St. Michael's Episcopal Cathedral is an Episcopal cathedral in Boise, Idaho, United States. It is the seat of the Diocese of Idaho.

The Episcopal Diocese of Idaho is the diocese of the Episcopal Church in the United States of America, with jurisdiction over Idaho south of the Salmon River, and one congregation in western Wyoming. Located in Province 8, its cathedral is St. Michael's in Boise, as are the diocesan offices.Congregations in northern Idaho are part of the Episcopal Diocese of Spokane.

The Idaho State Capitol in Boise is the home of the government of the U.S. state of Idaho. Although Lewiston briefly served as Idaho's capital from the formation of Idaho Territory in 1863, the territorial legislature moved it to Boise on December 24, 1864.Construction of the first portion of the capitol building began in the summer of 1905, fifteen years after statehood, and the architects were John E. Tourtellotte and Charles Hummel. Tourtellotte was a Connecticut native whose career began in Massachusetts and continued when he moved to Boise. Hummel was a German immigrant who partnered with Tourtellotte in 1901. The final cost of the building was just over $2 million; it was completed in 1920. The architects used varied materials to construct the building and their design was inspired by Classical examples. Its sandstone exterior is from the state-owned quarry at nearby Table Rock. The building was included in the Boise Capitol Area District listing on the National Register of Historic Places on May 12, 1976.

The Carnegie Public Library (Boise, Idaho) is a Neoclassical building designed by Tourtellotte & Co. and constructed in Boise, Idaho, in 1904–1905. It was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1974. In 1982 it was included as a contributing property in the Fort Street Historic District.

Bishop Daniel S. Tuttle House is a nonresidential building adjacent to St. Michael's Episcopal Cathedral in Boise, Idaho. The building was designed by local architects Wayland & Fennell and constructed in 1907 under the direction of Bishop Funsten of the Episcopal Diocese of Idaho, and the building commemorates the work of Daniel S. Tuttle, first bishop of Idaho.

The Elks Temple in Boise, Idaho was built during 1913-1914 and expanded during 1923–34. It is a four-story, five-bay building in "Italian Palazzo Style". It has served as a clubhouse of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks organization. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.It was designed by Tourtellotte & Hummel and has an unusual cornice, plus an elk head on its front facade with light bulbs at the antler tips (elk head was removed when the Boise Elk's relocated to a new temple); it is a Boise landmark, and according to its NRHP nomination is "one of the city's better buildings from the pre-World War I period." Its interior was heavily damaged in a 1943 fire.

The Idaho Building in Boise, Idaho, is a 6-story, Second Renaissance Revival commercial structure designed by Tourtellotte & Co. Constructed for Boise City real estate developer Walter E. Pierce in 1910–11, the building represented local aspirations that Boise City would become another Chicago. The facade features brick pilasters above a ground floor stone base, separated by seven bays with large plate glass windows in each bay. Terracotta separates the floors, with ornamentation at the sixth floor below a denticulated cornice of galvanized iron.The building replaced Thompson's Livery barn at 8th and Bannock Streets. The Chicago firm of H. Ellenberger was responsible for construction, and the Idaho Statesman said of the building in 1911, "The architectural scheme is one of extreme simplicity, and the builder has given his work the appearance of massive solidity."The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places December 8, 1978.

The Hill City Christian Church (previously Capital City Christian Church) in Boise, Idaho is a historic church at 9th and Franklin Streets. The Romanesque-style church was built in 1910-1911 and individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978. In 1982 it was included as a contributing property in the Fort Street Historic District.It was deemed "architecturally significant as a good example of the brick Romanesque style applied to an ecclesiastical building. Following the Joplin plan, a standard Christian church design of the period, it is similar to other Christian churches throughout the nation, including the one in Eugene, Oregon. Its hexagonal dome, offset by the two large gables, is rare in Idaho and makes the building a landmark. The stained glass windows are of high quality and exhibit good craftsmanship, as does the interior woodwork. The Balcom and Vaughan theater organ, manufactured in Seattle, is one of the two extant vacuum operated theater organs in Boise (the other is in the Ada Theater)."Stonework was by mason Charles Storey, who also worked on Boise's St. John's cathedral and the State Capitol.

Boise High School is a public secondary school in Boise, Idaho, one of five traditional high schools within the city limits, four of which are in the Boise School District. A three-year comprehensive high school, Boise High is located on the outlying edge of the city's downtown business core. The enrollment for the 2014–15 school year was approximately 1,481.

The Eichelberger Apartments in Boise, Idaho, is a 2-story, Colonial Revival building designed by Tourtellotte & Hummel and constructed in 1910. The U-shape, brick and stucco design features corner quoins and keystoned windows with a roofline parapet covered between crested pilasters. It was included as a contributing property in the Fort Street Historic District on November 12, 1982. The building was individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 17, 1982.
