood.It opened in January 1989 with anchors including a Ralphs supermarket, Cost Plus Imports, Physico Fitness Superstores, The Wherehouse record store. Later a cinema multiplex opened in the complex, as General Cinemas, later AMC Theatres. The original design had 358,117 square feet of commercial space including retail and restaurants, the 1,875-seat theater complex and approximately 28,868 square feet of office space. The center was renovated in 2006–7; the cinemas were demolished and the center added condominiums and assisted living residences.

The Coronet Theatre is a theatre located at 366 North La Cienega Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. During its peak in the mid 20th century, the theatre was an art and experimental movie venue, showing the work of people such as Kenneth Anger, Man Ray, Peter Berg, and Richard Vetere. Over the years its stage has hosted such stars as John Houseman, Charles Laughton, Charlton Heston, Buster Keaton, Ethel Waters, James Coburn, George C. Scott, Carol Burnett, Noah Wyle, and Glenn Close.The Coronet theatre was built in 1947 by Frieda Berkoff of the Russian dancing family, the Berkoffs, and thrived until June 2, 2008 when it was bought on by Mark Flanagan, the owner of Los Angeles's Club Largo. Flanagan moved his entire operation to the new location and renamed it Largo at the Coronet. It now operates as a music and comedy club.On July 6, 2020, the late night talk show Conan began filming from the Coronet Theatre with limited on-site staff and no audience, as part of a transition from at-home production necessitated by the COVID-19 pandemic (and marking the first U.S. late-night show to transition from at-home episodes); the show's usual set at Warner Bros. Studios, Burbank had already been dismantled. Conan remained at the Coronet through its series finale on June 24, 2021, with its final two weeks of episodes admitting a fully-vaccinated audience.
