Ash-Shuyukh

Sa'ir (Arabic: سعير, also spelled Saeer, Seir, or Si'ir) is a Palestinian town in the Hebron Governorate of the State of Palestine, in the southern West Bank, located 8 kilometers (5.0 mi) northeast of Hebron. Nearby localities include Beit Fajjar and al-Arroub to the north, Beit Ummar to the northwest, Halhul to the west and Beit Einun and ash-Shuyukh to the south. The Dead Sea is just east of Sa'ir's municipal borders. In the 2007 census Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the town had a population of over 18,045.It has municipal jurisdiction over 117,000 dunams, 6,000 of which is built-up area and 11,715 of which is cultivated. The main economic activities in Sa'ir are agriculture and the Israeli labor market, although the latter has been adversely affected as a result of the Israeli restrictions following the Second Intifada in 2000–04. Olives are the major cash crop.

ad-Duwwara (Arabic: الدوّارة) is a Palestinian village located four kilometers east of Hebron.The village is in the Hebron Governorate Southern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the village had a population of 1,685 in mid-year 2006. The primary health care facilities for the village are located at Beit Einun, which are designated by the Ministry of Health as level 2.

Beit Einun or Bayt 'Anun (Arabic: بيت عينون) is a Palestinian village in the Hebron Governorate, located five kilometers northeast of Hebron in the southern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the village had a population of 1,809 inhabitants in 2007.The Israeli army has a major road block at Beit Einun Junction. Following the upsurge in violence from October 2015 it has been a focus of attacks against soldiers by young Palestinians. The attackers are usually shot dead. In the first two weeks of 2016 there were three separate incidents in which four young Palestinian attackers were killed, no soldiers were injured.

Khirbet Kuwayzibah (Arabic: كوزيبا, Hebrew: ח'רבת כויזבה), also Kuzibah, Kueiziba, is an ancient ruin, partly inhabited, in the Hebron Governorate in the West Bank, presently part of Sa'ir.

al-Uddeisa, also spelled Al 'Uddeisa, is a Palestinian village located four kilometers east of Hebron.The village is a locality of Sa'ir, in the Hebron Governorate Southern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the village had a population of 1,474 in mid-year 2006. The primary health care facilities for the village are designated by the Ministry of Health as level 1.

The murder of Asher and Yonatan Palmer occurred on 23 September 2011, when a Palestinian stone throwing attack caused Asher, aged 24, to lose control of a vehicle he was driving near the Israeli settlement of Kiryat Arba in the West Bank, killing him and his infant son. Initially thought to be an accident, it was later deemed a terrorist attack by the Israel Police.Two Palestinians confessed to the attack; a third, who stole from Asher's body, was convicted of theft.

Shuyukh al-Arrub (Arabic: شيوخ العروب) is a Palestinian village located eleven kilometers north-east of Hebron. The village is in the Hebron Governorate Southern West Bank. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the village had a population of 1,550 inhabitants in 2007. The primary health care facilities for the village are designated by the Ministry of Health as level 2.

Metzad (Hebrew: מיצד), also known as Asfar (אַסְפָר), is an Israeli settlement organised as a community settlement in the Gush Etzion settlement bloc in the West Bank. Established as by ultra-orthodox Jews in 1984, it is located south of Bethlehem in the eastern Judean Mountains, 14.5 km from the Green Line, outside the Separation Barrier. In January 2022 its population was 1110, up 35% from five years earlier. It falls under the municipal jurisdiction of the Gush Etzion Regional Council.

The August 2010 West Bank shooting attack was an attack near the Israeli settlement of Kiryat Arba in the Israeli-occupied West Bank, carried out by Hamas militants. Four Israeli settlers from the settlements of Beit Hagai and Efrat were killed after militants attacked their vehicle. It was the deadliest Palestinian attack on Israelis in over two years.Hamas hailed the attack as "heroic" and promised further attempts to kill "illegal settlers" in the West Bank. Hamas supporters in Jabalia publicly celebrated the killings. The attack was condemned by the United Nations, Israel and the Palestinian Authority. The assailants were arrested by the Palestinian Authority but promptly released after Hamas accused the authority of treason. On 8 October, Israel arrested militants connected with the attack in a raid in which two Hamas operatives were killed.

Nabi Yunis (Arabic: جبل النبي يونس) is the highest point of the Palestinian territories, with an altitude of 1,030 metres (3,380 ft). It is located in the town of Halhul, Hebron Governorate.

Al-Arroub (Arabic: مخيّم العروب, lit. 'Camp al-'Arrub') is a Palestinian refugee camp located in the southern West Bank along the Hebron-Jerusalem road, in the Hebron Governorate of the State of Palestine. Al-Arroub is 15 kilometers south of Bethlehem, with a total land area of 240 dunums. Since the Six-Day War in 1967, the camp has been under Israeli occupation. The population in the 1967 census conducted by the Israeli authorities was 3,647.According to the UNRWA, in 2005, it had a population of 9,859 registered refugees. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), the camp's population is 10,487 in 2016.In 2002, two schools were built in the camp: the Arroup Secondary School for boys, and another school for girls.

Pnei Kedem (Hebrew: פְּנֵי קֶדֶם) is an Israeli outpost in the West Bank. It is located next to the Palestinian city of Si'ir and is formally connected to the Israeli settlement of Metzad, in the southeastern part of the Gush Etzion settlement bloc, in the eastern Judean Mountains facing Nahal Arugot (Arugot Stream). Pnei Kedem stands at an elevation of 930 metres above sea level, 14.5 km east of the Green Line, on the Palestinian side of the Separation Barrier. The international community considers all Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, illegal under international law. Outposts like Pnei Kedekm, on the other hand, are considered illegal even under Israeli law.
