The UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy is located at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and includes a satellite campus at UNC Asheville. The Asheville School of Pharmacy campus opened in 2011, and graduated its first class in 2015.U.S. News & World Report ranked the Eshelman School the #1 pharmacy school in the United States in 2016, 2020, 2021, and 2022.The school is named after alumni Dr. Fred Eshelman who had donated nearly $140 million to the school.It offers a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences with a specialization in health system pharmacy administration, and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences with an emphasis in four research areas.Robert A. Blouin was the Dean of the school from 2003 to 2017, until he became the school's Provost in 2017. Dr. Dhiren Thakker was appointed interim dean, and turned the position over to Dr. Angela Kashuba when she became the college's first woman Dean since the inception of the historic school.

The UNC Claude A. Adams Jr. and Grace Phillips Adams School of Dentistry is the school of dentistry of the University of North Carolina. It is located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, United States. It is currently ranked second among all dental schools in the U.S. and is consistently ranked among the best in the world according to two independent rankings. Founded in 1950 as the UNC School of Dentistry, it was the only dental school in North Carolina until 2011, when East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine became the second. In 2019, the school received its largest single donation of $27.68 million, resulting in a name change to honor Dr. Claude A. Adams Jr. and Grace Phillips Adams. Dr. Adams was a North Carolina dentist that practiced in Durham until his death in 2018.

The Carolina Inn is a hotel listed on the National Register of Historic Places on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Orange County, North Carolina, which opened in 1924. The Carolina Inn is a member of Historic Hotels of America, the official program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.The original section of the hotel was built in 1923–1924 on the site of the chapel that gave the town of Chapel Hill its name. Wings were added in 1939–1940, 1969–1970, and 1995. Each section consists of two stories constructed in red brick topped by a gambrel roof with dormers. The front facade of the original section features a two-story piazza supported by six tall paneled wooden posts and a centrally-placed cupola atop this original block. The building is Colonial Revival in style, with Classical Revival design elements. It was built by alumnus John Sprunt Hill and donated to the university in 1935.It was managed by Doubletree from 1993 to 2007.

Robert Allison Fetzer Hall is a multi-purpose sport venue on the campus of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, United States. The building hosts several sport courts. The Fetzer Gyms A and B are used for basketball, volleyball, badminton and team handball.

The school, founded in 1950, is ranked competitively among the best journalism schools in the United States. The school offers undergraduate degrees in media & journalism as well as advertising & public relations. It offers master's degrees in journalism, strategic communication, and visual communication and doctoral degrees in media & communication.The school is home to the North Carolina Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations and Broadcasting Halls of Fame.

The UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center is a cancer research and treatment center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. One of 52 National Cancer Institute-designated comprehensive cancer centers in the United States, its clinical base is the N.C. Cancer Hospital, part of the UNC Health Care system. UNC Lineberger is the only public NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center in the state of North Carolina. The current director is H. Shelton Earp III who succeeded current NCI director Norman Sharpless.

The Sonja Haynes Stone Center for Black Culture and History (originally the Black Cultural Center) was founded on July 1, 1988 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

The West Chapel Hill Historic District is a national historic district in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The district comprises several small neighborhoods and is roughly bounded by West Cameron Avenue, Malette Street, Ransom Street, Pittsboro Street, University Drive and the Westwood Subdivision. The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1998, and was enlarged in 2019. The district encompasses an upper-middle class residential neighborhood that developed during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The growth of the district is related to the development of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and the town of Chapel Hill.

UNC Medical Center (UNCMC) is a 932-bed non-profit, nationally ranked, public, research and academic medical center located in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, providing tertiary care for the Research Triangle, surrounding areas and North Carolina. The medical center is the flagship campus of the UNC Health Care Health System and is made up of four hospitals that include the North Carolina Memorial Hospital, North Carolina Children's Hospital, North Carolina Neurosciences Hospital, North Carolina Women's Hospital, and the North Carolina Cancer Hospital. UNCMC is affiliated with the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. UNCMC features an ACS designated adult and pediatric Level 1 Trauma Center and has a helipad to handle medevac patients.

The Louis Round Wilson Library is a library at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Completed in 1929, it served as the university's main library until 1984. Today, it houses several special collections. The dome rises 85 feet over the university's South Quadrangle.
