Temecula Creek

Murrieta Creek runs 13 miles (21 km) southeasterly through southwestern Riverside County, California, United States, through the cities of Wildomar, Murrieta, and Temecula, ending 0.5 miles (0.80 km) southeast of the city center of Temecula, where it has its confluence with Temecula Creek and forms the head of the Santa Margarita River.

KKLM (104.1 FM, 104.1 KLOVE) is a religious radio station licensed to serve Murrieta, California. Owned by the Educational Media Foundation, it is an affiliate of the K-Love network, and airs its CCM music format. KKLM currently operates under a Class A nonprofit broadcast license. No local programming originates at the station, as it broadcasts complete wall-to-wall syndicated programming full-time. KKLM's primary broadcast area includes the northern parts of San Diego County, and the Temecula Valley, with the transmitter on the valley floor. Due to the transmitter's location, it is also classified as being in the Inland Empire.

Pauba Valley is a valley along the course of Temecula Creek, in Riverside County, California. It heads to the east at 33°30′06″N 117°00′10″W, the mouth of the gorge of Temecula Creek Canyon at the foot of Oak Mountain. Its mouth in the west is at an elevation of 1,014 feet (309 m), where it joins the Elsinore Trough at the confluence of Wolf Valley and Temecula Valley. The valley is bounded on the north and southwest by hills of the ancient eroding sediments of the Temecula Basin and on the northeast and southeast by Oak Mountain.

The Chapel of Memories, formerly St. Catherine's of Alexandria Church, is an historic building in Temecula, California. Built in 1917, the building is now located in Sam Hicks Monument Park on the north side of Old Town Temecula. Chapel of Memories is owned by the Old Town Temecula Museum Society.

Temecula (; Spanish: Temécula, [te'mekula]; Luiseño: Temeekunga) is a city in southwestern Riverside County, California, United States. The city is a tourist and resort destination, with the Temecula Valley Wine Country, Old Town Temecula, the Temecula Valley Balloon & Wine Festival, the Temecula Valley International Film Festival, championship golf courses, and resort accommodations for tourists which contribute to the city's economic profile. Although Temecula is geographically closer to downtown San Diego than downtown Los Angeles, it is considered part of the Greater Los Angeles area. The city of Temecula, forming the southwestern anchor of the Inland Empire region, is approximately 58 miles (93 km) north of downtown San Diego and 85 miles (137 km) southeast of downtown Los Angeles. Temecula is bordered by the city of Murrieta to the north and the Pechanga Indian Reservation and San Diego County to the south. With a population of 110,003 during the 2020 census, Temecula is the 5th most populous city in Riverside County. It was incorporated on December 1, 1989.

Temecula Valley High School, known by locals as TV, is a public high school for grades 9 to 12 in Temecula, California. The school opened in 1985 as the city's first high school. When it was built, it was a part of the Elsinore Union High School District (now the Lake Elsinore Unified School District) until the Temecula Valley Unified School District was founded. It is a California Distinguished School. In its first year, the school's attendance consisted of 350 students and 17 teachers. Over the years, attendance has increased to over 3,000. In order to keep up with increasing enrollment, the school has undergone several changes. In August 2007, Temecula Valley High opened a new multimillion-dollar gym. In May 2013, Temecula Valley High School completed a multimillion-dollar performing arts center. In February 2015, a renovation of the Stadium was completed, changing the field to turf rather than grass.

Pechanga Resort Casino is one of the largest casino/resorts in the United States, with more than 5,400 slot machines and approximately 200,000 sq ft (19,000 m2) of gaming space.

Linfield Christian School (LCS) is a private, co-educational, college-preparatory K-12 Christian school located on a 100-acre campus in Temecula, California, a city that is located between San Diego and Los Angeles. The school’s colors are navy blue, light blue and white, and the school mascot is the Lion. The current student enrollment is approximately 750 students.

Rancho Little Temecula was a 2,233-acre (9.04 km2) Mexican land grant in present-day Riverside County, California given in 1845 by Governor Pío Pico to Pablo Apis. The grant was one of the few held by indigenous people. The grant is south of present-day Temecula and is bordered on the north by Temecula Creek. At the time of the US patent, Rancho Little Temecula was a part of San Diego County. Riverside County was created by the California Legislature in 1893 by taking land from both San Bernardino and San Diego Counties.

KMYT (94.5 FM) is an alternative rock radio station in Temecula, California. The station is owned and operated by iHeartMedia, Inc. The station's webcast is on the iHeartRadio app. KMYT shares studios and offices with co-owned KTMQ, as well as the iHeart Riverside-San Bernardino stations, on Iowa Avenue in Riverside. The transmitter is off Via Labanca in a rural part of Temecula.

KTMQ (103.3 FM) is an active rock radio station that serves the Temecula Valley and Inland Empire areas. The station is owned by iHeartMedia, Inc.

Wolf Valley is a graben rift valley in the Elsinore Trough, in western Riverside County, California.
