Sion Hill is a National Historic Landmark in Havre de Grace, Maryland, notable as an example of high-style Federal architecture and as the home of a family of prominent officers of the United States Navy. Work began at Sion Hill around 1785 for the Rev. John Ireland, but progressed slowly, as the unfinished house was sold in 1795 to Gordon Denison. In 1799 the still-unfinished house passed to Denison's daughter Minerva, who was to marry Commodore John Rodgers in 1806. Together, they finished the house. Descendants of John and Minerva Rodgers still own the house today, and have included son John Rodgers II, who commanded ironclads in the US Civil War, Rear Admiral John Augustus Rodgers (1848-1933) and his son, naval aviator John Rodgers (1881-1926).

WXCY-FM (103.7 FM) is a radio station in Havre de Grace, Maryland. Owned by Forever Media, it broadcasts a country music format serving the I-95 corridor from Wilmington, Delaware, to Baltimore, Maryland. In 2019, Delmarva Broadcasting Company was acquired by Forever Media.On January 1, 2021, the then-WXCY changed its call sign to WXCY-FM and began simulcasting on sister station WXCY and its translator W245CJ.

The Millard E. Tydings Memorial Bridge carries Interstate 95 (I-95) over the Susquehanna River between Cecil County and Harford County, Maryland. The toll bridge carries 29 million vehicles annually. It is upstream from the Thomas J. Hatem Memorial Bridge, which carries the parallel U.S. Route 40 (US 40). The bridge is named for Millard Tydings (1890–1961), a longtime political figure in Maryland who served as U.S. Senator from 1927 to 1951. It was built between January 1962 and November 1963 between bluffs high above the river valley, and is posted with warning signs "Subject to Crosswinds." It was dedicated, along with the highway it carries, by U.S. president John F. Kennedy on November 14, eight days before he was assassinated in Dallas, Texas. The next year, the highway was renamed the John F. Kennedy Memorial Highway. It is one of eight toll facilities operated by the Maryland Transportation Authority. The toll, levied on northbound traffic only, is $8.00 for two-axle vehicles as of July 1, 2013; larger vehicles pay another $8 per additional axle. In March 2020, the remaining toll collectors were replaced with electronic tolling because of the COVID-19 pandemic, with tolls payable through E-ZPass or Video Tolling, which uses automatic license plate recognition. All-electronic tolling was made permanent in August 2020.The bridge was closed during Hurricane Sandy on October 30, 2012, perhaps the first time it was ever shut down.

The Southern Terminal, Susquehanna and Tidewater Canal is a national historic district at Havre de Grace, Harford County, Maryland, United States. Located along the western bank of the Susquehanna River near its mouth at the Chesapeake Bay, it includes the Lock Master's House, the canal's outlet lock, and the foundations of a bulkhead wharf along the river side of the lock. Most of the structures built to serve aspects of the Susquehanna and Tidewater Canal operations are no longer standing, but the locations of warehouses, stables, and several other buildings, including a broom factory, are shown on old city maps.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

The 2005 LPGA Championship was the 51st LPGA Championship, played June 9–12 at Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, Maryland. This was the second of four major championships on the LPGA Tour in 2005. Two-time defending champion Annika Sörenstam won for the third consecutive year, three strokes ahead of runner-up Michelle Wie, a 15-year-old amateur. It was the ninth of Sörenstam's ten major titles, and was also consecutive major wins, as she won the Kraft Nabisco Championship by eleven strokes in March. Wie's inclusion created some controversy, as the event was traditionally for professionals only; she turned pro four months later in October. Starting with this edition, the LPGA Championship was played at Bulle Rock for five consecutive years, through 2009; the previous eleven were held in nearby Delaware at DuPont Country Club in Wilmington.

The 2007 LPGA Championship was played from June 7–10 at Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, Maryland. This was the 53rd edition of the LPGA Championship, the second of four major championships on the LPGA Tour in 2007. Suzann Pettersen, age 26, won her first major title with 274 (−14), one stroke ahead of runner-up Karrie Webb; it was her second career win on the LPGA Tour.

The 2008 LPGA Championship was the 54th LPGA Championship, played June 5–8 at Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, Maryland. This was the second of four major championships on the LPGA Tour in 2008. The champion was tour rookie Yani Tseng, age 19, with a playoff victory over Maria Hjorth. The two finished regulation play at 276 (−12), one stroke ahead of Annika Sörenstam and Lorena Ochoa. Tseng birdied the fourth extra hole for her first career win on the LPGA Tour and became the first rookie to win a major in a decade.This championship was played at Bulle Rock for five consecutive seasons, 2005 through 2009.

The 2009 LPGA Championship was the 55th LPGA Championship, played June 11–14 at Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, Maryland. This was the second of four major championships on the LPGA Tour in 2009. Tour rookie Anna Nordqvist, age 22, won her first major title, four strokes ahead of runner-up Lindsey Wright. It was Nordqvist's first career win on the LPGA Tour. Beginning in 2005, this championship was played at Bulle Rock for five consecutive seasons, ending with this edition.

The 2006 LPGA Championship was the 52nd LPGA Championship, played June 8–11 at Bulle Rock Golf Course in Havre de Grace, Maryland. This was the second of four major championships on the LPGA Tour in 2006. Se Ri Pak, age 28, won her third LPGA Championship with a playoff victory over Karrie Webb. She three-putted the 72nd hole to fall into a tie with Webb at 280 (−8), one stroke ahead of Ai Miyazato and Mi Hyun Kim. Webb had birdie opportunities on the final two holes, but parred both.After a short tee shot on the first extra hole, Pak hit her long approach shot within inches for birdie to gain her fifth major title and 23rd win on the LPGA Tour, the first in two years.This championship was played at Bulle Rock for five consecutive seasons, 2005 through 2009.

Bulle Rock Golf Course is a golf course in the eastern United States, located in Havre de Grace, Maryland. It is named for Bulle Rock, the first thoroughbred racehorse brought to America. It hosted the LPGA Championship, a women's major, from 2005 through 2009.Bulle Rock was designed by noted course architect Pete Dye and opened 25 years ago in 1998. In 2002, Manekin, LLC, Clark Turner, and H&S Properties Development Corporation purchased the golf course and surrounding land and properties from original owner, Ed Abel. The golf course has consistently won awards.

Havre de Grace (), abbreviated HdG, is a city in Harford County, Maryland. It is situated at the mouth of the Susquehanna River and the head of Chesapeake Bay. It is named after the port city of Le Havre, France, which in full was once Le Havre de Grâce (French, "Harbor of Grace"). The population was 12,952 at the 2010 U.S. census. In 2014, Smithsonian magazine called it one of the 20 best small U.S. towns to visit.
