Nashville City Center

The Rich–Schwartz Building is a historic building in Nashville, Tennessee. Also known as the Rich, Schwartz & Joseph building, it is named for Julius Rich, Leo Schwartz, and Arthur Joseph.

The James K. Polk State Office Building is a 24-story, 392-foot (119 m) building in Nashville, Tennessee. Completed in 1981, the building was constructed on the site of the Andrew Jackson Hotel and is home to offices for state employees, the Tennessee State Museum's collection, and the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. The building's unique construction has a center core that resembles a box made from structural steel from the ground to top floor. Starting at the top, each floor is supported by hanging from the core. This design leaves the area surrounding the core on the ground levels open and free from any columns.

The Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC) is located in the James K. Polk Cultural Center at 505 Deaderick Street in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. It occupies a city block between 5th and 6th Avenues North and Deaderick and Union Streets. The cultural center adjoins the 18-story James K. Polk State Office Building.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) is the department of transportation for the State of Tennessee, with multimodal responsibilities in roadways, aviation, public transit, waterways, and railroads. It was established in 1915 as the Tennessee Department of Highways and Public Works, and renamed the Tennessee Department of Transportation in 1972. The core agency mission of TDOT is to provide a safe and reliable transportation system for people, goods, and services that supports economic prosperity in Tennessee. Since 1998, TDOT has been ranked amongst the top five in the nation for quality highway infrastructure. It is primarily headquartered in downtown Nashville and operates four regional offices in Chattanooga, Jackson, Knoxville, and Nashville.

Fifth Avenue Historic District is a historic neighborhood in Nashville, Tennessee. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places listings in Davidson County, Tennessee (NRHP) in 1983.

The Philips Plaza is a high-rise office building in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, which was renamed from the Bank of America Plaza in 2018. Philips Plaza is the 20th tallest building in Nashville, with 20 stories and a height of 291 ft (89 m).In 2002, the building's owners, Parkway Properties, announced a complete renovation to the building, significantly altering its appearance. Included in the renovation was the installation of new, blue tinted glass, replacing its original red tinted glass, and the construction of a new plaza around the building. There is a statue of Chet Atkins outside the corner entrance. The building was constructed in conjunction with the Doubletree Hotel building on the same lot, which is much smaller at 12 stories and 124 ft. There is a landscaped plaza connecting the two structures in the middle. The building was acquired in July 2013 by Virginia-based Commercial Real Estate company, Lingerfelt Companies.

The Tennessee Theatre was a 2,028 seat, single screen movie and stage theater at 535 Church Street, in Nashville, Tennessee was opened on February 28, 1952. It was built with the designs of architect Joseph W. Holman in the shell of the 11-story, Art Deco Sudekum Building, also known as Warner building, that was completed in 1932, The theater was demolished in the 1980s. The high rise office building was imploded on November 29, 1992 The Cumberland Apartment high-rise now sits on the site. The theater hosted the first Grammy Awards ceremony not held in either Los Angeles or New York City in 1973 — it would be 49 years until the Grammys were held outside those two cities (Las Vegas).

The Sheraton Nashville Downtown Hotel is a high-rise hotel and restaurant in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. Sheraton Nashville Downtown’s multimillion-dollar transformation was conceptualized by New York–based designer Anna Busta. The Sheraton is the 12th tallest building in Nashville, with 27 stories and a height of 300 ft (91 m).It is notable on the Nashville skyline for its prominent rooftop. In August 2012, the hotel was acquired by the JRK Hotel Group, a subsidiary of JRK Property Holdings.

Andrew Jackson State Office Building is a skyscraper in Nashville, Tennessee, U.S.. It was designed in the International Style by Taylor & Crabtree, and completed in 1969. Its construction cost $10 million (equivalent to $61.5 million in 2022).Initial tenants in 1970 included the "Tennessee Department of Personnel, Revenue and Corrections, Higher Education Commission, Industrial Development, and some branches of the State's Comptroller's Office" as well as the Tennessee Department of Safety.It was named for President Andrew Jackson. The adjacent Rachel Jackson State Office Building is named for the first lady.

The Fifth Third Center in Nashville, Tennessee, is a 31-story, 490-foot-tall (150 m) skyscraper. It was constructed in 1986 and is located on Church Street and Fifth Avenue North. It was the tallest building in both Nashville and Tennessee for eight years, until it was surpassed by the AT&T Building in 1994. It serves as the home to Fifth Third Bank's Nashville headquarters.
