Massaemett Mountain

High Ledges is a wildlife sanctuary located in Shelburne, Massachusetts. The 587-acre (2.38 km2) property, located on the northern portion of Massaemett Mountain, is owned by Massachusetts Audubon Society. One of the highlights of the sanctuary is the vista known as High Ledge. The cliff overlooks Shelburne Falls and areas to the west, including Mount Greylock. The sanctuary's wildflower blooms include the Yellow lady's slipper.

Shelburne Falls is a historic village in the towns of Shelburne and Buckland in Franklin County, Massachusetts, United States. The village is a census-designated place (CDP) with a population of 1,731 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Springfield, Massachusetts, Metropolitan Statistical Area.

The Shelburne Falls Trolley Museum is a small railroad museum in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, United States.The museum (SFTM) is dedicated to preserving and operating car number 10 of the former Shelburne Falls and Colrain Street Railway. This is a combination passenger-baggage trolley car built by the Wason Manufacturing Company of Springfield, Massachusetts, in 1896 and is the last known trolley car from the Shelburne Falls & Colrain Street Railway. In 1992, Marshall Johnson donated car number 10 (which his father had bought and saved when the Shelburne Falls & Colrain Street Railway shut down, decades earlier) to a small group of people who restored the car back to working order. The museum also has a small assortment of equipment that is not related to the Shelburne Falls & Colrain Street Railway, including an ex-Central Vermont caboose, a Central Vermont handcar, two MBTA PCC cars, and other railroad and trolley equipment. The Shelburne Falls Trolley Museum is located in the old Buckland Freight yard.

The Bridge of Flowers is in Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts, connecting the towns of Shelburne and Buckland. The seasonal footbridge – once a trolley bridge – has a garden of flowers covering it. It is only open between April and October.

The Odd Fellows' Hall is a historic Odd Fellows' hall at 1-5 State Street on the Buckland side of Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts. Built in 1877, and rebuilt after a damaging fire in 1895, it has been a focal point of the business district on the Buckland side of the village since its construction, serving an active Odd Fellows chapter until 1963. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. In 1988 it was included in the Shelburne Falls Historic District.

The Hill Cemetery and Parson Hubbard House Historic District encompasses a historic cemetery and parsonage in Shelburne, Massachusetts. The two properties are located on Old Village Road, on a hill above the Deerfield River known as Old Village Hill, and are the oldest surviving elements of the town's early colonial settlement. The district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

The Shelburne Free Public Library is one of two public libraries in Shelburne, Massachusetts. It is located at 233 Shelburne Center Road, in an architecturally distinctive 1898 Gothic Revival stone structure built out of local riverstone. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.

Arms Academy was a public school located in Shelburne, Massachusetts, United States. Named after Major Ira Arms, construction commenced following a gift of land and $20,000. Initially dedicated as a private school in 1880, Shelburne voters made it a public school in 1894. The final class graduated in 1967, prior to the establishment of nearby Mohawk Trail Regional High School. "Students from Rowe, Colrain, Buckland, Shelbourne, and other hilltowns" attended the school, according to a member of the class of 1967 who spoke with the local Greenfield Recorder. Other non-local students also attended the school. At the time the school closed, its last class was 65 graduates.Today, the building houses the Shelburne Historical Society.

Mohawk Trail Regional School is a school located on Route 112 in Buckland, Massachusetts, United States. The public school currently serves grades 7–12 for nine towns: Ashfield, Buckland, Charlemont, Colrain, Hawley, Heath, Plainfield, Rowe and Shelburne.

South River State Forest is located in Conway, Massachusetts. The forest is managed by the Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR).

Catamount is a former village of Colrain, Massachusetts. In 1812, the schoolhouse that once stood in Catamount was the first schoolhouse to fly the United States Flag.From the mid 18th century until the late 19th century, Catamount was mainly a farming community. Nearby Pocumtuck Mountain was often a popular destination for people around the state. In 1880, the Old Home Days festival on Pocumtuck Mountain was visited by Massachusetts Governor John Davis Long. Due in part to the remote, mountainous location, Catamount was abandoned in the early 20th century. Much of the land was acquired by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1967, leading to the creation of the Catamount State Forest. Catamount is currently accessible to hikers and snowmobilers. McLeod Pond is a popular destination for local fishers and canoers. Catamount State Forest is managed by the Mohawk Trail State Forest.
