Keysville is an unincorporated community in Rappahannock County, in the U.S. state of Virginia.

Ben Venue is a historic home and farm located near Washington, Rappahannock County, Virginia. The main house was built between 1844 and 1846, and is a three-story, five-bay, brick dwelling with a side gable roof and parapets. It features a one-story porch that covers the central three bays; it has four Doric order columns supporting a bracketed entablature. The property also includes three brick slave cabins, the original Fletcher homestead, kitchen, smokehouse, privy, and a formal garden.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The Ben Venue Rural Historic District encompasses a large rural historic landscape in northeastern Rappahannock County, Virginia. It is centered on Ben Venue Road, between United States Route 211 in the south and the village of Flint Hill in the north, and encompasses more than 2,600 acres (1,100 ha) of rural landscape, affording fine panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains to the west. This area was developed agriculturally beginning in the mid-18th century by wealthy Virginia families, around what was one of the region's first turnpikes, and has maintained its rural character in the intervening centuries. Prominent properties in the district include the 1844 Ben Venue estate and the 1773 Battle Run Primitive Baptist Church.The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.

Flint Hill is a census-designated place (CDP) in Rappahannock County, Virginia, United States. The population as of the 2010 Census was 209. It is located on Route 522, approximately 2 miles to the east of the border of the Shenandoah National Park. The linear and compact shaped village includes agricultural buildings, residential dwellings, churches, and schools, representing a variety of architectural designs, such as Greek Revival, Italianate, Gothic revival, Craftsman, and Federal.Most of the village, including a two-mile stretch of Route 522 between Wilson Branch Creek and Ben Venue Road and portions of several side streets, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012 as the Flint Hill Historic District. The Caledonia Farm and the Flint Hill Baptist Church are also separately listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Just to the north of the town is the campus of Wakefield Country Day School, a private school founded in 1972 which serves Rappahannock County and the surrounding community.

Flint Hill Baptist Church is a historic Southern Baptist church in Flint Hill, Rappahannock County, Virginia. The original section was built in 1854 and expanded and remodeled in the 1890s in the Late Victorian style. The original section is a one-story, gable-roofed, frame-and-weatherboard rectangular structure. Later additions are the front entrance tower topped with a belfry and Sunday school rooms to the rear. It features six stained-glass windows. Also on the property is the contributing church cemetery. Among those buried in the churchyard is Confederate Private Albert Gallatin Willis, one of Mosby's Rangers and a seminarian who offered himself for execution in the place of a married comrade-in-arms; the grave is noted with a marker in the Civil War Trails series.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1997 and included in the Flint Hill Historic District in 2012.

Hume Historic District is a national historic district located at Hume, Fauquier County, Virginia. It encompasses 59 contributing buildings in the rural village of Hume. The majority of the buildings in the district are vernacular in nature and are late-19th- to early- 20th-century frame dwellings of the side-passage and I-house form. It also contains three commercial buildings, a church, two schools, and a former tavern. Notable buildings include Barbee's Tavern (c. 1787), "The Dell," the parsonage for Leeds Church (c. 1855), former Captain Marshall's Store (c. 1860), the African-American Hume School (c. 1906), the former Hume Methodist Church (c. 1900), and the Hume Baptist Church (1921).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

Wakefield Country Day School is a co-educational, independent, non-sectarian elementary, middle, and high school situated in Rappahannock County, United States and serving grades preschool (age 3) through grade 12. The school's 12-acre (49,000 m2) campus is located near the town of Flint Hill, about 90 minutes from Washington, DC. Founded and in continuous operation since 1972, the school is accredited with the Virginia Independent School Association. The second largest employer in Rappahannock, the school as of September 2022 had an enrollment of 200 students from Rappahannock county and eight others — Culpeper, Fauquier, Frederick, Madison, Page, Prince William, Shenandoah and Warren.The school's educational philosophy places a focus on the study of humanities, especially English language and composition, History, Foreign Languages, and Classical Languages. Amissville ( AY-mis-vil) is an unincorporated community in Rappahannock County in the U.S. commonwealth of Virginia. It is located on U.S. Route 211 about halfway between Warrenton and the small town of Washington, Virginia. The Locust Grove/R.E. Luttrell Farmstead and Meadow Grove Farm are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Meadow Grove Farm is a historic farm complex and national historic district located at Amissville, Rappahannock County, Virginia. It encompasses 13 contributing buildings and 5 contributing sites. The main house was constructed in four distinct building phases from about 1820 to 1965. The oldest section is a 1 1/2-story log structure, with a two-story Greek Revival style main block added about 1860. A two-story brick addition, built in 1965, replaced a two-story wing added in 1881. In addition to the main house the remaining contributing resources include a tenant house/slave quarters, a schoolhouse, a summer kitchen, a meat house, a machine shed, a blacksmith shop, a barn, a chicken coop, a chicken house, two granaries, and a corn crib; a cemetery, an icehouse ruin, two former sites of the present schoolhouse, and the original site of the log granary.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2006.

Caledonia Farm, also known as Fountain Hall, is a historic home located at Flint Hill, Rappahannock County, Virginia. It was built about 1812, and is a two-story, three-bay, Federal style stone dwelling. The original stone kitchen was connected to the north end of the house in the 1960s. The property also includes the contributing Dearing family cemetery.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
