Simsim (Arabic: سمسم), also spelled Semsem or Sumsum, was a Palestinian village, located 15 kilometers (9.3 mi) northeast of Gaza. It was depopulated and destroyed during the 1948 Palestine war as part of the 1948 Palestinian expulsion and the Nakba.
