The Hamilton Library at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa is the largest research library in the state of Hawaii. The Library serves as a key resource for the flagship Manoa campus (a land, sea and space grant institution) as well as the other University of Hawaiʻi system campuses. It was designed by George Hogan who designed numerous houses on the island including Plantation Estate which was used by Barack Obama as his Winter White House.

The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Shidler College of Business is located in the U.S. state of Hawai‘i and is the state's only public business school with graduate, executive and PhD level programs. Established in 1949, the Shidler College of Business is named after The Shidler Group's Jay H. Shidler, founder and managing partner of The Shidler Group, a Honolulu-based company focused on commercial real estate and credit-related investments.
