Rosersberg

Arlandastad Golf is a 36-hole golfing complex situated near Arlanda Airport 35 km north of Stockholm, Sweden. It has hosted the Scandinavian Masters and SAS Masters on the European Tour.

Rosersberg Palace (Swedish: Rosersbergs slott) is one of the Royal Palaces of Sweden. Situated on the shores of Lake Mälaren, on the outskirts of Stockholm, it was built in the 1630s by the Oxenstierna family and became a royal palace in 1762, when the state gave it to Duke Karl (later Karl XIII), the younger brother of Gustav III of Sweden.

On 5 January 1970, a Convair 990 Coronado operated by the Spanish airline Spantax crashed shortly after take-off from Stockholm Arlanda Airport, killing five of the ten people on board.

Märsta (Swedish: [ˈmæ̂ːʂʈa]) is a suburb of Metropolitan Stockholm, a locality and the seat of Sigtuna Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden with 27,034 inhabitants in 2015. The town is situated close to Stockholm's main international airport, Arlanda. Even though its origins go back to around 500 AD, Märsta is a widespread modern residential area. Märsta has a mix of multi-storey dwellings and smaller houses. It is in a phase of expansion and new residential areas are built both in central parts of Märsta and in the surrounding areas like for instance Steningehöjden. Märsta can be reached by Stockholm commuter rail trains running at quarterly intervals during daytime and by bus from Stockholm Arlanda Airport. The central parts of Märsta has a shopping area "Märsta Centrum" with various shops, pub and restaurants. Another smaller shopping area is "Valsta Centrum". East of the central parts of Märsta there is an industrial area and a bit further east close to the airport a shopping mall "Eurostop". Most parts of Märsta and the municipality of Sigtuna can be reached with local bus services originating at the Märsta Railway Station and also connecting with commuter trains.

Löwenströmska lasarettet is a locality situated in Upplands Väsby Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden, with a population of 518 in 2010.It takes its name from a hospital that was founded by the brother of Jacob Johan Anckarström, the murderer of king Gustav III of Sweden. His brother, Gustaf Adolf Anckarström, changed his surname to Löwenström and founded the hospital as an act of penance. The original hospital was built in 1809–1811 and was in use until 1993. A number of other buildings were added over the years, including a sanatorium and a psychiatric hospital. A new building from the 1960s took over most of the functions of the hospital once it opened. The old buildings are now disused.

Märsta is a railway station located in Märsta in Sigtuna Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden. The station is located 36.5km north of Stockholm C, on the Swedish East Coast Line (Swedish: Ostkustbanan). The station serves long-distance and regional SJ trains, and since 1968 has also been a northern terminus for Stockholm's commuter trains. The station opened in 1876, ten years after the inauguration of the Stockholm-Uppsala railway line. The current station building was built in 1914 and, but severely in a fire in May 2000. Demolition was first considered but it was then decided that the building would be rebuilt.

Ekeby was a locality situated in Upplands Väsby Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden with 258 inhabitants in 2010.

Midgårdsvallen is a Football and Track & Field stadium in Märsta, Sweden and the home stadium for the football team Valsta Syrianska IK. The stadium was opened in 2005. The natural grass pitch measures 105 x 65 meters. Currently the Midgårdsvallen stadium is approved for Superettan, but additional flood lights can be installed for Allsvenskan level. The all-weather tracks has IAAF approved surfaces. Midgårdsvallen has a total capacity of 2,400 spectators. The main stand is covered and seats 400. The complex also includes a heated artificial turf football pitch and another artificial turf pitch for American Football.

Skånela Church (Swedish: Skånela kyrka) is a medieval Lutheran church in the Archdiocese of Uppsala in Stockholm County, Sweden. It is one of the oldest churches in Stockholm County.

Upplands Väsby Municipality (Upplands Väsby kommun) is a municipality in Stockholm County in east central Sweden, with a population of 38,963 (2010). Its seat is located in the town of Upplands Väsby. The municipality was created in connection with the municipal reform of 1952, when the rural municipalities Ed, Fresta and Hammarby were amalgamated. It got its name from a settlement which had evolved around the railway station. The name Väsby can be attested (as Vesby) from the 13th century. The prefix "Upplands" came to be used by the post station in 1919 as a means of separating it from other Väsbys in the country. The municipality was then named "Upplands-Väsby" for a time, but the dash was removed on 19 September 2002.
