Rydboholm Castle (Rydboholms slott) is a castle located near the village of Rydbo in Österåker Municipality, Stockholm County, Uppland, Sweden.

The 1988 Eisenhower Trophy took place 15 to 18 September at the Ullna Golf Club near Stockholm, Sweden. It was the 16th World Amateur Team Championship for the Eisenhower Trophy. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event with 39 four-man teams. The best three scores for each round counted towards the team total. The combined team of Great Britain and Ireland won the Eisenhower Trophy for the third time, finishing five strokes ahead of the silver medalists, United States. Australia took the bronze medal, a further eight strokes behind with Sweden finishing fourth. Peter McEvoy, representing Great Britain and Ireland, had the lowest individual score, 4-under-par 284, six strokes better than Australian David Ecob.

Ullna Golf & Country Club is a golf club situated 20 km north of Stockholm on the shore of Lake Ullna in the municipality of Österåker, Sweden. The premier championship venue in the region at the time, it hosted the Scandinavian Enterprise Open on the European Tour 1983–1987.

Stora Värtan is an inlet of the Baltic Sea located in the Stockholm archipelago north of the city of Stockholm, Sweden. It is bordered to the west by the municipalities of Täby and Danderyd, to the south by the municipality of Lidingö, to the north by the municipality of Österåker and to the northeast by the municipality of Vaxholm. Stora Värtan is about three kilometers wide from east to west and approximately six kilometers wide north to south. The inlet connects to Lilla Värtan in the southwest, Kyrkfjärden in the northeast and Askrikefjärden in the southeast. The inlet's western beaches, near the towns of Djursholm and Täby, are heavily populated, while the eastern waterfront is relatively undeveloped. Many bays surround the Stora Värtan and it also contains a number of islands, including Tornön, Bastuholmen, Lilla Skraggen, Stora Skraggen – which houses an active shipyard – and Storholmen, where the inlet flows into Askrikefjärden. Although it lacks road access, Storholmen is inhabited year-round. The islet of Råholmen – where the boundaries of Danderyd, Täby, Vaxholm and Österåker municipalities all meet – is also located in the Stora Värtan.

Angarn (Swedish pronunciation: [ˈâŋːɡɑːɳ]) is a former ward in Vallentuna Municipality, Uppland (Stockholm). Since 2006, Angarn has been part of Össeby congregation. In Angarn there are about 450 ancient monuments: cairns and stone circles of Bronze Age type, a remarkable rock carving, burial ground from the older and younger Iron Age and 10 rune stones. The rectangular granite Angarn Church was probably built at the end of the 13th century. The name ("Angarnæ", 1333) is a composition of an ("received") and garn ("elongated formation"), here referring to Angarnsjöängen, formerly a bay against Garnviken (formerly Garn).
