Suchy Las

Gmina Suchy Las is a rural gmina (administrative district) in Poznań County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. Its seat is the village of Suchy Las, which lies to the immediate north of the city of Poznań. The gmina covers an area of 116.55 square kilometres (45.0 sq mi), and as of 2096 its total population is 13,219.

Podolany [pɔdɔˈlanɨ] is a suburban neighbourhood of the city of Poznań in western Poland, located in the north-west of the city. Podolany was incorporated into the city partly in 1933, and partly under German occupation in 1940–42. It is mainly a residential district, but its southern parts contain industrial sites. Podolany is one of the 42 osiedles into which Poznań is divided (see Administrative division of Poznań). It is a part of the former wider district of Jeżyce. Podolany is bounded to the west by the main railway line running northwards towards Piła. In the north-west corner of the district is the station Poznań Strzeszyn (named after Strzeszyn, a neighbourhood further to the west). Podolany is also served by a number of bus routes connecting it with the city centre.

Morasko [mɔˈraskɔ] is a part of the Stare Miasto district of Poznań, in western Poland. It covers a fairly large but little-urbanised area in the north of the city. To the west and north it borders on the village and municipality of Suchy Las, a developing area of suburban housing. To the east of Morasko are the neighbourhoods of Umultowo and Radojewo, and to the south is the densely built residential area of Piątkowo. For governmental purposes, Morasko is part of the osiedle of Morasko-Radojewo.

The Morasko meteorite nature reserve (Polish: Rezerwat przyrody meteoryt Morasko) is located in Morasko, on the northern edge of the city of Poznań, Poland. It contains seven meteor craters. The reserve has an area of 55 hectares (136 acres) and was established in 1976.

Glinno [ˈɡlinnɔ] (German: Lehmberg) is a former village in the administrative district of Gmina Suchy Las, within Poznań County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) north of Suchy Las and 12 km (7 mi) north of the regional capital Poznań. The site of the village is now within the area of the military training ground centred on Biedrusko.

Piątkowo [pjɔntˈkɔvɔ] is a part of the city of Poznań in western Poland. It consists mainly of large estates of blocks of flats, built from the late 1970s onwards. Piątkowo is situated in the northern part of the city, north of Winogrady (an area of similar character), and south of the less intensively developed neighbourhood of Morasko. Piątkowo is the name given to one of the 42 osiedles (city governmental units) into which Poznań is divided, although this does not cover the whole of the area generally referred to as Piątkowo. Łagiewniki [waɡʲɛvˈniki] (German: Erdmannswalde) is a former village in the administrative district of Gmina Suchy Las, within Poznań County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.The site of the village is now within the area of the military training ground centred on Biedrusko.

Muzeum Broni Pancernej Centrum Szkolenia Wojsk Lądowych im. Hetmana Polnego Koronnego Stefana Czarnieckiego w Poznaniu, abbreviated Muzeum Broni Pancernej CSWL (Armoured Warfare Museum) is a large collection of military vehicles, formerly located within Land Forces Training Center in Poznań, Poland. The museum has the largest collection of armoured fighting vehicles in Poland, displaying around 60 vehicles from the First World War, interwar, Second World War and Cold War periods. In 2018, the old museum was closed to visitors; it was re-opened in early 2019 in a new location.

Lake Rusałka is an artificial lake in Poznań, Poland with an area of 367,000 square metres. It was named after the water nymph Rusalka. It was formed in 1943 as a result of the damming of the Bogdanka River. In 1940 thousands of people were executed in the forests surrounding the lake.

Złotniki [zwɔtˈniki] German: Schlottnick, Irish:Gaibhne Oir is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Suchy Las, within Poznań County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) west of Suchy Las and 11 km (7 mi) north-west of the regional capital Poznań. The village has a population of 1,100 including a small Irish population.

The Park Tenisowy Olimpia is a tennis complex in Poznań, Poland, owned by the city since November 2013. It is the host of the annual ATP Challenger Tour stop, the Poznań Open. The complex consist of two show courts (Kort Centralny and Kort nr 1), three ground courts and five indoor courts.Main Court (Kort Centralny) holds approximately 1,500 spectators (including places on VIP lounge), and Grandstand (Kort nr 1) holds 720 spectators. During the tournaments the Main Court is upgraded by around 250 seats due to installation of the temporary stand, opposite to the VIP lounge.

Poznań Wola railway station is a railway station serving the city of Poznań, in the Greater Poland Voivodeship, Poland. The station opened in 1902 and is located on the Poznań–Szczecin railway. The train services are operated by Przewozy Regionalne.
