Chełmsko Śląskie [ˈxɛu̯mskɔ ˈɕlɔ̃skʲɛ] (German: Schömberg) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Lubawka, within Kamienna Góra County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland, near the border with the Czech Republic. It lies approximately 7 km (4 mi) south-east of Lubawka, 17 km (11 mi) south of Kamienna Góra, and 86 km (53 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław.

Olszyny [ɔlˈʂɨnɨ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Kamienna Góra, within Kamienna Góra County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. It lies approximately 15 km (9 mi) south of Kamienna Góra and 85 km (53 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław. After World War II, in 1945–1947, Poles expelled from Łanczyn in pre-war south-eastern Poland annexed by the Soviet Union settled in Olszyny. An agricultural cooperative was founded in the village in 1951.

Gmina Lubawka is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Kamienna Góra County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland. Its seat is the town of Lubawka, which lies approximately 14 kilometres (9 mi) south of Kamienna Góra, and 87 kilometres (54 mi) south-west of the regional capital Wrocław. The gmina covers an area of 138.08 square kilometres (53.3 sq mi), and as of 2019 its total population is 10,901.

Lubawka [luˈbafka] (German: Liebau) is a town in Poland, in Lower Silesia Voivodship, in Kamienna Góra County. It is the administrative seat of Gmina Lubawka. It lies in the Sudetes near to the border with the Czech Republic on the way across the Lubawka pass (516m) between the Karkonosze and Krucze Mountains (Czech: Vraní hory). Two small rivers, the Bóbr and Czarnuszka, run through the town, which has 6,028 inhabitants (2019).

The Krucze Mountains (Czech: Vraní hory, German: Rabengebirge Polish: Góry Krucze) are the Eastern part of the Stone Mountains, which belong to the Central Sudetes on the border of the Czech Republic and Poland. To the West and North-Western part the mountain range borders the Lubawska Plateau and the Karkonosze Mountains, to the North-Eastern part they border the mountain range Czarny Las, from the East they border the sediment basin Kotlina Krzeszowska and the Zawory mountain range and to the South the mountain range borders the Czech part of the Stołowe Mountains. To the Southern ridge of mountain range is the Polish-Czech border. The border crossing for cars is in Lubawka and for tourists is in Okrzeszyn.

Basilica of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Krzeszów (Polish: Bazylika Wniebowzięcia NMP w Krzeszowie) is a Roman Catholic church located within the abbey of the Order of Saint Benedict in Krzeszów, Poland. Built in 1728–1735, it is a notable Baroque church in Lower Silesia and a shrine to the Virgin Mary, listed as a Historic Monument of Poland. It is a basilica since 1998.

Krzeszów Abbey (Polish: Klasztor w Krzeszowie, German: Kloster Grüssau) is a historical Baroque Cistercian monastery in Krzeszów, Lower Silesia, Poland. The Abbey, a 1242 Benedictine foundation, from 1289 to 1810 was run by Cistercians, until it was secularized by the Prussian state. Since 1919, it was again run by Benedictines, exiles from Prague. The new location in post-war West Germany was referred to as Grüssau Abbey or Grüssau-Wimpfen. The site of the abbey in Krzeszów, Poland, is known as Krzeszów Abbey. The abbey's Basilica of the Assumption contains a mausoleum of dukes of the Świdnica line of the Polish Piast dynasty. The name Grüssau Abbey refers to a house of the Benedictine Order founded in 1947 in the town of Bad Wimpfen in Baden-Württemberg, where the German Grüssau (Krzeszów) community moved, after Krzeszów became again part of Poland following World War II. The original abbey is now one of Poland's official national Historic Monuments (Pomnik historii), as designated May 1, 2004, and tracked by the National Heritage Board of Poland.
