Hempfield High School is a public senior high school located in Salunga-Landisville, Pennsylvania, United States. It serves both East and West Hempfield townships and serves as the only high school for Hempfield School District.

As of the 2010 United States Census the population of Salunga CDP was 2,695 people and the population of Landisville CDP was 1,893 people for a combined total of 4,588, a decrease of about 3.8% from the 2000 United States Census which recorded 4,771 in the Salunga-Landisville CDP. The name "Salunga" comes from the nearby Chiquesalunga (now Chickies) Creek, which in turn is derived from the Lenape "Chiquesalunga", meaning "place of the crayfish". Landisville is named for John Landis, the first postmaster there.

Samuel N. Mumma Tobacco Warehouse is a historic tobacco warehouse located at East Hempfield Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It was built about 1914, and is a three-story, three bay by ten bay, rectangular brick building. It has a gable roof and sits on a limestone foundation. It was built for the processing and storage of cigar leaf tobacco.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

The Schenk's Mill Covered Bridge or Shenk's Mill Covered Bridge is a covered bridge that spans the Big Chiques Creek in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. A county-owned and maintained bridge, its official designation is the Big Chiques #4 Bridge. (Chiques Creek was known as Chickies Creek until 2002).The bridge has a single span, wooden, double Burr arch trusses design with the addition of steel hanger rods. The deck is made from oak planks. It is painted red, the traditional color of Lancaster County covered bridges, on both the inside and outside. Both approaches to the bridge are painted in the traditional white color. It is one of only 3 covered bridges in the county with horizontal side boards. On December 31, 2017, a truck driver from Arizona damaged the bridge while attempting to cross it, claiming to be lost on the way to Baltimore and following his GPS.The bridge's WGCB Number is 38-36-30. Added in 1980, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as structure number 80003531. It is located at 40°6′57.6″N 76°25′31.1″W (40.1160, -76.4253).

The source is at an elevation of 1,100 feet (340 m) near Mount Gretna Heights in Lebanon County. The mouth is the confluence with the Susquehanna River at an elevation of 230 feet (70 m) at Marietta in Lancaster County.

Christian Habeck Farm, also known as the Abraham Brubaker Farm, is a historic farm and national historic district located at East Hempfield Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The district includes 12 contributing buildings. They include the brick farmhouse, a frame Pennsylvania bank barn (1869), spring house (c. 1876), two frame tobacco barns (c. 1920), a brick tenant house (c. 1880), a summer kitchen (c. 1876), a pigsty (c. 1900), a milk house, and a creamery (c. 1910). The farmhouse dates to the mid-to-late-19th century. It is a 2 1/2-story, rectangular brick dwelling, with a full-width front porch.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.
